Colossi are immense constructs created to embody the will of a deity – whether for protection or destruction. Infused with divine magic, they are shaped by devout artisans who spend decades crafting them.
When a deity blesses the work, the colossus is brought to life by a powerful crystal within it. Most of these ancient beings now rest in remote regions, waiting to be awakened.
With a maximum strength score of 30 and +10 modifiers on their skill and saving throws, they also exhibit considerable physical strength. Their CR is 25, which is partly due to the various resistances and immunities they possess, making it difficult to confront them.
This makes them incredibly strong and powerful opponents. So be careful if your game master presents you with such constructs and you’re not prepared – it might be better to seek an alternative solution rather than brute force.
