Rockstar and the GTA Online-RP server nopixel are celebrating the next joint step, and with it, there are some gifts for those who follow it live on Twitch.
What are Rockstar and nopixel celebrating? In an announcement on Rockstar’s official website, the studio praises not only the work, storytelling, and passion of the team behind the project but also mentions September 8, 2026, as the start of a closed beta for “nopixel V”, a revision of the current project.
Who is nopixel? nopixel is one of the most well-known roleplay servers for GTA Online, which will soon officially be part of Rockstar’s ecosystem. To accompany the announcement, the group also released a trailer on YouTube, where you can take a closer look at the server:
This revision integrates the server into its own launcher to ensure better performance and accessibility and comes with various technical updates: a new character editor with more customization options, a revamped map, a newly built casino and hotel, visual effects, smarter NPCs, and other mechanics that are meant to support roleplay.
Whether the collaboration with nopixel could also be relevant regarding GTA 6 is still unknown.
To celebrate and promote this collaboration, Rockstar is also working with well-known content creators from the RP scene, allowing you to benefit from it as well.
Twitch Drops offer money and a cosmetic
How can you benefit from the collaboration in advance? While the closed beta of nopixel V is only available to selected streamers from the GTA roleplay scene, interested fans can still join on Twitch to get a glimpse of the revised version of the RP server.
Those who follow the streams of the roleplayers between September 8 and September 30, 2026, can receive up to 1.5 million GTA$, as well as a “Burger Shot” tracksuit as a cosmetic.
How many hours you need to watch these streams is still unknown. We will update the information as soon as it is available.
