Balors are winged warlords of demons, burning with unrestrained rage and hatred. They unleash their destructive power with a flashing sword and a flaming whip.
Even in death, their fury does not subside – they explode in a final act of vengeance. Demon lords and evil gods use them as leaders of their armies or guardians of dark secrets.
With a strength score of 26, they have a +8 modifier on their skill and saving throws based on the strength attribute. Balors offer a high strength value with a relatively moderate CR of 19 for a value this high, making them a considerable challenge even for experienced players.
