What’s going on in Pokémon GO? Currently in Pokémon GO the Hyperbonus: 10-Year Edition is running. This not only brings a lot of XP but also another special bonus.
Coins via Field Research: In the current event, you can actually find field research tasks that can increase your coin balance. If you find the right ones, you can receive ten coins for each completed research.
This is special in that coins are usually only earned through defending gyms – with a maximum coin limit of 50 per day. Otherwise, coins are normally only available in the shop.
Now you can earn more through research.
Which field research tasks in Pokémon GO grant coins?
Currently, there are three field research tasks you can use to earn coins.
- Spin 50 PokéStops or gyms
- Catch 100 Pokémon
- Complete 5 field research tasks
Important: These tasks can also bring other rewards, such as lucky eggs, star pieces, lures, or incense. While these are not coins, even with these items, the tasks are among the best you can collect in Pokémon GO.
The easiest to complete is likely the 5-field research task. The other two require relatively more effort.
How do I find these tasks? Unfortunately, it depends on chance. You just have to hope to receive them while spinning PokéStops. Therefore, you should particularly keep an eye on which field research tasks you have going and whether you might want to delete a few to make room for the special research tasks with coins and items.
