In Pokémon GO you can earn a lot of XP in just one week. But the preparation has to be right.
What’s happening in Pokémon GO? Pokémon GO is celebrating its birthday this month, and there’s currently an event with some pretty exciting bonuses – the Hyperbonus: 10-Year Edition.
One exciting bonus of this event is the amount of XP you can collect. There’s currently six times the catch XP, but there will be even more by the end of the event.
Which days will be important? On the 25th, 26th, and 27th of July, you will receive ten times the catch XP (at least from 10:00 AM on the 25th until 8:00 PM on the 27th).
And the great thing about it: If you do everything right now, you can take advantage of it for the perfect throw.
What is meant by perfect throw
?
What is meant is that you can earn an incredible amount of XP with just one throw if you take advantage of the ten times XP bonus. The key factor is the 7-day streak: If you catch a Pokémon every day, you will receive an additional 6,000 XP for the first Pokémon on the 7th day – or 60,000 if there are ten times XP.
You should check today that you either finish your 7-day streak on the 25th, 26th, or 27th of July. If you currently don’t have an active streak, you can still start today to collect the reward in 7 days.
What would a perfect throw look like? In addition to the 7-day streak, you should try to collect additional bonuses with the throw. A few examples:
- A Pokémon catch gives you 100 XP
- A new Pokémon that you don’t have yet gives you 1,000 XP
- The first catch of the day gives you 1,500 XP
- A curveball gives you 20
- For the first attempt, you get 50
- A great throw gives you 1,000 points
You can multiply all this by 10. If you use a lucky egg, the number doubles again.
You see: If everything goes right, you could collect an insane amount of XP in just 7 days with only one throw. So: Prepare yourself starting today! A good example of what that might look like can be seen here.
Even if you already have an active streak ending on the 25th or 26th of July, it could still work. It’s bad if you currently have an active streak of four days, for example. Then it won’t work out.
