If you want to reach the maximum level in Pokémon GO, you will need a lot of experience points. A trainer has proven how many can be achieved with a single throw.
For many trainers, reaching the maximum level in Pokémon GO is a goal that requires not only a lot of endurance but also a lot of time. Especially since the update, which raised the maximum level to level 80.
With good throws and the right event, a lot of experience points can be farmed right away. This is also proven by a trainer who achieved the almost perfect throw that rewarded him with nearly 70,000 experience points.
Bonuses, Skill, and a Bit of Luck
What did the trainer do? To collect the incredible amount of 69,460 experience points in a single throw, the trainer not only made a good throw but also had luck through a current event – as well as putting in some extra effort.
As seen in the picture on Reddit, he caught the monster with the first throw. He managed to pull off a “fabulous” curveball. In addition to these factors, he also activated a lucky egg and had a suitable Mega Evolution active, both of which provide extra experience points.
However, the two most important factors were different. On the one hand, the catch was the first catch of the day after 7 consecutive days in which he caught a monster. On the other hand, during this time, the 10th anniversary event of Pokémon GO was active.
The event ensured that all experience points from catches yielded four times the amount. This allowed the trainer to snag this massive amount of experience points with a single throw.
Could there have been even more? Yes. This almost perfect throw could have actually yielded even more experience points. If he hadn’t already had the monster, there would have been an additional 1,000 experience points (4,000 with the event bonus). Using the master ball could have also added another 1,000 (4,000 with the event bonus) experience points.
