Which Community Day is it about? The vote was about the Community Day expected on August 16. So it’s about the Community Day in almost two months.
Which Pokémon appears? That’s now clear after the vote: Kleptifux is the Pokémon of the day. It prevailed in the vote against Blipp, Hefel, and Voldi. And it did so quite clearly: In the survey on the Pokémon GO YouTube channel, Kleptifux collected 53% of the votes.
- 2nd place went to Blipp with 22%
- 3rd place to Voldi with 14%
- Hefel received 10% of the votes for 4th place
What kind of Pokémon is it? Kleptifux is a fox Pokémon of the Dark type. It can evolve into Gaunux. It is known for sneaking quietly, stealing the food of other Pokémon, and then covering its tracks.
But is it worth catching?
How strong is Kleptifux in Pokémon GO?
This is how strong Kleptifux is: Kleptifux is not a strong fighter in Pokémon GO, neither in gyms nor in raids or PvP. Even its evolution Gaunux doesn’t offer much. Currently, it is a niche Pokémon in the Super League, but even there, there are many better options.
It remains to be seen how it looks after the Community Day. Because at the event, special moves are often distributed that can make Pokémon more meta-relevant. What the move will be this time is still unknown.
Why was Kleptifux chosen? Its battle strength probably won’t be the reason, as when it comes to PvP, Blipp would have surpassed it with its evolution Wampitz.
However: Kleptifux is not yet available as Shiny in Pokémon GO. That typically changes when a Pokémon can be caught on Community Day, after all, one of the top arguments for the event series is the improved Shiny chance.
In this respect, you can definitely look forward to a new Shiny that you can soon add to your collection.
Which bonuses and other elements the Community Day will bring is currently still unknown. But: There’s still a bit of time until August. Before that, for example, the Community Day with Frospino is coming up.
