The developers of ARC Raiders want to release major updates only twice a year. However, there are still small patches, and the latest one has caused joy among the players.
What kind of patch is this? With the new patch version 1.29.0, the developers of ARC Raiders have made many players happy. There was a major change to the durability of the weapons.
This was intentionally nerfed by the developers so that players would invest more effort and resources into maintenance. However, this step is now being reversed, and a significant buff is being given.

They have cooked!
What has changed: The developers have heeded the voices of the frustrated players and have been swayed from their own idea. So there is now a decent buff for the weapons in the game.
The durability of the models Ferro, Anvil, Canto, Osprey, Renegade, Torrente, Bettina, and Jupiter has been noticeably increased. Depending on the weapon, the increase ranges from 18% to 54%. The biggest leap is made by the Renegade, which now breaks after 269 shots instead of the previous 175. Important: All mentioned values apply to the base level (level 1).
Additionally, there is a new grenade launcher called Rascal for the pocket, which is meant to function as a low-tier weapon against the ARCs.
How are the fans reacting to the patch? The patch triggers joy among the fans. One of the most annoying elements has been reverted and works better. The players’ excitement on Reddit reads as follows:
- Forcer222: “Stealth buffs, buffs for weapon durability, bug fixes on queen and matriarch to prevent them from clipping into buildings, visual corrections for fireflies, anti-cheat, and buffs for the other purple augmentations? They really have cooked.”
- hipsu55: “Good update, many things the people have wished for. And finally more inventory space, even if we have to wait another week for more.”
- Patara: “Only buffs, new content, and improvements. I’m impressed. Thank you, Embark.”
- Fyyar: “Very promising. New weapon that doesn’t seem overly rare. Increased durability on weapons. Also, more to do regarding the new trader.”
The developers of ARC Raiders have really “cooked” with this update and positively surprised the players.
