While in Path of Exile the new season is reaching its peak, players already have demands on the developers to make Path of Exile 2 even better.
What’s the status of Path of Exile 2? After several delays, Path of Exile 2 is still in Early Access on Steam almost 1.5 years after launch. Currently, most of the player base is immersed in the new season of the predecessor, Path of Exile: Mirage.

Here, players hope for an expansion of the endgame, but also for an improvement of the structure, which has historically been criticized repeatedly.
What else is highly valued? Players of Path of Exile 2 are looking for a new class along with a new weapon. So far, melee combat in the game has received little attention in the update. Therefore, swords and axes and their corresponding classes are an important concern for players.
If Path of Exile 2 wants to leave Early Access by 2026, the developers need to hurry, because even if some of the classes currently in development are added at release: Without new classes, the community is unlikely to remain engaged for long.
