Since the new expansion Return to the Ancients, players can easily access good builds in Path of Exile 2. The developers have now expanded the feature.
What is this feature? For years, players have used builds for Path of Exile and its successor that indicate which talents, skills, and items are sensible to create the strongest character possible.
With the current expansion Return to the Ancients, the developers have made this important aspect much easier. Now, the builds can be displayed directly in the game since the expansion, providing better orientation and overview. Previously, an extra tool was needed that showed players the way, for example, on a second monitor.
Now the developers have further expanded this feature and not only solved a problem.

A simple click with a big impact
What have the developers changed? Until now, despite the new in-game functions, players had to download builds normally from community websites. Although there is also an official forum with builds, there are hundreds of sites that offer their own variants.
However, downloading from unknown sites may not feel safe for some. Since the new update on June 22, 2026, build providers can add a direct “Subscribe” button on their website that brings the builds directly into the game – completely without download.
Why is this practical? While security is of course a concern, Path of Exile 2 is not only available on PC. The title can also be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, it has been difficult to access the builds there, as they could not simply be downloaded onto the console.
With the new update, however, everyone can access the builds at any time and bring them to the console without downloading, just at the press of a button. For those who do not own a computer, this is a real blessing.
To do this, you simply log into your account and can subscribe to the corresponding build on the page. One click later, you can also use the build on the console, PC, or elsewhere.
