On July 10, 2026, after more than two years of Early Access, Palworld will finally be released as a full 1.0 version. In this article, you will find 9 tips for your perfect start at launch, so you can get started quickly.
What is Palworld 1.0? Palworld 1.0 is the full version of the game. This goes live on July 10, 2026, ending the Early Access that started in early 2024. The developers at Pocket Pair are bringing a whole range of new features, gameplay mechanics, and even story quests into the game.
There will also be no server wipe at release. This means you can simply continue with your existing save files. However, since a lot of fresh content will go live, the developers themselves recommend starting fresh with a new save file.
9 Tips for a Perfect Start in Palworld 1.0
5 Tips for Those Who Want to Carry Over an Old Save in 1.0
If you want to carry over a current save in Palworld 1.0, you can do that. If you follow the tips below, your start will be even better.

Stockpile Pals
To start directly with all the new content from 1.0, it makes sense to stock up on enough Pals. Consider the Pals that will keep your base running, but also those you will take into battle and travel with.
It might also be worthwhile to breed and secure specific Pals you want, especially for the release.
Level Up Your Character and Pals
With 1.0, there will be many new challenges and old ones will be revised. For example, the tower bosses will be different. To be prepared for everything the developers throw at you, you should definitely level up.
Stockpile Resources
Fill your chests and warehouses (if you have built any) with the most important items you need for exploring and fighting. These can be finished items like weapons or Palspheres, but also crafting materials for things like cakes.
The more you have in stock, the easier 1.0 will be.
Check Your Bases
Now is the time to check your bases and possibly relocate them. Perhaps there are better spots available due to the latest updates than the ones you are currently in. For the start in 1.0, even moving to a new position might be worth it.
Stockpile Important Currencies
In addition to the important items, you should also stock up on as much in-game currency as you can. This can include:
- Gold
- Dog Coins
- Ripe Awakening Starfruit
- Training Manuals
- Crystals of Insight
- Status Points
The same applies here as with the items: Stockpile as much as you can for a smooth start.
But be prepared as with 1.0, the currencies and their importance may change again.
4 Tips for Restarting in 1.0
If you want to dive into the cold water again with the release of 1.0, consider restarting. Here are our tips on how to start over. Click on the titles or the arrow to learn more about each point.
Important: These are our tips based on the Early Access version. Once we have tested the 1.0 version, we will review the tips for accuracy again.
Store Rare or Important Pals in the Global Pal Box
The first tip is directly the one that says: Use your old save files!
If you don’t want to redo everything from scratch, like catching or breeding rare or powerful Pals, you can store them in the global Pal Box.
They will then wait for you to meet the requirements for their use in the new save file – such as unlocking the necessary saddle for riding.
Catch Everything That Isn’t Steel or Sturdy
Especially at the beginning, you will need many helping Pal hands to build your base and farm resources. Of course, there are always optimal and less optimal Pals for this, but at the start, it’s mainly about getting started.
Build Your First Base – No Matter Where
It’s almost irrelevant where you build your first base. The main thing is that you have one. Of course, you can move it later as well. What’s important is that you have enough space since some of the base buildings require a lot of space. If the location is also somewhat well-protected, such as with mountains behind you or something similar, you don’t have to fence in the entire camp during active raids.
However, choose an area where high-level Pals don’t immediately run into you.
Quickly Grab a Mount
To move around faster and better in the world of Palworld, you need a mount.
- Direhowl for normal travel
- Chillet for swimming travel
- Jetragon for flying
And especially important: Have fun! 1.0 is supposed to change a lot and bring new things – perhaps it will ultimately feel like a whole different game than before.
