You play Palworld on Steam or Xbox and want to level up particularly quickly? MeinMMO tells you how to gather a lot of experience points to level up quickly.
This is how you level up quickly in Palworld, sorted by best effect:

What is experience needed for?
Experience increases the level of you and your Pals. The higher your level, the more technologies and buildings you can unlock. You need many buildings if you want to upgrade your storage. Additionally, you gain a status point upon level up that you can distribute.
What is the highest level?
The maximum level in Palworld currently is 85 and applies to both your character and all Pals.
Why is level important?
You can only unlock certain buildings and abilities in the technology tree once you reach a certain level. Your Pals will always be downscaled to your level and cannot be stronger than you.
Catch Pals and Ring of Mercy
Especially at the beginning, it is worthwhile to catch Pals. This gives you by far the most experience points at the start. You get a special XP bonus for the first 12 Pals of a kind. After that, the experience points for each caught opponent decrease. Previously it was 10 Pals, but the developers have now increased the bonus to 12 Pals.
Catching Pals also gives you significantly more experience points than crafting items or defeating Pals. If you want to level up quickly, then catching is the best way to rank up in Palworld.
Therefore, do not defeat every Pal you encounter but catch many animals you see at the start. This way, you can quickly increase your level and gain access to better skills and new buildings.
In the starting zone, you mainly encounter Chikipi (chickens) and Lamball (sheep). You can level up quickly if you catch 12 of each. The level of the two Pals is also very low.
Find and recruit Omascul
The Pal Omascul (Dark Type) initially resembles a Ghibli monster and offers a strong team bonus. It buffs all experience points that the team collects.
The problem is: Omascul belongs to the rare and high-level monsters and therefore does not really help you in the early leveling phase. It can certainly be helpful in the last level section (level 55 to maximal level 65).
You can find the Pal in the southwestern part of the Feybreak island. It appears there as an alpha boss level 55 at the coordinates (-1184, -1490).
Complete bounties
Since the Feybreak update, you can complete bounties in Palworld. These targets can be found all over the overworld as world bosses and appear at fixed locations on the map. They are all aggressive and attack you immediately upon seeing you.
You can also gather very good experience points for yourself and your Pals with the bounties. Once you defeat them, the bounty targets will reappear after a certain time. This way, you can gather large amounts of experience points in a short time and increase your level.
Adjust server settings for more XP
The simplest and fastest method: Adjust your server to receive more experience points. You can do this with both a new server and an existing game. To do this, go to the settings and adjust the value accordingly.
The normal value is 1. You can increase this value up to 20, then you will get experience points very quickly. However, the game may also become very easy very quickly. In the worst case, you might spoil your own enjoyment of the game if you want some challenge.
Defeat bosses, alpha pals, and dungeons
You also gain a lot of experience points when you defeat bosses or fight raids. However, there is a catch: bosses and dungeons are designed for high-level players. If you manage to defeat them anyway, you will be rewarded with a lot of experience points.
Another option is to defeat alpha Pals. These are stronger and larger variants of the normal Pals that you can otherwise find and catch on the map. You also receive a significant experience points bonus here.

Tip: Place your base near a high-level opponent and then lure the boss Pal into your base. All Pals working in your base will help defend it against the intruder. This way, you can combine the combat power of half a dozen or more Pals to quickly take down the opponent. You can also combine the best types with strengths and weaknesses.
If your Pals are defeated in the boss fight, put them in your bank later. They will be revived after a cooldown.
