Why isn’t Rockstar doing anything about it? Rockstar has already released a patch that prevents the starting of the glitch. However, this has not yet stopped the active players. Since the release of Apex Legends, players have been reporting crashes. At least on PC, the random crashes should now be largely resolved. Nvidia has released a new Game Ready driver specifically for Apex Legends.

Which crashes are being fixed? After a patch in February already fixed some crashes, further problems are now being addressed. It specifically concerns the errors labeled with the code “DXGI_Error_Device_Hung,” which could occur on PC.
This primarily involves errors that could cause Apex Legends to crash randomly and sometimes without a specific error message. Players running Apex Legends on PC with an Nvidia graphics card should no longer be randomly thrown out of the game.
Additionally, a bug has been addressed that overly taxed the processor due to a specific component of the old driver.

How to check which version you are on: If you want to know whether you already have the new driver 419.35, simply open your GeForce Experience interface. Under the “Drivers” tab, you will find your currently installed version.
If you do not use Experience or prefer to check in the Nvidia Control Panel, you need to navigate to the “Help” tab here. Click on “System Information” and your driver version will be displayed at the top of the right list.
How to get the driver: If you check your version via Experience, you will have an update button right next to the version number, in case you do not already have the latest driver.
