What is a Raid Hour? Typically, this event takes place every Wednesday evening in Pokémon GO. For one hour, legendary raids appear at every available gym.
Today, the opponent Heatran is the focus for you. It has been available in Pokémon GO since yesterday, January 7.

What time does the Raid Hour start? The event starts at 6 PM local time. Heatran will then visit all gyms where no other raid is taking place at that time, taking over as the raid boss. If other raids finish before 7 PM, Heatran will also appear as a boss at those gyms.
Gyms that are currently distributing EX Raid invitations are excluded from this.
The best counters against Heatran: Your opponent is of Steel and Fire type, making it vulnerable to Fighting and Water Pokémon. It has a particular weakness against Ground attackers, so you should focus especially on attackers of this type.
Why should you participate? If you don’t have a Heatran in your collection, you should take advantage of the increased chance to catch at least one of these bosses today. However, it is more of a collector’s Pokémon, since Heatran is not particularly outstanding as an attacker.
For shiny collectors, today’s raid hour is also interesting, as Heatran can appear in its shiny version. Perhaps you will have luck catching and receive this rarer form.

On January 24th, a new card set from Magic the Gathering is being released: Theros – Beyond Death. In collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, we are showing you here at MeinMMO for the first time worldwide, two new spoiler cards from the upcoming set.

Loathsome Chimera
The card will be called “Loathsome Chimera” in English and has green mana. Here is the card:
What is special about the card? The creature Loathsome Chimera has the new ability Exile. Three other cards from your own graveyard are exiled. This can be practical when facing an opponent who interacts with other players’ graveyards and wants to steal cards from them.
The Loathsome Chimera exiles itself with a +1/+1 counter on it. Since it has a base value of 4/1, it can become a solid attacker. Exile is a new mechanic introduced in the Theros set.

Omen of the Dead
The enchantment is called “Omen of the Dead” in English and costs black mana. Here is the card:
What is special about the card? Omen of the Dead is suitable for a graveyard deck that thrives on interacting with its own graveyard. When the enchantment enters the battlefield, you can return a creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
Especially convenient is that the card has the ability Flash. This means this card can be played at any time like an instant spell. That is always good for a surprise!
For three mana, you can sacrifice the Omen of the Dead, for which you get Scry 2. This means you can look at the top two cards of your library. The cards can then be placed either on the top or bottom of the library in any order.

What happens in the story? In Theros, the pantheon of gods fights for the devotion of their mortal subjects. An important plot point will be the return of Klothys. He is the Therosian god of Destiny, who was previously trapped in the underworld of Theros.
When is the release of the new set? On January 24, 2020.
What does the set contain? The main set contains 254 cards, which may also include random premium versions of all cards.
What is special about Theros Beyond Death? The set introduces a new mechanic called Exile. Once a card with the Exile ability is in the graveyard, it can still be cast.
Exile offers alternative costs with two components: a specific amount of mana that must be paid and a number of other cards that must be exiled from your own graveyard.
This new mechanic fits the story of Theros: Beyond Death, as the boundaries to the underworld are blurring.
That’s why many are looking forward to the event: “Undaunted” focuses on dungeons and groups. It is essentially a typical MMORPG experience, as some would desire. Additionally, there is unusual loot that can only be obtained during this event.
Overall, many are excited about the rewards, which are quite generous. It is definitely worth participating in the event, as you will not only enjoy the fun in a group but also receive really interesting items as rewards – including the Indrik feathers for the popular Indrik mount. How to participate
When does it start? According to Zenimax, the “Undaunted Celebration” starts on Thursday, January 9, at 4:00 PM and runs until Monday, January 13, at 4:00 PM.
How to join? To participate in this event, enter the dungeons for four players by using the dungeon finder. You can also travel directly to the dungeon with your group. It doesn’t matter which difficulty you choose.
What do you have to do? You need to eliminate the bosses in the dungeons. Once you have defeated the last one, you will receive an Undaunted reward chest.
What does the chest contain? In the Undaunted reward chests, you will find items such as:

How to start the Exo Quest: We have already dealt with the start of the exotic quest. You just need to complete the Sundial activity. The difficulty does not matter.

You can also tackle the mission with a fireteam and save a significant amount of time. Not every fragment needs to be collected individually by each Guardian.
Locations of All 10 Fragments
Fragment 1: From your spawn point, head straight to the right. There you will find the first fragment at the end point of the pillar.
Fragment 2: Turn around and run back towards the spawn. There you will see a dark rock. Leaning against it is the next robot – thus also the second fragment.
Fragment 3: Proceed to the right. Between the inner and outer areas, the next fragment is waiting in the corner of a passage. The passage is marked from the outside with a large “4.”
Fragment 4: Next, head to the center of the map. On the upper level, there is an open container. Inside, the next broken robot is waiting. A large “3” is prominently displayed on the wall next to the container.
Fragment 5: From the container, head towards the B-flag. This is located in the protrusion in the middle of the map. Near the abyss, the next fragment is waiting for you.
Fragment 6: Jump from the previous location to the right over the abyss and look at the lower outer wall for your next goal.
Fragment 7: Now head into the inner map. Run to the other side of the map in the red area. At the foot of a small staircase, you will find the best hidden fragment of the quest.
Fragment 8: You will remain inside. Return towards the container and see a further robot leaning against a box in the central passage. Next to him is a door labeled with the number “5.”
Fragment 9: Now you need to go one level down. Here the heavy ammunition appears in the PvP match. On a platform lies the second to last fragment in the middle.
Fragment 10: Almost done, you stay on the lower level and look towards the edge of the map. Here there is a massive turret that also makes loud noises from time to time. Right under the cannon lies your last target.

This weapon is about: The exotic pistol “Devil’s Ruin” (eng. Devils Ruin) is a primary weapon for the energy slot. It does Solar damage and, with a fire rate of 300, belongs to the same category as the ritual weapon Bequest.
The Exotic has these special characteristics:
Closing the gap – Pulling and releasing the trigger fires single shots. Holding it down fires a laser that staggers enemies.
Pyrogenesis – Fully charging the laser refills the magazine from reserve.
Intrinsically, the pistol can stop and stagger unstoppable champions.
The weapon combines two weapon types in one sleek gun. Normally, you shoot with a pistol, which caused a small hype in Season 9. If you hold down the fire button, you activate an alternate mode and transform Devil’s Ruin into a type of fusion rifle.
After about a second of charging time, the pistol fires a laser beam. The charging time and the behavior of the beam resemble the characteristics of The One Thousand Voices. You just have to do without the massive explosion.
Devil’s Ruin thus continues the trend of creative exotics from Season 9. The powerful scout rifle Symmetry can also switch between two firing modes and has unique projectiles.

The WoW riddle about Jenafur has not yet been solved. But now Blizzard has finally given a hint and ignited new riddle fever.
For over three months, hundreds of players from the “Secret Finding” Discord server have been trying to solve the latest riddles in World of Warcraft. But for many weeks now, they have hit a dead end and have no idea how to find the next hint for Jenafur. Now Blizzard has apparently shown mercy and given a tip that can be found in the patch notes.
What riddle is it about? It is about the cat Jenafur, which players can already view in their pet guide. Jenafur is a cat with rather unusual abilities. Although she is a wild animal, she has abilities like “Tentacle Strike” or “Dark Resurrection” – abilities more suited to magical or elemental pets.
On the hunt for Jenafur – little cat treats are supposed to be a hint.
What tip has Blizzard given? Last night, a small hotfix was applied in World of Warcraft. This not only ended the anniversary event but also fixed minor bugs. One line in the patch notes caused a stir in the riddle community, as it states:

What is the new update about? On January 7th, the first Modern Warfare update of 2020 was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
This is not a large content drop; rather, the active playlists and modes in multiplayer of Modern Warfare have been refreshed, and there are some new items in the shop.
Modern Warfare January Update – What the Patch Notes Say
The update has been live since the evening of January 7th, shortly thereafter the corresponding patch notes on Twitter followed. The playlist update brought the following changes:
1vs1 Shootout (Gunfight): This mode is now playable as a standalone playlist. It does not replace the regular Gunfight; rather, it is an addition. The regular 2vs2 Gunfight can still be played.
1vs1 Shootout is a variation of the popular Gunfight mode, where players now battle in “1 against 1” duels on small, specially designed maps in intense skirmishes with changing loadouts. Especially solo players who do not want to be thrown together with others should enjoy this mode.
By the way, back in December 2019, Modern Warfare announced that various variations of Gunfight would be introduced, including 1vs1 and also 3vs3. Next up should therefore be the 3-on-3 format, after 1vs1 duels have now been introduced into the game.
The Shipment map
5vs5 Shipment 24/7: In the 24/7 format, the Shipment map now replaces the popular Shoothouse, which was introduced during Season 1. It can now be played around the clock in this playlist without map rotation.
Voices are already being heard, wishing for Shoothouse 24/7 to return immediately. The compact size, good sightlines, and intense battles in close quarters make Shoothouse one of the most popular, if not the most popular map in Modern Warfare.
The even smaller Shipment, on the other hand, is seen by many as a pure fun map that, while it’s enjoyable for a few rounds, quickly loses its appeal over time. Some players also find Shipment too hectic.
Weapon Game (Gun Game): Weapon Game is now available as a playlist and replaces the Grind mode. In the popular Gun Game, everyone fights against each other in a deathmatch format and works their way through the arsenal of Modern Warfare.
Each player starts with the same weapon, and kills with one weapon grant the next. The first to work through the randomly selected weapon set wins the round.
What else is new? With the January update, new bundles have also been added to the game. You can now view these in the in-game shop.
Additionally, there will be double XP, meaning double the amount of experience points, from January 10th (7:00 PM) to January 13th (7:00 PM). So if you still have some ranks to catch up in the Battle Pass – this is your chance.
What do you think of these changes at the beginning of the year?
The frustration in WoW Classic remains, especially in PvP. But what changes are the players actually hoping for?
For some players of WoW Classic, the rose-colored glasses have shattered and the dream of a feel “like it was back in Vanilla” is long gone. This is particularly evident among PvP fans, who are currently mostly only active in Alterac Valley. The experience here is not only plagued by pesky bots, but also by the fact that fundamentally, it is only a PvE race to the final boss happening.
In the WoW Classic subreddit, there is ongoing discussion about this issue, and several reasons have been identified. It is therefore not only due to the changed optimization drive of the players but also to Blizzard’s decisions.
What is being criticized? The biggest criticism of the user Haptiix, who receives much support in the WoW Classic subreddit, is the state of Alterac Valley. Alterac Valley was released in the version that was present at the time of Patch 1.12 and literally floods the players with honor without actual PvP battles being necessary.
When this version of Alterac Valley was introduced into the “Vanilla” version of WoW, raids like the Blackwing Lair, Ahn’Quiraj, and Naxxramas were already open. The powerful PvP gear barely played a role there, as there were other ways to obtain good equipment.
Because of this power level of the gear, many players try to gain honor as effectively as possible and often resort to using bots.
How strong is the gear? The PvP gear is among the strongest items that players can obtain in WoW Classic – at least at the current phase.
Only with the release of Ahn’Qiraj will the armor from ranks 12 to 14 slowly be outclassed, until it is even completely replaced in Naxxramas. However, it will likely take some time before these contents are released.
This ensures that the PvP armor will for a while be the “non plus ultra” and trivializes other content for these characters.
Voices from the community: Many players agree with the post creator and lament that PvP in Classic could have been a great deal of fun. MySojuBottle writes:
All my friends talked about how great the PvP would be and how PvE would only help to get better at PvP. They talked about how we would play as a premade group after the release of the battlegrounds and spend every night in Warsong Gulch. That was supposed to be the best part of Classic.
Well, none of those people are doing battlegrounds or playing PvP at all now; they just log in for raids. Everyone talked about how wonderful it would be, and now I see hardly anyone playing battlegrounds to have fun. Instead of signing on together with friends at night, I guess the few people on my friends list who actually still play PvP are just afk, watching Netflix, and have no desire to play with others.
However, there are also players who see it more lightly, like Hornsmasher:
Hey, if people want to farm honor as if they have no life to get the “best in slot” gear to master raids that won’t bring them loot anyway next year and then quit the game… who are we to stop them?
But how do you see it? Is the current Alterac Valley beneficial for WoW Classic, especially in combination with the strong rewards? Or should they have waited?
After the end of the Skywalker saga in theaters, the end of Star Wars in Fortnite has also come. However, the corresponding patch accidentally removed a bit too much.

Are the lightsabers gone forever? The lightsabers were viewed with mixed feelings in the community. While some loved them, for others they were an object that should disappear from the game as quickly as possible.

How much Pokémon is in the first minutes of Temtem?
This is how your journey in Temtem starts: The game begins with a quite extensive character editor, where you can set the appearance of your character. There are already a few more options at the start than in Pokémon Shield & Sword – although the character can also be customized throughout the game with the help of shops.
The next scene might seem familiar to many Pokémon fans: The journey starts in the protagonist’s room. Here, a dialogue with the character “Aina” begins, which at least gives you a few response options. Then you receive your “Tempedia” – basically the equivalent of the Pokédex.
In front of the door, you will be seen off by various friends and acquaintances of your character before the great journey begins. Among them are your character’s best friend and Professor Konstantinos – elements that should also be familiar to Pokémon fans.
A start like in a Pokémon game: In the professor’s lab, you then get to choose one of three starters. With this, you will soon start your journey – of course, with a duel against your rival.
Even the rest of the journey to the “Academy” that your character is supposed to visit resembles the Pokémon games noticeably. Differences are mainly noticeable in the dialogue options, as well as, of course, in the online component. After all, in Temtem you not only meet NPCs like in the case of Pokémon, but play together with other trainers.
There is also a nice visual style that resembles a bit of a hybrid between Pokémon and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, along with a first impression of the soundscape in the game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare allows you to build your own weapon setups. Some of these can be really strong, even if the base weapon is rather under the radar. We present you a really strong build for the Oden.
What kind of build is this? The build enhances the Oden and ensures that the assault rifle deals a lot of damage.
The Oden already has a lower rate of fire and higher damage than other assault rifles. This build further improves these characteristics.
The “OP Build” for the Oden
Here’s how to assemble the weapon: For the build, you need all five equipment slots that the gunsmith provides you for mods. Build the weapon as follows:
Base weapon: Oden
Muzzle: Silencer (Colossus)
Barrel: Oden Factory 810 mm
Stock: FTAC XL Elite Chassis
Underbarrel: Tactical Foregrip
Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Instead of the underbarrel, you can also use perks like Extra: Fragile – Impair or ammunition: 30-round magazine. The latter further decreases your ADS speed, which is already a major drawback of the weapon.
Which perks should I take? To complete the build, it’s best to choose the following perks and equipment:

Strengths and weaknesses of the build
Here’s how the setup works: With this build, you can kill opponents at almost any range on any map with 3 body shots. A headshot even reduces the required hits to two.
Your strength lies at medium and medium to long distances. Since you don’t use a scope, hitting at greater ranges becomes harder and the Oden is less effective from there on.
The best multiplayer modes for the setup are tactical modes like Headquarters, Cyber Attack, and Search & Destroy. Medium and larger maps like Aniyah Palace, Euphrates Bridge, Grazhna Raid, and St. Petrograd are also ideal.
Thanks to the silencer, you are harder to detect, which means that in tighter areas you won’t be overwhelmed immediately. How suppressors work, we’ve explained in this special.
Here are your weaknesses: As strong as you are at your distance, you are weak at all others. The build is exceptionally slow, so you should definitely not rush. Leave that to teammates, whom you can then provide fire support.
Play carefully and mount the weapon.
As the Oden generally has low ammo and a small reserve magazine, your shots should count. Play carefully, use the mounting feature of the weapon, and guard an area rather than trying to take it by force.

How strong is the weapon: The Oden is strong in this build and outshines many assault rifles. However, due to the lack of all-round capabilities, it cannot compete with the M4A1 as the strongest weapon of its class.

The developers of Escape from Tarkov talk about why there are so few women in the game. First, there was a statement from which they distanced themselves. Now there is a new reason.
What happened? Battlestate Games, the developers of the shooter Escape from Tarkov, released a new statement about why there are so few female characters in the game and why players cannot play as them.
This follows after a statement was made back in 2016. At that time, a representative of the game said in an interview with Wccftech that they considered including women as playable characters. ” … but we concluded that women cannot handle so much stress. There is only room for hardened men here.”
Following the new hype around the hardcore shooter, this statement was brought back to light by players. They confronted the developers on Twitter about it. Battlestate Games has now released a new statement on January 6.

Meet these requirements: At level 30, you and your partner should already be best friends. It is possible with lower levels, but it will be significantly harder. You have a total of 5 Pokémon to choose from here.

How difficult will the battle be? If you use the top counters, then the duo will also be manageable at level 30. If you want to experiment with slightly weaker Pokémon, it might get a bit tighter.
This is interesting to see: Only Ground type Pokémon can manage to defeat Heatran in a duo. This is due to Heatran’s double weakness against Ground. So take full advantage of this weakness and only use Water or Fighting Pokémon when using three.

What is it about? Since December 2019, the Casino Heist in GTA Online has been available for you. With your player crew of 2-4 players, you have three different options to master this heist: Silent and Sneaky, Big Con, or Aggressive.
Each time, you also choose a shooter, a driver, and a hacker as NPCs. They are differently skilled and cost you different amounts of money. They take a share (a cut) of the big profit you make from the Casino Heist.
In this post, we want to show you what the advantages and disadvantages of the characters are and which you should choose for the different approaches.
Which shooter for Casino Heist?
What shooters are there?
Chester McCoy – Expert – 10 % share
Gustavo Mota – Expert – 9 % share
Patrick McReary – Expert – 8 % share

Karl Abolaji – Bad – 5 % share
Which one is worth it for Aggressive? You choose the shooter depending on the approach. If you go for the loud, aggressive heist, it pays off to take an expensive shooter. In this case, we recommend Patrick “Packie” McReary. He provides you with heavy machine guns during the heist, which makes it significantly easier for you.
Which one is worth it for Silent and Big Con? For the approaches where you need to remain undetected, we recommend the cheapest shooter available. The reason is that you aren’t supposed to shoot at all. You only use your weapons to knock out opponents in close combat. Therefore, it would be pointless to spend more money on the shooter.
Which driver for Casino Heist?
What drivers are there?

Which one is worth it? In all three heist options (Silent and Sneaky, Big Con, Aggressive), we recommend Karim Denz as a driver. By choosing the driver, the getaway vehicles you have available change. The Sentinel from Karim’s selection is a good getaway vehicle for 2 players.
More expensive drivers offer you cars that are somewhat faster and even provide 4 seats. This includes the armored Zhaba. However, this is irrelevant for now, as you can simply escape into the sewer tunnels located directly behind the casino. You can quickly get rid of the cops there.
Faster cars are really only important if you want to complete the time challenge of the heist.
If that’s not the case, we always recommend the cheapest driver here.
Which one is worth it? The choice of a hacker should always be on an expert. The simple reason is that you get more time in the vault. If you save on the hacker, you have less time to steal money, gold, or art pieces in the Casino Heist. So the question is:
Avi Schwartzman
or Paige Harris?
The difference between these two hackers is not particularly large. With Paige, you have about 3 minutes and 25 seconds in the vault. Avi Schwartzman gives you about 4-5 seconds more time. That can be important if you need a bit more time at the fingerprint scanners.
So if you can steal enough loot in those extra 5 seconds with Avi Schwartzman, the percent extra share is worth it. Otherwise, go with Paige. It’s entirely up to you.
The players of Dead by Daylight are currently going up in arms and letting their hatred run free. Fair enough, finds Cortyn.
The Dead by Daylight community is currently in turmoil, the subreddit is full of memes, complaints, and also increasingly rude attacks on the developers. This is about a patch that has not even been released. However, how the makers of Dead by Daylight justify their changes just makes me want to bury my face in my hands. I agree with the players’ criticism on almost all points and want to vent my displeasure here and show why Behaviour is currently treading a path from which they will not be able to escape.
What is happening in Dead by Daylight?
Before I get to my little “rant,” I want to first state the facts of the upcoming patch:
This is how Hex: Ruin currently is: The upcoming patch brings some changes to the perk “Hex: Ruin” (in English “Hex: Ruin”), arguably the most popular killer perk so far. In high ranks, it is used in over 80% of all cases. So far, the perk ensures that survivors receive difficult skill checks on generators that either set back progress or do not grant bonus progress if completed perfectly. The perk is deactivated once the associated totem is destroyed by a survivor.
Hex: Ruin is still useful – for now.
This is how Hex: Ruin is supposed to be: In the future, Hex: Ruin will no longer affect the survivors’ skill checks but will impact all generators that are currently not being worked on. These generators will then automatically regress, even without the killer touching them. We have explained this in more detail here.
The developers justify these changes by claiming that new players would have a particularly hard time with Hex: Ruin. New survivors might get frustrated by Hex: Ruin quickly and wouldn’t be a big help to their team if they are put off by the red, difficult skill checks. In “internal playtests,” it has been shown that the revised Ruin is not so dramatic for new survivors and would not diminish the fun of the game.
And here comes a newsflash: New players are not bad because Ruin is present in games. They are bad because they are new and have not yet mastered the mechanics. They do not yet know that when hearing the terror radius they should not panic and run away. They cannot yet accurately assess the environment, the threat, and the actions in the game. Dead by Daylight has a steep learning curve that one must overcome. It is not always easy, but it forms survivors over time who understand and can handle their tasks.
I can understand the desire to make it easier for new survivors to get started. But this is a giant step in the wrong direction.
The entire perk is being changed so that it is no longer frustrating for new players. However, Behaviour is losing sight of the core community of long-standing players. The changes ensure that Hex: Ruin has no significance in matches with somewhat experienced players.
After all, Hex: Ruin was just a “band-aid” to fix perhaps the biggest problem of Dead by Daylight: the duration of matches.
