To cause as much damage as possible for the upcoming expedition, a duo set out to locate one of the biggest adversaries in ARC Raiders. In a clip, they show how they managed to deal the most damage in the round in 66 seconds.
What did the duo achieve? The player Wooden_Technology_58 posted a clip from ARC Raiders on Reddit, where he and another teammate inflicted over 16,000 damage in just 66 seconds: With 28 Wolfpack grenades and a Deadline mine, the two were able to take down a Queen, the largest ARC in the game.
Here is the video evidence:
They managed to inflict 16,071 out of 16,169 damage (the maximum possible damage in a round) in about a minute, which especially helps them in earning the required skill points for the expedition. This is because players now need to deal up to 100,000 damage to gain 5 extra skill points.
Wolfpacks are the best friend
How did they manage to do this as a duo? In fact, the duo only used the packed Wolfpack grenades and a final Deadline when the opportunity arose to fight against the Queen.
When throwing a Wolfpack grenade, it splits into homing rockets that fly towards the ARC and cause explosive damage upon impact. The Queen could take a total of 28 of these units.
Unfortunately, the items are not that easy to obtain. With a bit of luck, players can find the appropriate blueprints and craft them with the necessary materials.
If you do not own the blueprints, you need to patiently search all possible containers and ARCs and rely on luck or good karma.
The Deadline can at least be purchased once a day for a mere 18,000 credits from Apollo.
What does the community say about the clip? The community is especially impressed by the speed and the duo’s ability to come out alive from the action.
However, they point out to the player that he did not necessarily have to move the remaining Wolfpacks into the inventory for quick use. He could have just spammed the throw, as the game automatically refills the slot when the item is actively used (similar to bandages and other healing items).
Then the two players would have likely taken down the Queen in an even shorter time.
The two players entered the match as a well-coordinated duo to deal as much damage as possible. However, it is also common for two completely random players to encounter each other, as in this unforgettable but tragic encounter: “I just want people to see this” – Players from Russia and Ukraine discuss their sad reality in ARC Raiders
