FIFA 21 Title Update 11 – Here are the patch notes
As in the last Title Update 10, the patch notes are quite brief this time as well. In addition to a somewhat larger change, various bugs in the different game modes will be fixed.
What’s new now: With the new Title Update 11, EA introduces an input overlay option that can be activated in the game settings. With this option, you can observe your key inputs in-game and see when they are processed in online matches.
There are the following options:
Input Only: A controller graphic will be visible on the screen, showing which buttons you have pressed.
Input Only + Online Response: 2 controller graphics will be displayed. One shows your key inputs, and the other shows when the FIFA Game Data Center processed the inputs.
Off: The overlay is deactivated.
What’s changing in Ultimate Team: These changes mainly involve corrections of display errors, especially in the menus.
Unlocked tasks were sometimes shown as locked even though they were unlocked.
After a squad battles match, the correct coin reward was not always displayed.
A display error in the co-op lobby has been fixed, where player models were visible in the background.
Search filters in the FUT stadium menu displayed the wrong text.
The players of World of Warcraft are disappointed. Because Blizzard will no longer give them something many have long been waiting for: New character customizations.
Overall, the presentation of the new content for World of Warcraft at BlizzCon went smoothly. Sure, some of the content was leaked beforehand, but the great cinematic and the prospect of a new raid made up for a lot. However, in the forum and on the subreddit, there is still a lot of dissatisfaction.
The reason for this lay in the Q&A, which contained a response from the developers that many players found hard to swallow.
We will not bring new character customizations in Shadowlands.
Ely Cannon
What was said? During the Q&A, the following question arose: “Will there be more new character customizations in Shadowlands?” The questioner refers to skin colors, hairstyles, and other cosmetic adjustments. Ely Cannon, the Art Director, responded:
We will not add more character customizations in Shadowlands. Let me explain. We believe we have added quite a good amount of customizations. We tried to add things for almost all races; only very few didn’t get as many. And those are things we will address in the future; to look at what we can do for the races that haven’t received as much.
We are trying to approach this carefully and thoughtfully. […] These are projects that are quite large. We want to make sure we invest the necessary time into them and think them through well, and that we release new customizations when it’s really good for the game and the players. And that has to happen in parallel with new content.

This is how WoW fans are reacting on reddit: The statement led to Blizzard facing a lot of criticism. In recent days, several posts on reddit have gained traction, many of which had 8,000 or more upvotes – clearly a topic that has heated the community.
Most are disappointed, especially regarding the Nightborne race. Many feel they’re not well executed. On one hand, they don’t look much like the Nightborne NPCs in Suramar, and on the other hand, they have by far the fewest customization options – there are only a handful of options each. While Humans, Elves, and Orcs now have many details and possibilities, Nightborne often still look identical.
This also led to a number of memes appearing, like this one:
But even players who favor other races in WoW are dissatisfied. Many players find it illogical that Void Elves do not have all the customizations of Blood Elves – such as ear size (Link to WoW Reddit). There’s no sensible explanation for this, either from a developer or story perspective.
How could it be better? One player was particularly upset. The Reddit user keyboardturn explained that he had taught himself character customizations and similar things using the WoW models.
On average, he only needs 10-15 minutes to transfer a hairstyle from one race to another. If Blizzard claims it takes a lot of time, then that is simply a lie.

There are also numerous comments under this post about how dissatisfied people are with Blizzard’s decision and how this has dealt a clear blow to BlizzCon.
Would you have liked even more character customizations? Or are you satisfied with what Blizzard has already brought in Shadowlands?
The streamer 4Conner has ended his career on Twitch and has vanished from social media after 36 screenshots of private messages from Discord became known: He admits that in the chats he behaved racially, transphobically, homophobically, and anti-Semitically.
What kind of streamer is he? 4Conner streams on average in front of about 420 people, most of the time he is in “Just Chatting”. When he plays, he plays games like Rocket League or Teamfight Tactics. He even reached partner status on Twitch, meaning he can earn money with the platform. Basically, he is just a normal, medium-sized streamer on Twitch who streams about 3 to 4 hours a day.
However, in the last few days, his channel has come into the public eye. But not in the way 4Conner would like. Two of his clips now have 100,000 and 50,000 views, but both clips are about his departure from Twitch. And it is not pretty.
36 terrible screenshots from Discord leak
This is what leaked: Someone uploaded 36 screenshots of Discord messages to imgur on February 20. The screenshots show messages and images from 4Conner, where he posts memes, including one where Spiderman makes the Hitler salute. He poses in front of a flag of the Confederacy, which fought in the American Civil War for the preservation of slavery. He makes derogatory comments about Jews, transgender individuals, and repeatedly about Black people (via imgur):
In one image, a sniper aims at a Black child
In another, one can see the photo of a Black man with the text “That would be racist if Black people could read”
In another meme, it reads: “There are 33 genders: 2 genders and 31 ways to be queer”

This is how 4Conner reacts: He apologized on Twitch for his behavior on Sunday. He said:
In my mind, they were all just jokes. I never wanted to hurt anyone. What I said was terrible. Ultimately, I was racist, I was transphobic, I was homophobic, I was anti-Semitic.
4Conner
4Conner then says he left the Discord server where he was writing some time ago. The group there was “too edgy” for him.
At the end of his stream, he announced that he would not stream on Twitch anymore. He also deactivated his Twitter account.
He has withdrawn from everything.
Other incidents where Twitch streamers have shown real problems:
When are these screenshots from? By the way, his exit from the Discord server cannot have been long ago. Although most racist posts came from 2017 and 2018, there is still a post from July 2020: “I can’t even imagine being publicly racist – I mean, what advantages would that have?”
The decision to appear publicly as a racist has apparently been taken from him by the leaker.
After so much negative news about Twitch, one should also emphasize the positive sides of the platform. Because there is also a lot of nice things there:
With Warhammer: Odyssey, a new mobile MMORPG for Android and later iOS has launched. We explain how it is received by players.
What is Warhammer: Odyssey? It is a classic MMORPG where you explore the dark world of the Warhammer universe. The game is inspired by online role-playing games like Neverwinter and allows you to explore areas filled with monster battles and quests.
Your hero is customizable and belongs to one of the 6 classes – Archmage, Shadow Warrior, Witch Hunter, Warrior Priest, Slayer, Engineer –
In quests and side missions, you encounter well-known characters from the Warhammer games
Adventures await you in many locations familiar to Warhammer fans, including the Drakwald Forest and the city of Marienburg
You can create a guild and support each other
There is no autoplay, you have to play everything actively yourself
https://youtu.be/djbMNZtEiqM
The trailer for Warhammer: Odyssey gets you excited for the adventure.
Warhammer is back as a mobile MMORPG
When did the game launch? The global release took place on February 22. You can download Warhammer: Odyssey now from the Google Play Store. As of February 23 at 10:00 AM, the MMORPG was not yet available in the Apple App Store. It was still under review.
Is it possible to play in German? Currently, Warhammer: Odyssey is only available in English. The team has already stated they are considering localizations in other languages after the launch, depending on community demand.
How is the game received? The ratings in the Google Play Store currently (as of February 23 at 10:00 AM) stand at 1,440 votes and 3.5 out of 5 stars.
The game is praised mainly for the Warhammer feel, no pay-to-win, and the absence of autoplay. Criticism, however, is directed at technical issues and the rather weak quests.
Here we summarize a few comments from the Google Play Store, Twitter, and Reddit for you:
The twelfth country writes in the Google Play Store: “I joined today, I love it! I have been waiting a long time for a game like this. No pay-to-win, no auto run/fight, pure Warhammer online feel, and they will surely fix the initial teething problems. Of course, I’m playing a Slayer, just like back then! Thanks to the developers, keep it up!”
Man-Creature comments on Reddit: “Since I had no experience with Warhammer before, I’m having a lot of fun!”
Luis Calderon explains on Twitter: “I’ve been playing for a while and find it great. I wish the movement speed was a bit higher, but there are many quests. It’s fun so far.”
ABC 123 writes in the Google Play Store about some technical issues: “Currently unplayable. I get kicked out of the game after a few seconds. Too bad, I’ve been looking forward to the soft launch for months.”
MCHAST gives a detailed account on Reddit: “I will give my honest feedback as someone who has played a lot of live-service games and spent years playing MMOs, as well as other Warhammer games. The game is nowhere near as good as I had hoped. There are only two things to do in this game. Fetch quests and grinding mobs. ‘World bosses’ belong to the latter, and selling things in the auction house is not content. I’m not saying that grinding mobs is bad. Some people enjoy it, especially MMO veterans. But the reason it’s bad is that it’s all there is to do. So far, I believe this is a weak game. Not necessarily bad, considering what kind of launch it is, but it leaves a lot to be desired.”
Have you had the chance to check out Warhammer: Odyssey? What do you think of the mobile MMORPG?
In Europe and America, however, teams dominated by older players are more common:
Caps is the youngest player at G2 Esports, the strongest team in Europe in recent years, at 21 years old. His teammates Rekkles and Jankos are already 24 and 25 years old, respectively.
Team SoloMid won the American league in the summer of 2020 and traveled to the World Championship as the first-place team from their region. They competed with veterans Doublelift (27 years), Bjergsen (25 years), Biofrost (24 years), and Treatz (24 years). The result was a 0:6 in the group stage and a humiliating elimination.
America has the reputation of buying veterans from other regions and giving them “retirement contracts.” Although there are no international titles at stake, there is a lot of money involved, such as with the 6-million deal for Swordart.
“When Faker says it doesn’t hurt, then it doesn’t”
Does age matter now? In another interview, Invenglobal spoke with Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon, the new jungler at T1, Faker’s team. He just turned 18 in December 2020.
He was also asked about Faker’s statement and responded with the following remark:
Faker has been playing for so long – if Faker says that age does not harm mechanics, then it does not (laughs). I believe I would have to feel it by playing for long periods. I’m not sure yet if skills decline due to aging, or if you can improve through hard work.
This statement reflects a certain respect as well. Faker is a real superstar in Korea. There are even politicians who want to change laws for him. Technically, the LoL pro should now serve in the military in Korea.
Whether Oner, as an 18-year-old, can accurately assess the issue of age in LoL is questionable.
Uzi ended his LoL career.
However, there are also professionals who have significantly declined with age. One of the most negative examples is probably Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao. His doctor told him that he supposedly has arms like a 50-year-old at just 23. Therefore, he ended his career in the summer of 2020:
The fact is that currently no professional LoL player who even remotely competes for the world championship title is older than 27. Whether Faker will surpass this age and perhaps even reach 30 will only be revealed in the coming years.
Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok turns 25 this year and is among the oldest active players in the professional scene of League of Legends. In an interview, he claimed that age has no impact on his performance in the game. And because he is Faker, he received immediate agreement.
From the player’s perspective, however, age seems to play no role yet, and he even sees the opportunity to improve:
When I discuss this based entirely on my own experience, I rarely feel that my gameplay has declined due to my age. I have been a pro gamer for nine years, and since I sit most of the time, I don’t think my health is always in the best condition.
Apart from that part, I think it’s not much different, and I believe that I could still improve depending on my effort.
With this, Faker argues against the notion that you must be young to be successful in e-sports. Especially in LoL, players aged 26 or 27 are already seen as “veterans”.
Faker aims to dispel stereotypes by winning the World Championship
What does Faker say about age? In the interview, Faker further explains that while the average age of pro gamers is still very low, this could change in the future.
He himself wants to tackle this stereotype by winning the World Championship:
The average age of pro gamers is still young, but I think it will rise in the future. To break the stereotype, I believe the only way is to win the World Championship again as a pro gamer. The best way is to work harder to achieve that goal.
However, he has not succeeded in doing so in recent years. In 2016, T1 won the last World Championship, in 2017 they managed to secure second place. In 2018 and 2020, they did not even qualify, and in 2019, they lost to G2 Esports in the semifinals.
You can see how Faker dominated e-sports in LoL for a long time on the YouTube account theScore esports. There, the best “plays” from 2013 to 2018 have been compiled:

Are LoL pros really that young? Especially in the regions of China and Korea, which have won world championships in recent years, there is a strong focus on young players:
Faker himself began his professional career in 2013, at just 17 years old. In the same year, he became world champion with his team T1.
In the 2019 World Championship, FunPlus Phoenix’s 19-year-old Tian dominated the jungle. He was named MVP, the most valuable player of the World Championship.
In 2020, the team DAMWON became world champions. A significant contributor to this was the jungler Canyon. He was 19 years old during the tournament and was also named MVP.
Most teams tend to dominate when they combine one or two experienced veterans with young, strong talents. That’s exactly what Faker’s team T1 is currently trying to do. Alongside him play talents like Zeus (17 years), Ellim (19 years), Clozer (17 years), Keria (18 years), and Oner (18 years).
In Europe and America, however, teams dominated by older players are more common:

In Pokémon GO a new legendary season will start in March 2021. It will focus on the Therian forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus.
This is happening in March: The festive season in Pokémon GO runs until March 1st. But in a few days, a completely new season will begin. In English, it is called the “Season of Legends” and primarily revolves around 3 legendary Pokémon.
But a lot of other things are changing in the game as well. There are different Pokémon in eggs and in the wild. We will present all the changes here.
Contents of the Legendary Season
How long will the season last? Starting from March 1st at 8:00 AM local time, the legendary season will begin. For 3 months, until June 1st, you will benefit from it.
These legendary Pokémon are coming: Niantic announces the Therian forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. These forms have never been available in Pokémon GO before, only the Incarnate forms could be caught.
However, there are no precise dates for when the 3 legendary Pokémon will appear. Instead, Niantic announced that possibly more legendary Pokémon will debut in the game later in the season.
So you should save your raid passes and invest them in the new Pokémon.
This is happening in the wild: Here too, there are major changes! The Trash Bag seems to be disappearing and making way for other monsters:
Mantine and Wailmer appear near water – this is Wailmer’s first appearance in the wild.
Voltorb and Charmander appear in cities.
Seedot is expected to appear in forest areas.
In the northern hemisphere, which includes Germany, the following monsters will appear: Tangela, Trubbish, Glameow, Piplup, Turtwig, Pansear, Piplup, Spring-Sawk, Scyther, Dratini, and Swablu.
In the southern hemisphere, the following monsters will appear: Mankey, Yanma, Bamelin, Fleknoil, Serpifeu, Flabébé, Oshawott, Autumn-Sawk, Tannza, Dratini, and Combusken.
So in Germany, primarily Pokémon that fit spring are appearing. Tangela is a quite rare monster that is likely to appear more frequently now.
This is happening with the eggs: There are several changes. Each egg pool will be revised:
In 2-km eggs, you will find Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, and Budew.
In 5-km eggs, you will find Surskit, Azurill, and Swablu.
In 10-km eggs, you will find Nincada and Mamolida.
This special research is available: Professor Willow also needs your help this season and is researching the new legendary Pokémon. If you complete the special research, you will receive candies for Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Additionally, further bonuses are expected to be available.
These bonuses are available: Throughout the entire 3 months, there will also be additional bonuses that will be unlocked. Thus you can earn even more XP from level 5 raids. You can take advantage of this to gather XP for leveling up.
Moreover, there will be regular free remote raid passes. Niantic will provide more information about this later.
What else is known? The Community Day in March is also already known. There, Dartiri awaits you and you can catch the bird Pokémon for the first time as Shiny.
Additionally, in the coming days, events for the month of March will be announced. We can certainly look forward to new spotlight hours and events again.

The open-world game Watch Dogs Legion will feature a multiplayer mode with co-op in addition to the single-player campaign. But when will this mode arrive, how will the gameplay work, and what missions and modes are available? Find out here at MeinMMO.
Update February 23, 2021: It has now been announced that the co-op mode will be released with a free update on March 9, 2021. This update includes:
Open world co-op
4-player operations
8-player Spider Bot Arena
When is the release of the co-op mode? First things first: The multiplayer mode of Watch Dogs Legion is not implemented at the release of the game. The developers at Ubisoft will introduce this mode later in 2021. This update is free, and from then on the multiplayer mode will be available.
Still, we can explain to you how the mode will work and what features will be available.
Everything about the gameplay in the upcoming multiplayer co-op
How many players are involved? The group size in the co-op of Watch Dogs Legion is four. You can take up to three friends with you. You recruit your characters from the population of London, just like in the base game. It doesn’t matter who you play. If you want, you can embody a gang of rowdy hooligans or a tea party of killer grandmas. Whether that’s tactically smart is another matter.
Can you play the story campaign in co-op? No, the co-op campaign is a completely separate mode that has nothing to do with the main game. You cannot transfer your characters from the single-player mode to co-op.
Just imagine the multiplayer mode of Watch Dogs Legion like GTA Online, which also exists separately from the story campaign.
You can recruit characters in multiplayer right off the street.
How does the open world work in multiplayer? Essentially, Watch Dogs plays in co-op like in solo mode. Moreover, random events frequently occur in London that you can participate in. Due to the unpredictability and inherent chaos of Watch Dogs Legion, every trip to London can become a unique experience.
In co-op, the recruitment missions from the solo mode are omitted. Your characters will thus be recruited right off the street for your hacker collective. However, you need influence points, which you earn from missions. You can learn more about this in the following paragraph.
These co-op missions and PvP modes are coming
What co-op missions are available? The missions allow you to exert influence on the game world and also provide you with influence points with which you can recruit new and better recruits for your freedom fight. In addition to the random events, there are two types of missions that require a bit more skill and coordination.
In regular co-op missions, you have a specific objective and must demonstrate a minimum amount of teamwork to accomplish it satisfactorily.
For those who prefer a bit more challenge, you can take on Tactical Ops. These require a team of four players who actually need to divide the tasks. One player must distract the guards, another hacks the security monitors, and another player sneaks through the shadows.
There is also PvP in Watch Dogs Legion.
What about PvP? In PvP, the developers have come up with something special. The highlight here is certainly the Spider Bot Arena. Your spider robots compete against each other in a kind of robot death match.
Those who know earlier Watch Dogs games may be familiar with the invasion mode. There, other players invade your area and try to hack you. You must prevent this, and in a wild game of cat and mouse, you pursue the intruders and eliminate them before they can cause too much damage.
Who knows: In the end, we might see a joint video from Linus and xQc where they build a PC together.
The Twitch streamer xQc has great difficulty assembling his PC.
Linus and xQc are two well-known figures on YouTube and Twitch
Who is xQc? The Twitch streamer xQc was the most-watched streamer on Twitch last year. He is active on Twitch almost daily, but he is also a Twitch pioneer and mainly reaches young viewers with his quirky style. He is frequently on “Just Chatting”, where he also built his gaming PC.
Who is Linus? Linus Sebastian is the head of Linus Tech Tips, one of the most recognized tech channels on YouTube. Linus founded the channel in 2008 and now has around 13 million subscribers (as of February 22, 2021).
On his YouTube channel, Linus Sebastian comments on gaming PCs, graphics cards, or basically everything related to technology, either alone or with guests.
Almost everyone who is interested in hardware or technology has surely come across videos from “Linus Tech Tips” and has obtained tips or advice from here.
Are you looking for a guide on building a PC? If you want to build a PC yourself and are looking for a comprehensive guide, check here. GameStar shows you step by step how to build a PC and what you need to consider.
For a user who is building a computer for the first time, xQc is visibly overwhelmed by the many parts, steps, and the case.
Linus comments on the video because the community won’t leave him alone
This is why Linus commented on the video: xQc had apparently asked Linus for support for his new build. But after Linus offered help, the Twitch streamer did not get back to him.
Only when Linus was back on YouTube and people wouldn’t stop talking about xQc’s new computer, did Linus become curious and had to watch the video.
“I’m usually not someone who makes fun of others when they have a bad day,” Linus explained at the beginning of his video. But the discussion had prompted him to take a closer look at the “terrible setup,” as some called it.
This is how the community reacts: The YouTube video has now been viewed more than 1.3 million times. And the community is excited about Linus’ reaction (as of February 23, 2021)
So far, 112,263 people have rated the video positively.
2,603 people did not like Linus’ reaction.
Even under the YouTube video of Linus Tech Tips, there are many comments. By now (as of February 23, 2021) there are 11,352 comments under the YouTube video. His fair reaction to xQc’s difficulties is especially praised:
“The first time I’ve seen him (Linus) so nervous watching someone build PCs. Now he knows how we feel!”
Another comment reads: “I love that Linus doesn’t make fun of him. He just slowly loses his patience with him (xQc).”
And another adds: “I appreciate that Linus doesn’t complain about everything xQc does, like many other videos, and instead gives him fair criticism.”
Some users also refer to a computer from the magazine “The Verge”. Here, a similarly bad PC had been built, which Linus had also commented on.
What happens next? At the end of his video, Linus explains that his offer of assistance for the Twitch streamer still stands. If xQc needs help with his new PC, he should feel free to contact him directly:
So Felix, if you’re watching this, my offer still stands. I would love to help you out with this. We can get your case working. You can destroy your case, donate it, or buy a new one. But let me know, because I am here for you, my Canadian friend.
Who knows: In the end, we might see a joint video from Linus and xQc where they build a PC together.

“Linus Tech Tips” is one of the most recognized tech channels on YouTube. It has specialized in hardware. Now it has taken a look at how Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel builds his PC and is shocked. In the end, Linus offers his help to the Twitch streamer again.
This is what it’s about: Twitch streamer xQc had built a new setup, but the RTX 3090 didn’t fit in his gaming PC. Quite frustrated, he had given up the assembly for now.
The video on this had now been watched by Linus Sebastian. He leads Linus Tech Tips, one of the most recognized tech channels on YouTube.

What happens in the video? At the beginning, xQc spreads his new components on a carpet. Just about that, Linus can only shake his head. Because here there is a risk of static electricity building up and damaging his parts. While the risk is very low, the YouTuber explains, he “would never sit on a carpet and unpack computer hardware.”
Linus also has some objections to the selection
For the AMD processor, the streamer has paid way too much, according to Linus. xQc bought it from a scalper for $1,700.
Additionally, xQc installs 128 GB of RAM in his new gaming PC. That’s way too much for his purposes. Also, how casually he mounts the RAM on the motherboard makes Linus shiver.
When the Twitch streamer explains that the recommendations come from Twitch, Linus only says that he would never build a PC based on Twitch recommendations.
This is how the assembly goes: After some effort, both the processor and the RAM have been installed on the motherboard, xQc wants to install his water cooling.
For this, he first tries to install the radiator of his water cooling in the front of the case. Linus wonders aloud if xQc knows that he has to install the radiator at the top. Amused, he adds that he even gets the hint from the Twitch chat. However, he could simply circumvent the problem by removing 12 screws from the case. Linus then says half-desperate:
If he can’t even manage to remove 12 screws, why is he then building a computer?
What is the YouTuber’s first conclusion? At first, Linus thinks the streamer is a good actor and believes that it is all just a show. Because even though xQc claims to have no idea, the explanations are always close to the truth (in the above embedded YouTube video at 7:50 min.).
But at the latest, the installation of the water cooling makes him doubt, as the streamer doesn’t even think about removing the 12 screws from the side panel. During the video, Linus finally states that one must return to the basics. He should build a beginner’s PC.

In GTA Online there are so-called contact missions that are available from the start. MeinMMO explains to you in this guide what these missions are, how to find them, and what they bring you.
Since the release, GTA Online is constantly being expanded with new mission types. It can be hard to keep track. In addition to heists, various jobs, and other tasks, there are also the contact missions that have been available since the launch of GTA Online.
What are contact missions? These are missions you receive from certain people.
You will then deal with various contacts like Lamar Davis, Trevor Philips, and Lester Crest, who many players will already know from the single-player campaign of GTA 5.
But there are also other contacts. You assist the respective contact person in their business.
Some contact missions have been available from the very beginning, while others are unlocked as you increase your rank in GTA Online. You will receive the first contact missions after the tutorial, when you create a character in GTA Online.
In GTA Online you also receive contact missions from well-known characters. (Image source: igta.com)
You can start contact missions anywhere
Here’s how to get started: Typically, you receive such requests from the contact persons via SMS. These arrive at irregular intervals on their own. However, you can also call a contact person directly.
To do this, select the desired contact on your smartphone and activate the “Request Job” option. Then you will receive a request.
Some contact missions are only available in free mode. They are identifiable on the radar by a star marking, but they are not visible on the map. Some are only available at specific times of the day.
All contact missions can be selected and activated directly in the pause menu. The order in which you complete these missions is up to you, although there are different difficulty levels. An exception also applies to the missions from the Lowriders content – the corresponding missions must be completed chronologically.
Keep in mind that you cannot accept a contact mission if you are wanted by the police. You can reset your wanted level for a fee of 200 dollars per level.
What do you need to do in contact missions? The tasks vary depending on the contact person. These can include thefts, drug deals, contract killings, and other tasks.
These rewards await you: Depending on the difficulty and number of players, you receive a certain amount of money and RP (experience points).
The longer you take for a mission, the lower the cash reward.
The lowest amount you receive is when you play alone at the lowest difficulty and take longer than 15 minutes to complete.
On normal, there is a 25% bonus RP
On hard, the bonus is 50%
With another player, there is a +10% bonus RP
Without target assistance, there is an additional 25% bonus on RP
2 players receive +10% on the cash reward, 3 players +20%, and 4 players +30%
Typically, the rewards range between about 18,000 and 23,000 dollars if you do not take longer than 15 minutes for the missions.
Can such a mission fail? If you play alone, you have one extra life available. If you die more than twice, the mission is over and you must start over. If you play in a group, the mission is over if all group members die.
Do you play such contact missions in GTA Online? Or are there other, more interesting tasks for you?
But other options are also conceivable. For instance, the river of souls may no longer be directed into the Maw or even more worlds and realms of the Shadowlands could be drawn within reach of the Maw.
Has this happened before? Yes. Over the past few years, Blizzard has repeatedly made large, visible changes when a specific raid triggered events. For instance, there was a long time after the battle against Kil’Jaeden in Legion when the world Argus was visible in the sky. The portal to it is still recognizable today as a red dot.
However, there have also been such changes in Shadowlands itself. For example, the Maw, which can be seen from Oribos, has significantly grown in size during the course of the campaign. After the finale, you can even see a thick stream of Anima from Revendreth flowing into the Maw, which only disappears after several battles in Castle Nathria.
The Venthyr have even more impacts to see. After Kael’thas Sunstrider was “liberated” from Castle Nathria, he is in the covenant sanctum of the Venthyr.
What kind of significant change we will see after the battle against Sylvanas in the Sanctum of Domination remains to be seen.
What do you think will happen there in the end and what consequences will it have?
The next raid will have a significant impact on the appearance of WoW: Shadowlands. There will be “clearly visible” changes.
Even after BlizzCon, new interviews with exciting information about Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination continue to be published. After all, the next update for WoW: Shadowlands will bring some interesting changes and advance the story around Sylvanas and Anduin. An initial cinematic makes you crave for more.
But the Shadowlands will also change significantly.
What was said? In an interview by Warcraft Radio with lead narrative designer Steve Danuser, several statements were made about the raid Sanctum of Domination. The most exciting is perhaps the following quote:
Without being specific, I can say that when you complete the Sanctum of Domination, you will notice a large, visible change in the Shadowlands.
What will happen after the battle against Sylvanas?
Many players assume that Sylvanas will not be killed and instead some mechanism will be triggered or she will use a ability that has a significant effect on the game world afterward.
As this change should be “visible” in the Shadowlands, there are many possibilities. The simplest would be that the tower Torghast gets damaged and perhaps the upper part where the raid takes place is destroyed. This could be seen in the Maw.
Another possibility would be that the rift connecting the Maw and Icecrown becomes even larger. This way, the Maw could, for instance, threaten to engulf all of Azeroth.
But other options are also conceivable. For instance, the river of souls may no longer be directed into the Maw or even more worlds and realms of the Shadowlands could be drawn within reach of the Maw.

On Twitter, the developers of Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, mobile) presented the new weapons from the upcoming banner. We at MeinMMO briefly introduce them to you and reveal which ones you should keep an eye on.
What kind of weapons are these? On February 23, a new event starts in Genshin Impact, along with new banners being released. One of these banners introduces 3 new weapons:
Homa Staff (5 stars, polearm)
Millelith Sword (4 stars, greatsword)
Millelith Lance (4 stars, polearm)
Additionally, there is the old weapon “Wolfsgrab,” which was already found in the banner for Klee’s release.
All 3 new weapons from the banner are generally useful and functional. However, a small highlight is the Lithic Blade. Under the right circumstances, it is one of the strongest 4-star greatswords.
Why is the Millelith Sword interesting? The greatsword fully focuses on attack power. At level 90, it offers:
510 Base ATK
ATK % is at 41.3%
Additionally, it provides a special effect that grants +7% ATK and +3% Crit Chance for every character in the team that comes from Liyue.
With this bonus, you can achieve up to +28% ATK and +12% Crit Chance.
It is particularly suitable for characters like Chongyun, Beidou, or Xinyan, as long as you equip your other teammates with additional characters from Liyue.
What can the Millelith Lance do? This polearm has a similar effect to the greatsword:
565 Base ATK at level 90
ATK % is at 27.6%
Additionally, it provides a special effect that grants the spear +7% ATK and +3% Crit Chance for every character from Liyue.
This makes the weapon particularly interesting for Xiangling, as she comes from Liyue.
How about the new 5-star weapon? The chance of getting the Homa Staff is significantly lower than that of the 4-star weapons from the new banner. However, the polearm also offers good stats:
608 ATK at level 90
66.2% Crit Damage
+20% HP
0.8% of maximum HP is converted to ATK
If HP falls below 50%, the ATK value is additionally increased by 1% of maximum HP
In the end, you deal a lot of damage with this weapon while also gaining health points. This makes it interesting for all characters wielding polearms.
Xiangling uses polearms and benefits from both new weapons in this banner. You can also currently get her for free.
Until March 7, the event “We Stand Together” runs in Genshin Impact. Through this, you can earn a 4-star character from Liyue, corresponding to the new weapons. Here we reveal everything important about it:
In Destiny 2, Season 13 has kicked off and Bungie is doing many things right. But some issues have been bothering you for a long time. MeinMMO takes a look at the community.
Since February 9, Destiny 2 has been in the Season of the Chosen, which is now the 13th Season. After a cool start, it shows that Bungie has been able to step things up a notch and has presented some highlights that hardly anyone expected.
MeinMMO looks at why many of you have so much praise for Destiny 2 as you haven’t in a long time. But we also look at where it still hurts and has been for a while.
Destiny 2 goes horror and you love it
This horror delights: That Season 13 offers a secret Exo-quest was known to many. However, the powerful weapon “Tale of a Dead Man” quickly took a backseat and the hunt for the Exotic became the highlight of the still young season.
During the mission Providence, a mysterious message lures players to an abandoned spaceship in the depths of space. But the Guardians are not alone on the ghost ship.
The Guardians on MeinMMO have rarely been so enthusiastic
This is what you think: But even our readers at MeinMMO are really taken by the mission. In the comments under our articles, there is a shower of praise for Bungie.
Comparisons with the well-known creepy spaceships U.S.G Ishimura or the Nostromo can be read at Starfighter:
I am absolutely thrilled with the mission. For me, so far the best in terms of atmosphere. I just say Dead Space / Alien. You did a great job, Bungie.
It is also stated that the lack of a timer is a big plus. This allows you to take your time and enjoy the delicious creepy atmosphere at your own pace.
The other readers almost unanimously join in the praise:
Bienenvogel: “I can only agree with the positive feedback on the mission. One, if not the best mission I have enjoyed playing Destiny for almost 7 years. Destiny does Sci-Fi ‘horror’ pretty well.”
Chris: “Damn good mission. Tops the omens by a long shot. Plus, there are completely new mechanics involved. While the mechanics may not be the most groundbreaking innovation, it’s nice to have some variety in Destiny. Please more of this!”
Even Guardians who are currently busy with other games cannot resist the sheer amount of praise and announce their return: “Okay, convinced, I’ll check it out. But I really need to platinum the Demon’s Souls remake before I finally dive into the new season.” (KingK)
However, a few commentators consider the quest to be generic. But in regard to the Providence mission, this really is just a small minority. The only thing partially criticized is the lack of matchmaking, but that is sometimes countered by the focus on atmosphere.

Many sections in Destiny 2 seem stretched out. While you can admire the wonderful surroundings and with a keen eye even find cute animals, Guardians are primarily fighters and not photographers.
The now legendary quote from Luke Smith: “Destiny is about shooting aliens in the face while discussing the Oscars with your friends” has rarely been implemented as well as in Season 13. Because currently, shooting enemies is more enjoyable than it has been in a long time.
The reason is that players are faced with more enemies than they have been in a long time.
There are plenty of aliens:
On the seasonal battlefields, the Cabal are so thick on the ground that for the first time, you really believe that an invasion is taking place. Especially in the mission “Cleansing”, entire hordes crowd into a small space.
The strike “The Devil’s Lair”, which was brought back from Destiny 1, is quite short but crammed with enemies. About 350 baddies are thrown at the Guardians. In other, significantly longer, strikes, there are just over 100.
Forbes titles the topic as “Destiny 2 has flipped a missing fun switch in the Season of the Chosen”. And the well-known Destiny expert Datto (via YouTube) attributes the fun to “enemy density” and not to nostalgic feelings. Datto summarizes: “Season 13 started solid, very solid”.
Enough for everyone: The Cabal generals are accompanied by a great army
In the mass battles, Destiny returns to its old virtues. The great gunplay is the most fun even after 7 years when you’re not competing with other players for kills but everyone is shooting in all directions. Alternatively, experiencing the effect storm for open mouths and taking down a dozen Cabal with one shot feels right.
The loot is explosive in Season 13…
At the launch of the Beyond Light DLC, there was a veritable loot drought in the shooter. That has quantitatively improved a bit by now. Season 13 then brought in fresh guns, of which mainly the quality is right. Some of them seem to rejuvenate playlists on their own
This is the criticism: Although the Guardians received numerous toys in Season 13, a large portion of them is not “new”. Many weapons are known by veterans in a similar form from Destiny 1. Some items came back in polished versions from the early days of Destiny 2, and others are even reheated retirees who just recently went into retirement.
This is also how MeinMMO reader KingGamer86 feels:
I have no desire to play all the “remastered” weapons; I’ve done that plenty. Just because there’s a new perk on it, I don’t need it – to be honest.
With this, he strikes a chord with many of you. Generally, Bungie should reduce the rate of reskins. We often read this under numerous articles.
But even completely newly designed loot does not always excite the Destiny community: Countless laughs were caused by the seasonal armor ornaments. They are simply described as “ugly” and “ridiculous” – these being the milder descriptions.
In contrast, players’ mouths water at the gear from the cash shop or the Trials:
The new gear from the season pass, the Trials, and the Eververse
The same criticism as a year ago
Next, we summarize numerous complaints from our readers under 2 main topics: Issues with the season model and frustration over issues that have been lying in wait since Beyond Light.
This is how you feel about the season model: As in surveys on MeinMMO, the seasonal model of Destiny does not fare well with Season 13 either. You find the content too stretched:
“UnderSkilled_and_OverGeared” is actually satisfied with the start of the season, but: “What bothers me, however, is the time gate for the story. I don’t like being told when I can proceed… I think the story should be playable in full at the beginning, and I should decide how quickly I want to get through it.”
More critical is “RyznOne”: “These season passes and content stretches ruin the whole game […] When the next season pass comes, I better take a year’s break.”
However, it must be mentioned that many of you wanted to be surprised about whether more is coming in Season 13. The already mentioned Providence mission is one of those positive surprises that rewarded the wait. Nevertheless, many readers are still at odds with the seasons – we read this repeatedly.
At the beginning, the roadmap looks well-filled, but towards the end…
These complaints are not new in Destiny 2 either
What you have not been liking for a while: In general, Destiny 2 suffers in your opinion from the decisions made in Beyond Light. Many cool things have come to the game. So does the new Stasis element, which gives you a lot of fun and power in PvE – but has turned PvP into a nightmare.
The weapon retirement and the content vault are still ideas that are difficult for you to come to terms with.
This became particularly evident as many locations are now slumbering in the content vault and the story makes almost no sense for new Guardians.
In the comments, seasoned Guardians like our reader Ron admitted: “With all love, I started right at the release of D1 and still don’t understand the story because there is hardly any lore in the game itself […]”. Others of you agree.
You then ask where the new content is that should come instead of the now not further expanded content?
A constant point of criticism for many players over the years is also the neglected PvP. Unfortunately, Season 13 has brought little improvement in this area.
Conclusion: Season 13 has clear weaknesses for you. Guardians like to complain, but most do so because they love Destiny. This is justified in many cases, and when the criticism is made in an appropriate tone, it is also entirely necessary.
However, many pieces of Bungie’s plans for 2022 slowly begin to make sense. It seems that Season 13 does many things right that previous seasons did wrong. Destiny just can’t rest on the accomplishments of something like the Providence mission, but rather has to step up its game now.
How do you see it, did we capture your opinion well and do you have any additions? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
The BlizzCon 2021 is over and Blizzard has refrained from showcasing some of the most exciting projects: Among them, Diablo Immortal and the mobile games to Warcraft seem to be well advanced. The reason for not grandly presenting the mobile games lies in Blizzard’s trauma from 2018, believes our author Schuhmann.
This is how the trauma occurred: It is probably one of the worst moments in Blizzard’s 30-year history. The studio presented the pure mobile game “Diablo Immortal” as the highlight of the event at BlizzCon 2018 while a room full of PC fans was waiting for information about Diablo 4.
During the presentation, you could literally feel the atmosphere turning sour as the excitement for Diablo 4 turned into frustration over Diablo Immortal.
The uproar came during the Q&A session for the game. A fan asked whether Diablo Immortal would be playable on PC in any way.
The developer Wyatt Cheng said: The current plan is for Diablo Immortal to be playable on both mobile platforms. On iOS and on Android. Blizzard has no plans to bring the game to PC.
Wyatt Cheng was then booed by the fans on stage. Such things normally don’t happen.
Cheng put on a pained smile and asked, “Don’t you guys have phones?”

This was the result: This moment was later captured in thousands of memes. It became a catchphrase for the notion that the Blizzard of old is dead and that the new Blizzard has lost touch with the players. They only care about money now.
Apart from this moment, there were other terrible images from BlizzCon 2018: A fan in a red t-shirt had asked the developers if Diablo Immortal was an “April Fools’ joke.” He was celebrated online as a “hero.”
The mood towards Diablo Immortal was overwhelmingly hateful in the days that followed. A rumor circulated online that Diablo Immortal was not even a proper game but merely a brazen clone from Asia – just cheap goods from the East, instead of craftsmanship from Blizzard.
The developers had to spend years trying to rehabilitate the image of Diablo Immortal.
These are now the consequences: Since BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard has banished its mobile games from the big stage:
By the way, Diablo Immortal had already been shown to fans at least 3 years before release, and fans will probably have to wait for years for the Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 introduced in 2019. It is actually common for Blizzard to introduce games to fans early so they can look forward to the games.
This shows: Blizzard apparently treats mobile games as “second-class games” for which they feel a little ashamed.
It seems Blizzard is ashamed of their mobile games
What has the “incubator” department at Blizzard been doing since 2017 if nothing new is forthcoming?
Why present a game grandly in 2018 and then almost completely conceal it at the next two major events of the studio?
This does not reflect well on Blizzard.
Diablo Immortal has been banished from the big stage since 2018.
The problem in 2018 was the wrong expectation management, not the mobile game
But won’t Blizzard get in trouble if they show it? No, at least not as much trouble as in 2018. The problem with Diablo Immortal was not that Blizzard was making a mobile game. The problem was that they could not present anything else.
Diablo Immortal, while fans are super eager for the reveal of Diablo 4: That was a mistake. They should have clearly stated to the fans before BlizzCon 2018: Guys, we are not showing anything about Diablo 4.
Showing Diablo Immortal as a side note in 2021, when presenting Diablo 2 Resurrected prominently: That would have probably been okay.
Even Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime explained back in 2019 that the disappointment of fans at BlizzCon 2019 was due to the wrong expectation management regarding Diablo 4 and not to the mobile game.
At the moment, it seems Blizzard has decided not to show mobile games on the big stage of BlizzCon anymore. The trauma with “Don’t you guys have phones?” seems to still haunt Blizzard until 2021.
Meanwhile, Diablo Immortal could transform from the unloved stepchild into a hit for Blizzard:
One of the new features of the new expansion Endwalker of Final Fantasy XIV will be an island where players can take care of animals and plants. Director Naoki Yoshida revealed more about it.
This is the new feature: With the launch of the new expansion Endwalker in autumn 2021, fans of FFXIV can look forward to a lot of content, including a special island feature.
The island is tentatively named “Island Sanctuary” and is supposed to become a kind of “Animal Crossing” island or “Stardew Valley” farm. The players will be able to take care of animals and grow plants there. Over time, players will also be able to expand their island.
The first artwork for the island content shows many different companions that players can obtain in FFXIV, as well as some mounts wandering around freely. Normally, you can only summon one of them at a time.
The first official artwork for Island Sanctuary featuring many animals and plants.
Casual Solo Content for Relaxation
We were able to ask the head of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida, some questions, and here is what he revealed to us about the island content.
This is what Naoki Yoshida says: The content has reportedly been in development for two years. The original idea for the island was based on the desire of many players for their companions and mounts to roam freely in their housing.
According to Yoshida, this is not possible with the current housing system, which is why the team came up with another solution. As a result, standalone solo content was created:
Even though this content was designed for an MMORPG, the intention behind it is for players to pass the time while engaging in solo activities. They do not have to worry about the progress of other players.
There is no reason to rush, and there are no elements that would put pressure on players. Our goal here is for players to enjoy the slow life by playing carefree with their companions, taking screenshots in their favorite locations, and so on.
Director Naoki Yoshida speaking to MeinMMO
Thus, the inspiration for the island content came: Although Yoshida mentioned in a conversation with our sister site GameStar that he himself played a lot of Animal Crossing. For him, it is “extremely painful” to draw a comparison to the popular Switch game because it is simply “so incredibly” good.
Instead, the FFXIV team based their ideas on a TV show popular in Japan, where members of pop bands are stranded on uninhabited islands and participate in various construction and farming activities.
He also mentioned that many FFXIV developers are fans of Harvest Moon. It is a game series that also revolves around farming and raising animals.
If you areinterested in farming and housing in MMOs, you might also find this appealing:
In general, Director Yoshida does not want players to feel overwhelmed by the amount of content while playing his MMORPG. This should not only apply to the new island content but also to your progress in the story of FFXIV.
This is what Yoshida says about the story: With the Endwalker addon, the overarching storyline surrounding Hydaelyn and Zodiark, which has been ongoing for 10 years, will finally come to a close.
Because Shadowbringers was so well-received, we had the option to extend the final chapters of the [Hydaelyn and Zodiark] saga. However, that brings the risk of slowing the pacing of the story and losing momentum. That’s why I decided to jump right in. […]
Director Naoki Yoshida speaking to MeinMMO
For new players, it can be intimidating to start in such an old MMORPG with 4 expansions. However, Yoshida states at this point that players should take their time.
He likes to compare his MMORPG to TV series, and you can easily start anew even after many seasons:
[…] FFXIV is quite unique. Although it is an MMO, it is a heavily story-driven game. You can think of it like an interactive TV show where you can experience the story and grow as the main character while progressing. […]
Since Endwalker is our fourth expansion, you can picture it like the fourth season of a series. You can definitely catch up!
Director Yoshida speaking to the PlayStation Blog
You can play the game like a normal Final Fantasy and enjoy it at your own pace, Yoshida said to the colleagues from GameStar.
This is how FFXIV will continue: Although the Endwalker addon concludes the current story of FFXIV, it is not the end of the MMORPG. Yoshida and his team still have years of content in store for their game.
The Kanto Tour in Pokémon GO is over and for MeinMMO editor Noah Struthoff, it was a complete success! Here he shares his experiences.
This was the Kanto Tour: On February 20, the 1st generation was in the spotlight in Pokémon GO. The Kanto Tour was on and made all Pokémon from the Kanto region appear in their shiny form – if one was lucky.
I was already looking forward to the Kanto Tour and was not disappointed during the event. In my view, the event can even compete with the GO Fest 2020.
Many Shinys and few problems
This is how successful it was with Shinys: After 12 hours, I caught a total of 37 Shinys. That is generally a good catch, despite a one-hour lunch break and a dinner break.
Among the Shinys, there were even monsters that I was still missing in their shiny form. These include:
5x Hitmonlee
a traded Shiny Magmar
a missing Ponyta
and my pride: 2 Shiny Pidgeys
In general, many monsters were there that I had already had as Shiny multiple times and are now more like “baggage” lying in my Pokémon box. This especially applies to Shinys that were already available through a Community Day.
A part of my Shiny haul – I am satisfied.
This is what I liked about the Kanto Tour: In general, I found the hourly structuring successful. There was a new monster to hunt every hour, so you didn’t feel like you were always chasing the same Pokémon.
But also independent of the spawns, there was plenty to do. The raids with legendary and regional Pokémon were really strong. There were almost only useful Pokémon in the raids – with the exception of Mr. Mime.
Additionally, there were the collecting challenges and the special research with Ditto. This brought a lot to do and especially in the first hours, one had to pay attention to many things at once.
This is what I didn’t like so much: The idea with players challenging you at PokéStops was quite nice, and I enjoyed defeating a few opponents. However, trainers were sitting at almost every PokéStop, and you could hardly spin a stop without declining a challenge. This wasted unnecessary time, and out of frustration, I didn’t even click on some PokéStops.
Otherwise, at least in my opinion, there were too many starters during the Pallet Town hour. Sure, they belong, but I would have preferred to catch more Spearows, which were significantly more interesting as a new Shiny.
Furthermore, the implementation of Shiny Snorlax was somewhat critical. The new Shiny was probably desired by everyone, but unfortunately, it was only encountered very rarely in the wild. Instead, you could spend money and do raids. Additionally, Snorlax was also included in the quest “Hatch 3 Eggs” – also a task that is completed fastest with purchased incubators.
Was this better than the GO Fest? I would claim that the Kanto Tour could at least compete with the GO Fest. Considering that one could get strong raid bosses, many Shinys, and a ton of free items with the ticket purchase, it was definitely worthwhile.
The GO Fest had some rarer spawns, but they came from various generations.
I would be happy if Niantic organized similar events with the Johto or Hoenn regions. I would definitely participate again and hope for an even better Shiny haul.

In FIFA 21, there are some players who can receive upgrades over time. However, EA Sports accidentally improved a completely wrong card – giving some players an unexpected gift.
Here lies the problem: In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, there have been the so-called Road-to-the-Final (RTTF) cards for some time now. These player cards improve when the actual player’s team wins certain matches in the Champions or Europa League or advances to the next round.
One such card belongs to Dortmund’s Julian Brandt – and it was due for an upgrade last week after Borussia Dortmund won 3-2 against Sevilla on February 17. The player’s RTTF card increases to an overall rating of 88 due to the victory and is currently worth around 160,000 coins on the transfer market.
The RTTF card receives upgrades – that’s how it’s intended
So far, so good – but EA made a mistake with the upgrade. Not only this card received an upgrade.
EA improves the wrong Brandt – this is how it stays now
This is what happened: For some reason, not only the RTTF card of Julian Brandt but also his regular UCL card (UEFA Champions League card) jumped to 88. The UCL cards are actually special only because they have a blue Champions League coloring and are needed in certain Squad Building Challenges.
They offer no gameplay advantage compared to the regular gold cards – and are rather useless compared to RTTF cards. They are not eligible for an upgrade.
Suddenly, the UCL card became an upgraded RTTF card
Nevertheless, players suddenly found the UCL card with a rating of 88 over the weekend – even those who simply had the player unused in their club. The interesting part: The UCL card normally costs around 14,000 coins, which is extremely low for an 88-rated card. The RTTF card, on the other hand, is worth around 160,000 coins and is thus more than ten times more valuable.
Now Brandt comes in 3 Champions League variants
This is how EA resolved the situation: It was announced via Twitter that the affected player items will now be treated simply as an RTTF variant. Therefore, there are now two RTTF variants of Julian Brandt, which could improve in the future if Dortmund progresses further in the competition.

Meanwhile, a corrected UCL version of Brandt has been added back to the packs. He can thus reappear in this form as well. However, anyone who had the card in their club before can now enjoy an unexpected upgrade!
The Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyelhas bought the currently fastest gaming graphics card for his gaming setup. But it’s so big that it doesn’t fit in his PC. Now he has to figure out something else if he wants to use the graphics card.
In “Just Chatting,” he wanted to demonstrate how he installs the graphics card in his PC case. But it isn’t going as he had imagined.
On Twitch, he tried to install his new RTX 3090 into the case. But then he has to realize: “It doesn’t fit.” No matter how he turned it: The graphics card simply wouldn’t fit into the case. It was too small.
Meanwhile, Linus Tech Tips has also commented on xQc’s video. And he is anything but impressed. What bothers him about the streamer’s choice and why xQc’s lack of care chills him can be read and seen here:
Update: 23.02.2021: Note on Linus’ reaction inserted and additions/corrections made in the text.
RTX 3090 from ASUS is simply too long
What is the problem? Powerful hardware requires good cooling. Especially high-end cards rely on elaborate cooling or appealing design.
The version of the RTX-3090 graphics card from ASUS relies on cooling with three fans: They need a lot of space. Therefore, this version of the graphics card is very long at 315 millimeters. Even the Founder’s Edition of the RTX-3090 measures 313 millimeters, and the ASUS variant is slightly longer.
Typical mid-range graphics cards have an average length between 240 and 280 millimeters and require two slots in the case. Slots are the openings in the case.
High-end cards can definitely break the 300 mm threshold. However, there are exceptions: for example, the Founder’s Edition of the RTX 3080 measures 285 millimeters.
In the entry-level segment, graphics cards are rarely longer than 200 millimeters, as no demanding cooling is needed here.
Twitch streamer xQc underestimated the length of the RTX 3090. Because no matter how he turns the card, either the slot cover or the cooling is in the way. The remaining components he has already installed fit without problems.
Did xQc buy the wrong case? The case is the latest model from Corsair’s Crystal series. According to official manufacturer specifications, graphics cards up to 330 millimeters in length should generally fit in the case.
However, it also depends on which components are installed. On Amazon, there are some indications regarding the case that it may still be tight for large cards and that there is relatively little space for many components.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
xQc opted for a robust water cooling at the top, which, however, requires more space than the streamer had assumed.
This is mainly because he placed the fans on the bottom of the radiator. He could have avoided the space problem by installing the fans in the front.
You can watch the short clip on Twitch, where he gives up trying to install the RTX 3090 in his PC here.

In a second attempt, he removes the radiator of his AIO water cooling. Here he can then insert the graphics card, but the graphics card cannot be screwed to the bracket. The bracket of the graphics card does not sit properly on the case, so he cannot screw in the RTX 3090.
This is problematic because this way the weight of the graphics card puts more stress on the PCIe slot and can damage it. The graphics card is connected to the motherboard via the PCIe slot.
If you have trouble installing your graphics card in the case, do not use force or high pressure, as this could damage your expensive components or parts like the PCIe slot.
Twitch streamer fails to install an RTX 3090
Who is xQc? The Twitch streamer xQc was the most-watched streamer on Twitch last year. He is extremely often on air, but he is also a Twitch pioneer, reaching especially young viewers with his idiosyncratic style. Often, he is just on “Just Chatting,” surfing the net. He also regularly causes smaller and larger scandals like recently in Rust.
What is the GeForce RTX 3090? The RTX 3090 launched in late September 2020. For many gamers, the RTX 3080 is the more exciting alternative. MeinMMO had already pointed out that gamers prefer to opt for the RTX 3080 instead of the RTX 3090.
The RTX 3090 belongs to the GeForce 30 series. The graphics cards were officially presented on September 1, 2020. The GeForce RTX 3090 is supposed to provide 8K gaming with high graphics settings. The starting price was 1499 US dollars.
The high performance of the GeForce RTX 3090 especially invites experimentation. For example, the YouTuber AsianHalfSquat wanted to destroy his RTX 3090 in Minecraft. For this, he installed particularly demanding rendering projects. We have introduced you to how that looks in detail here:
The GeForce RTX 3060 will be released at the end of the week and thus the smallest Nvidia graphics card.
These graphics cards are still coming from Nvidia
Currently, there are two graphics cards from Nvidia that interested buyers are waiting for. One is the RTX 3060, which is set to be released in the middle of this week. However, how many graphics cards will be available at the release date is another question.
On the other hand, many are eagerly awaiting an RTX 3080 Ti. So far, this has not been officially announced, but it is now likely that Nvidia will announce such a card.
Shortly after the release of the RTX 3080, there was criticism of the too small video memory. The rumor that the RTX 3080 may get a memory upgrade fueled hopes for an RTX 3080 Ti. Some even hope that the graphics card could be on par with the RTX 3090.
We have gathered and summarized all information and rumors regarding the RTX 3080 Ti here for you:
Currently, an MMO is achieving great success on Kickstarter. Skyclimbers has already surpassed its funding goal by 700%, and the crowdfunding is not yet over. But what kind of game is it?
What exactly is this game? Skyclimbers transports you to a distant planet. There, you create a hero from the classes Paladin, Mage, and Ranger, each with their own skills. It is also possible to combine classes.
With your hero, you set out to explore the vast land in third-person perspective and gather resources. Together with other players, you build houses and entire cities. It is possible to establish a kingdom and then wage war against other kingdoms. For this, it is necessary to build barracks and recruit soldiers who answer to your command.
During your adventures, a mysterious story unfolds, involving future technologies, robots, and mysterious beings. In the wilderness, you face monsters and must also combat your hunger.
Additionally, you can tame wild creatures and further develop them, for example as mounts for land, water, and air, or for combat support.

Skyclimbers mixes survival, building strategy, and action RPG with anime graphics.
A colorful mix that is very well received
What makes the game so special and popular? Besides the very exciting mix of building strategy, survival, and action RPG that is intriguing for players, the so-called dynasties are a unique aspect of Skyclimbers. You establish a dynasty that spreads across the planet. Each uses a unique building style, and the players belonging to the dynasty receive a bonus. This is based on an element that represents the dynasty.
Players can set up their own servers like in Valheim to embark on adventures together with friends.
The world consists of several biomes such as forests or meadows, which are randomly generated per server. This is meant to make exploration particularly exciting. Graphically, the developers are inspired by animes.
When does Skyclimbers launch? The MMO currently does not have a precise release date. However, it is expected to enter alpha and an early access phase on Steam by the end of the year.
The MMO will be available for PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store, as well as for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. However, the console versions will be released only after the PC version.
How can you play earlier? A pre-alpha is currently taking place, but all spots are already filled. A second testing phase is already planned, and you can now register on the official website for it. Once pre-alpha 2 starts and you are selected, you will be notified.
How is the game financed? Development is funded through a crowdfunding campaign. Games like Chronicles of Elyria (CoE), Crowfall, or Camelot Unchained also used this method to raise money for their creation. Not always successfully, as CoE proves.
Through Kickstarter, the team behind Skyclimbers aimed to raise $25,000. Currently, the amount stands at $198,956 – as of February 22 at 1:30 PM. So the MMO is being very well received by players.
If you want to participate in the funding, you can do so until March 11, 2021. Starting from $45, you can join the regular alpha, which starts in the second quarter of 2021.
What do you think about Skyclimbers? Is this an MMO that appeals to you?
In Fortnite, the next crossover could be happening soon, and according to leaks, it might take place with the comic series Family Guy. But what can we expect? We will show you what has already been found.
This is what’s happening in Fortnite: In Season 5 – Chapter 2, several crossovers are taking place in Fortnite. This is because Agent Jonesy is assembling a crew made up of characters from various universes. They are meant to guard the Zero Point together.
Now, clues have been found that could indicate the next crossover.
Back accessory and image files found
These clues were found by data miners: Leakers like GMatrixGames have searched the data of Fortnite and found a few interesting things. There is a back accessory that has been codenamed “French Fry”. Additionally, they found image files associated with the back accessory:

Where do the image files come from? The image files come from various scenes of the comic series “Family Guy”. Among them is the iconic fight between Peter Griffin (main character) and his arch-nemesis the chicken.
It is still unclear how the back accessory will look. If the image files are indeed connected to the back piece, it might be that the scenes will be played on a small TV that can be carried around – but this is just a theory and might not actually appear in the game.
Crossover without a skin?
These doubts exist about the crossover: Although these found files are already a strong hint at a crossover, the question arises as to how the collaboration could take place. Normally, a skin would probably be added that players could purchase.
If a skin were to come, Peter Griffin as the main character of the series would likely be the first choice, but he is also known for his broader body type, which could be problematic in Fortnite. In this form, the skin would be easier to spot and provide a larger target area, making it “Pay2Lose” – which would argue against a skin of Peter Griffin.
Peter Griffin would not be very suitable as a skin in Fortnite
However, it remains exciting to see how the crossover might proceed if it actually happens. Whether only a back accessory from the series will come or a skin from Family Guy is added, we will probably see. After all, it is not the only crossover players are still waiting for.

In November 2020, a developer stated that new content would be coming.
What does this mean for Modern Warfare? If the leak is correct, new content for the shooter could arrive soon, and the game might get exciting again.
Interestingly, the Season 2 of CoD Cold War will also start soon. If new content for Modern Warfare is released simultaneously or a bit later, it could create internal competition.
What you need to keep in mind: So far, this is just a leak. The leaker, however, is TheGamingRevolution, who has accurately predicted many things surrounding Modern Warfare and Warzone in the past. So consider the info with a certain degree of skepticism but keep in mind that it might soon get exciting in Modern Warfare again.
When is Season 7 supposed to come? There is no specific date for it yet. However, TheGamingRevolution believes it might be as soon as March 11. According to several other reliable leakers, there is also a major event taking place in Warzone around that time.
Moreover, significant changes will occur in the zombie mode. With Outbreak, a whole new experience with zombies will be introduced and continue the story there. So stay tuned. You can find all the details about the new zombie mode here:
