In Windrose, there are various types of armor, but not all are worth equipping. We will show you what matters and which combinations are the best.
How do armors work in Windrose? In Windrose, there are currently up to 6 armor sets that you can craft. Each of these sets increases your defense – the further you progress on your journey, the more important this value becomes.
Enemies become increasingly stronger, and every bit of additional survival chance is essential. Armors not only provide you with damage reduction but also set bonuses, which are activated with 2 or 4 pieces of a set. With the right combinations, you can refine your build and become an unstoppable pirate.
The best armors – These combos you should play
The best strategy to benefit from the set bonuses is the “2 + 2” method. You equip 2 pieces from 2 different sets to take advantage of the respective bonuses. This way, strong synergies can be created with each build. The following combinations are currently considered the best:
2x Conquistadors + 2x Tracker (Tank)
Why is this combination good? With this combination, you benefit from a 25% increase in damage reduction. Hits can do less harm to you. You might say that it turns you into a little tank. Especially when fighting bosses, this combination can be very helpful.
2x Buccaneer Gear + 2x Shooter Equipment (Farmer)
Why is this combination good? This combination focuses mainly on farming and your movement. Especially if you want to sprint quickly between ore veins or stroll through fields, you are well served with this armor selection and achieve efficient consumption regarding your stamina.
2x Conquistadors + 2x Buccaneer Gear (Explorer)
Why is this combination good? With the Conquistador armor, you gain a significant amount of damage reduction, and with the Buccaneer Gear, the stamina consumption of your attacks is greatly reduced. In strong builds, you generally use a one-handed weapon like the Rapier (for bleeding) or the Saber (for quick attacks). Here, it’s particularly important to land as many hits as possible to ensure high damage output.
