Who is it about? The Twitch streamer Marcel Eris, alias MontanaBlack, is a star and a kind of role model for many young people. He presents himself as particularly tough and cool – he swears and ruthlessly speaks his mind. He wears gold chains, caps, and has tattoos on his face.
Such an appearance has brought the now 35-year-old a lot of success and he has grown to become one of the 5 biggest streamers in Germany. On Twitch, he has over 4.9 million followers.

What does MontanaBlack say about 7 vs. Wild? MontanaBlack received an invitation to the survival series 7 vs. Wild, in which he was supposed to participate in a team with Twitch streamer Carsten “ELoTRiX”. But MontanaBlack declined and explained his decision in an Instagram story.
In typical MontanaBlack style, the streamer openly says: “The honest answer is, I simply don’t have the guts for it.” He further explains that he does not feel ready to leave his “golden cage” for 3 weeks.
MontanaBlack’s decision also affects his teammate and good friend ELoTRiX, who claims to have been 70-80% likely to attend. With Eris’s refusal, the entire team is out.
I would have liked to have experienced a similar situation or something like that with Carsten, no question, I love Carsten. He has been my brother for over 10 years, but in the end, it’s a team decision and not a decision to do him a favor.
In a further story, the streamer explains that he could only have agreed with ELoTRiX if he was 100% convinced and fully committed – that was not the case. He also did not want to disappoint his friend, so he decided to share his honest opinion and let him know that he is not ready (via YouTube).
Earlier, MontanaBlack had already declined an invitation from OttoBulletproof, the winner of the second season of 7 vs. Wild, for his own survival series “Arctic Warrior”.
What is 7 vs. Wild? 7 vs. Wild is a survival show by YouTuber Fritz Meinecke, where the contestants have to survive in the wilderness for several days. They are responsible for finding food and building a shelter, and can only rely on a predetermined number of items.
In the third season of 7 vs. Wild, there will be seven teams consisting of two people each, who will be abandoned in the wilderness for 14 days. This time, some participants from previous seasons will also join.
After the first season took place in Sweden and the second season on a tropical island, season three will take the participants to a new location.

The end of “War” in World of Warcraft? From today, the Horde and Alliance are united and can play together in guilds.
Long requested by many and feared by some – now the day has come. With Patch 10.1 Ember of Neltharion, Blizzard has changed the guild system in World of Warcraft. Gone are the days when guilds could only accept members of one faction. From now on, guild members can be “mixed” and belong to either the Horde or the Alliance.
How do “Cross-Faction” guilds work? There have been only minor changes to the actual guilds. A guild still technically belongs to either the Horde or the Alliance – this is due to the affiliation of the guild master who creates the guild.
However, guilds have been expanded to include the function of being able to accept members of the other faction.

Who can be invited to the guild? You cannot just invite random players from the other faction into your guild. Instead, one of these two prerequisites must be met:
You must be in a shared in-game community with that person.
You and the person must have a Battle.net friendship.
Blizzard justifies this restriction by stating that they want to avoid players “accidentally” ending up in a guild of the other faction and suddenly wondering why all the others are Orcs and Trolls.
The feature is mainly there to strengthen existing friendships and make it easier to play together.
However, these restrictions do not pose a real hurdle (nor should they), as one can quickly join a shared community even without exchanging more private information – such as Battle.net IDs.
What do Cross-Faction guilds bring? The guilds mainly allow friends and acquaintances to share a guild chat, regardless of what side they play on. Additionally, features like “guild repair” or a shared guild bank can be used by both sides. This enhances the feeling of belonging and allows for more activities with friends – even if it’s just chatting a bit in the chat.
What don’t these guilds bring? The interaction in the open world hasn’t changed for the Cross-Faction guilds either. In war mode, players of the same guild remain hostile to each other, and group play in the open world is not possible or only very restricted.
The Horde and Alliance still have different quests in many cases, and the city guards of Horde or Alliance cities couldn’t care less what guild name you have above your character – they will still clobber you if you want to visit the “wrong” cities.

On the role-playing server “NoPixel” in GTA 5, home life is askew. The Twitch streamer Penta bids farewell to the server and takes a swipe at the operators.
What kind of server is this? Role-playing in GTA 5 Online is huge on Twitch and a career springboard for many streamers. The German streamer Real_Bazzi reached over 34,000 viewers in six months because he modeled his RP character after MontanaBlack.
The most successful of these role-playing servers in the English-speaking area is called “NoPixel”, an exclusive server where big streamers like xQc gather. One of the biggest Twitch streamers for GTA 5 is “Penta,” who has already logged over 11,000 hours in the game.
After a conflict with the NoPixel operator Koil, Penta has now announced that he will be leaving the server and once again launched a fierce critique against his old RP home.

What’s going on at NoPixel? Penta’s decision comes a month after the banning of streamer RatedEpicz from NoPixel. He was said to have behaved emotionally abusively towards his then-girlfriend. Later, more and more women raised allegations against RatedEpicz.
Why is Penta leaving NoPixel? The streamer justifies his decision by stating that NoPixel operator Koil seemed to equate the behavior of RatedEpicz with Penta’s role-playing scenes.
Koil apparently compared the intrusive messages that RatedEpicz wrote to women on the server with the fact that Penta eventually told a judge that he could shove it, questioning whether that was also role-playing. For Penta, this comparison went too far; in a stream on May 1st, he said:
I’m sorry, but that has crossed a hard line for me, and I think that’s understandable. […] I mean, how can I still play when someone’s boyfriend is outed as an abuser and his response is: “What about Penta?” How can I participate? How can I be associated with something like this? So I’m out, I think I’m out for good.
Penta hopes other streamers will follow him
What’s next for Penta? He apparently remains loyal to GTA-RP and has switched to the new server IgniteRP, which, unlike many modern role-playing servers, has an 80s theme. In a stream on May 2nd, however, Penta addressed the situation with NoPixel again.
Penta accuses Koil and his “gang,” the content group “Chang Gang,” of “verbal abuse.” He says there is a lot of abuse on NoPixel that is not necessarily sexual in nature, but still needs to be addressed.
He hopes to inspire some people to turn their backs on the server and thanked all the women who had spoken out about the conditions on NoPixel; that was very important. Furthermore, Penta addressed the server admins who tolerate the abusive behavior:
To the admins: I know some of you are too deep in it, but I sincerely hope that you wake up and realize what you are enabling. Because you are.
Finally, Penta commented once again on Koil as a person: he is such a jerk, his streams consist only of gambling in CS:GO and trashing him, Penta. His entire existence is pathetic.
A return of Penta to NoPixel now seems to be excluded.
What does this mean for NoPixel? That remains to be seen. In the streaming subreddit “LivestreamFail” there are already 3 threads about excerpts from Penta’s streams, each with between 1,600 and 3,800 upvotes and hundreds of comments. The topic is thus a big deal there.
In the comments, Reddit users compare Penta’s sweeping remarks to someone who has worked in a toxic environment for years and leaves a pile on the desk of the former boss after resignation. Some speculate that Penta has voiced what other members of the server have probably wanted to say for years.
Some viewers even hope that this current drama heralds what they see as the overdue end of NoPixel and clears the way for new role-playing servers.
High temperatures in a gaming PC unsettle a gamer. The cause behind it is also his own laziness: Because he probably never cleaned the PC.

Under our article here on MeinMMO as well as on Facebook, dozens of comments from readers came in discussing the topic of the boxes. Most often, people ridicule the fact that the box comes without a game.
On Facebook, for example, it says: “Who buys a Collector’s Edition without a game? Sometimes you really wonder…”. Other users even see it as a direction that could potentially shape the future:
I hope that it does not become a trend to release collector’s editions without a game. With D4, I still suspect that it is purely about profit maximization to capitalize on the hype.
However, there are also some readers who have more nuanced views. And it should also be noted: the Collector’s Box of Diablo 4 is by no means “more expensive” than others when looking at the current price trends in the gaming industry.

Tyler1 is the world’s largest Twitch streamer for League of Legends (LoL). In one of his recent streams, he talks about how he received an email from Riot Games regarding his chat behavior and mentions that we probably won’t see him as a Riot partner for at least a year.
What happened to Tyler1? Larger streamers often fall victim to so-called stream snipers and griefers in higher ranks in League of Legends, who have made it their mission to drive the streamer to despair.
Riot is mad at me. You probably won’t see me for a long time in anything related to Riot Games. Maybe a year Tyler1 says in his stream.
A significant boycott, considering that the American streamer hosted the LCS finals in 2022 and won the award for the best League of Legends streamer in both 2021 and 2022.

How does Tyler1 react? In his stream, Tyler1 expresses his frustration about Riot Games and their actions. He justifies his chat behavior by saying that he is constantly griefed and trolled in his matches and that Riot is not able to address griefers and stream snipers.
He reiterates in his stream how little he cares about the consequences and that Riot should not contact him again and that they refused to ban the griefer.

What variations exist for the mounts? So far, 17 mounts have been published in advance. What stands out in the overview are mainly the horrifically deformed and grotesquely designed mounts, which fit the setting of Diablo 4:

In Pokémon GO, some former trainers are currently receiving emails with gift codes. This is causing criticism.
What is happening in Pokémon GO? Currently, there is a critical mood among many Pokémon GO players, as the popular remote raid passes have become more expensive and a limit of 5 remote raids per day has been set.
As a result of this decision, parts of the community have clearly expressed their anger, started a petition against the changes, and in some cases called for a boycott of the game. Many players, especially those without a local community, rely on remote raids, is one of the arguments of an open letter to the developers.
However, so far there are no signs that the changes could be reversed. Accordingly, some players have uninstalled the game, or at least no longer log in.
Some of these players are now apparently receiving an email with a gift code for the game. This is shared by users in the Pokémon GO subreddit.

What are these emails? In the Pokémon GO subreddit, some players are currently sharing that they are receiving emails from Pokémon GO with a personal promo code.
This is supposed to unlock a “mysterious gift” once entered in the game. Such emails are apparently received if one has not been active in the game for a long time (via dotesports).
However, the promo code does not necessarily go down well. For instance, user “RebelSpeed” posted on reddit that he has not played since the day the remote passes became more expensive. Now the code has arrived, but RebelSpeed says: “That’s not how you get my attention, Niantic, try harder.”
