Although Halloween is over, there is still an event in GTA Online where you can receive an exclusive weapon. We will show you what you need to do for that.
What kind of event is this? For a few weeks now, a large Halloween event has been running in GTA Online. While there have already been zombie attacks in the past weeks, the grand finale is currently in progress and will end on November 6, 2024. Until then, players still have the chance to get a very specific weapon.
This weapon has two special features:
- The weapon can only be found during this period, which lasts until November 6.
- It is a special alien weapon called “Shocker”.
We will explain what you need to do to get the weapon before the event ends.
A Real Alien Abduction
What kind of weapon is it? The Shocker lives up to its name: although the weapon cannot kill your opponents, it can incapacitate them with a precise hit. However, the weapon is not simply lying around anywhere in the world.
No, to obtain the Shocker, you must allow yourself to be abducted by aliens.
How do you get the weapon? During the current event, mysterious UFOs hover over the map of GTA Online. They have been seen in the past, and now you have to let one of them pull you up. You must keep the following points in mind:
- The UFOs only appear at night between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM. In-game, this corresponds to a period of about 12 real-time minutes.
- If you get too close to the UFOs, your vehicle will fail, and you will have to continue on foot. Plan accordingly, as some alien abductions take place on high rooftops.
- Only three players can be abducted at the same time per lobby – so it’s better to do this in a private lobby.
If the abduction is successful, you will be taken away and awaken in a basement under Fort Zancudo. After awakening, you should do the following:
- Grab the crowbar from the table on the wall.
- Leave the room and find a wooden crate in the next room on the left. Open it with the crowbar and find the Shocker.
You now need to leave the place before you can call the weapon your own. Leave the room and run to the end of the corridor. There, a small puzzle awaits you. Four levers have four symbols depicted above them. You need to activate the levers in the correct order.
For this, return to the different rooms leading off the corridor. In each of them, you will find one of the mentioned symbols. Count how many times a symbol appears per room. This gives you the order 1-4. Activate the levers correctly, and you will escape the bunker with the Shocker and a cash reward.
Beware: You have only three attempts for the puzzle. If you fail, you will die, and the Shocker will be lost. And once again, as a reminder: you should hurry with the abduction because the event only lasts until November 6.
