A customer calls support and complains about her broken computer. But in the end, the problem is not the hardware, but rather the customer’s fingernails. The employee finds it amusing.
Anyone who has worked in support knows that sometimes you have to deal with the strangest problems. This has now happened to an employee who had to handle a particularly annoying issue.
But the problem was, unusually, not the technology but the customer’s fingernails that were complaining about the hardware.
What was the problem? A tech employee explained on reddit that he had a very special case in support. He works for a company that provides financial services. Here, computers with touch monitors are offered for customers to use.
One evening, a local bartender called us and said the touchscreen wasn’t working. Most of these establishments don’t have a mouse, and often the problem is just a loose cable or a faulty driver. As I’m logging in to check the drivers, I hear her loudly informing the bar what a terrible company we are and so on. Finally, we finish troubleshooting, and even though everything is displaying properly, the bartender keeps saying that there’s no response on the screen. We decide to make a call after business hours to request a replacement PC/monitor, which again happens after business hours, meaning we had to wake a technician to handle this.
What’s next? The technician eventually goes to the customer and checks the installed computer system. 5 minutes later, he calls his colleague laughing and explains that it wasn’t the hardware causing the problems:
The bartender had very long acrylic nails and touched the screen with her nails instead of her normal fingers. After we explained the problem to her, she complained that we needed better monitors. When I asked her if she did the same with her phone, she replied, “Of course not, I don’t want to scratch the screen.”
Others also report similar experiences: In the thread, support employees explain that they have had similar problems with people with long fingernails.
One person explains that he was once cursed by a saleswoman because she couldn’t operate her new iPhone with her fingernails: “She threatened me, my boss, and our descendants for eternity if we didn’t fix it as quickly as possible.” The solution was that the employee had to cut her fingernails.
Touchscreens are today present in many modern devices. From mobile phones to tablets to ATMs: People now use touch gestures everywhere. At the same time, the display, which is directly above the touchscreen, is one of the most heavily used components.
Because you use the display daily on your mobile phone, and thousands of people use various devices in everyday life where such components are installed:
What can you do to protect your display? Many manufacturers are therefore trying to deal with such everyday problems. The well-known manufacturer Corning, which produces “Gorilla Glass,” claims to manufacture particularly scratch-resistant display glass.
Another option today is to protect the display with additional films or so-called tempered glass. Because then, in everyday life, you only scratch or damage the “films” and the additional glass, but not the actual display that lies directly underneath it. On average, you pay between 10 and 15 euros for such protective products.

The most hotly anticipated new game for several years is Grand Theft Auto 6, an action role-playing game by Rockstar Games. A release of GTA 6 is expected between April 2024 and March 2025. A leak showing 49 seconds of gameplay is now causing discussions,
This is the situation with GTA 6:
This clip is now being discussed: A user shared a 49-second gameplay leak on Twitter.
The leak shows the two main characters of GTA, Jason and Lucia.
It is believed that actress Alexandra Echavarri (FBI) may serve as the model for Lucia. Actor Bryan Zampella (Fight of Fury) is assumed to be the voice actor for Jason.
This feature is being discussed: The leaker particularly highlights the seamless transition between the two protagonists in the clip.
At one moment, you control and observe Luca, in the next moment, the player walks out onto the street with Jason and is then back in the hotel room as Luca after a “switch” sound effect.
In the lower right corner of the screen, a control button with the option “Switch to Luca” can be seen, which is briefly visible twice before the switch. In the background, the radio appears to be playing.
Here is a second leak:
The leaker points out that the graphics are already great, even though GTA 6 is still in the alpha stage.
GTA 6 also made headlines at Gamescom, albeit not with gameplay material, but through a disturbance:

The bitterest death in WoW Classic HC has now been experienced by a Shaman. He just wanted to reload his beloved weapon.
In World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore, most players proceed much more cautiously. This is only logical, as each character has only one single life. If you make a mistake here, you can throw your hero away – and that forever. Because there are no revivals, and the only option left is to create a new character.
However, even the most cautious playstyle cannot protect against ignorance. Because reloading a weapon can lead to instant death, as a Reddit user painfully reports.
What happened to the Shaman? In the Subreddit of WoW Classic, the user Nastrin recounts the unexpected demise of his Shaman at level 49. He emphasizes that he always planned cautiously and ahead.
I always play super safe, all the time. I only had a close moment at level 14.
Whenever I have over 150 ms [latency], I log out and play another character. Every time I run out of target dummies, I go back and get more, no matter how tedious it might be. I always fully healed before each fight. I read everything on wowhead whenever something made me skeptical. Goblin Rocket Boots have in the text that they have a chance to explode, so I checked specifically that it’s not deadly.
An item that does not have this warning in its description is the Goblin Mortar.
What kind of item is this? The Goblin Mortar is an item of engineering that is often used to deal a little more damage. However, the mortar only has 6 shots, after which it must be reloaded.
What the game does not reveal, however, is that reloading the mortar is dangerous and can fail. Then the character explodes and is almost certainly dead instantly. Exactly what happened to Nastrin:
I died when I reloaded my Goblin Mortar. I think that is the worst way to die. I would have preferred to have a disconnect in a fight, because then at least I would have felt I missed some warning signs, like high latency. […]
Reloading a Goblin Mortar does not reveal (unless you already know it) that it can be dangerous. In fact, I probably reloaded it ten times and had no problems until now.
An older clip shortly after the launch of the original WoW Classic shows how it can fail with the mortar:
This is how the community reacts: In the corresponding post, the incident is received with sympathy, but also a bit of amusement. For instance, Captain_Saftey says:
Others agree with this view, like Billalone:
Most seem to be glad to be informed about the dangers of the Goblin Mortar now. With that, it is another item on the list of WoW Classic Hardcore that every character should better avoid.
Have you also experienced an unexpected death? Or are you still bravely on your way to level 60?

The MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online is getting a new class 16 years after its release, which is not commonly found in MMORPGs. The “Mariner” is inspired by the character “Eärendil”, a legendary half-elf from the Silmarillion. He acts like a mix between a bard and a rogue and brings interesting new mechanics to the online role-playing game.
How is it with classes in Lord of the Rings?
The Amazon series “Rings of Power” is controversial, but it brings fans a new dose of Lord of the Rings:
What is the concept of the new class? The “Mariner” is intended to be a class for experienced players; he wears medium armor and uses daggers and one-handed swords – like the rogue, he can carry two weapons at the same time. Additionally, the new class uses an instrument like the bard and has a support effect: the Mariners sing sea shanties to assist their companions.
As MassiveyOP notes, the class is about being “in the flow” and adjusting your rotation to the circumstances.
This is how he is supposed to be played: The basic idea of the Mariner is a type of “fencer”: a pirate, as you know them from swashbuckler movies. He has a slider that shifts depending on skills either to the left or right: defensive or offensive abilities move the slider in one direction or the other.
He has numerous abilities that trigger either buffs or debuffs.
The Mariner has 3 skill trees to choose from:
More about the Mariner and gameplay can be found in a one-hour video from the developers (via youtube).
The red tree is suitable for solo players, while the other two are clearly intended for group play. The developers also say: The character is more suited for “experienced players” who are playing in groups.
The “old” MMORPG Lord of the Rings will soon face competition:

The creepiest scene in Baldur’s Gate 3 has been missed by most of you. Karlach plays the lead role – and behaves as if possessed.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of small and larger secrets, many of which have not yet come to light. This may be partly because they are very well hidden, but also because some content is simply still a bit buggy.
However, a scene has emerged that could be the creepiest in all of Baldur’s Gate 3. Because Karlach breaks the fourth wall – and realizes that she is in a game.
Spoiler warning: This article contains spoilers about Karlach and the gameplay of Baldur’s Gate 3. You have been warned.
What kind of scene is it? The scene initially appears harmless. Karlach asks your main character if she can try something. It concerns a “technique” that she wants to test – something she learned from Zariel’s cleric. But she assures that it’s “nothing creepy, don’t worry.” It’s a method to determine if someone is telling the truth or lying. If you agree, she adds that it will be “fun”:
“Just stand relaxed. Look into my eyes. And then …”
From then on, it gets creepy. Because Karlach slowly turns her gaze away from your character – and instead looks directly at the camera. She looks at you, the player in front of the screen, keeping her gaze uncomfortably fixed on you.
Accordingly, she addresses the following questions to you in the real world and no longer to the main character.
She first asks for your name – and you can provide your main character’s name. But Karlach quickly clarifies that this is a “silly” answer.
You can say that this is suddenly quite unexpected, to which she simply replies:
“Good story, good sex, all of life – they all share the element of the unexpected. Get used to it.”
Then something seems to go wrong with the spell, and Karlach looks confused for a moment – only to say that the spell is probably “working correctly for the first time”.
After that, Karlach becomes noticeably calmer and more contemplative. She seems to gain true understanding – and at the same time be overwhelmed by it. She talks about how she understands the “Grand Design” for the first time and that it is not at all what she thought.
The companion begins to question the gods of her world: Are they really the gods? Can one be sure of that?
“I see … a great web. Intersecting lines, permutations, and behind it, chaos. And then the hand that decides: Yes, No. But it hardly knows itself.”
With this, Karlach „deconstructs“ Baldur’s Gate 3. A vast web of possible decisions that look like chaos. A hand that makes those decisions – our cursor.
“Tell me – tell me now. Do you know how this all ends? You, I, this adventure?”
Karlach realizes that you in front of the PC already know the end of this adventure. And she wants you to share that knowledge with her and tell her how it will end for her. She appears increasingly panicked and demanding. And then she asks: “Have you done this before?”
The dialogue is eerily hard to describe but contains amusing secrets sprinkled throughout. For example, she states that the adventure will take about “a hundred hours, maybe a little more or a little less” – which roughly corresponds to the playtime of a quick run of Baldur’s Gate 3.
She then ends the conversation with a final question that seems both accusatory and reassuring: “You enjoy this, don’t you?”
If you confirm this with “Yes,” she overly rejoices: “Thank the gods. Thank the gods. We did it! Listen everyone, we did it! YES!”
The essence of this dialogue is clear: Karlach is able to recognize with this technique that she is just part of a “game,” even if she cannot grasp the exact circumstances and tries to describe it with her knowledge.
When does the scene take place? This is still not entirely clear. However, it seems certain that this dialogue can never be seen during the first playthrough. You must successfully complete Baldur’s Gate 3 at least once to even have a chance at this dialogue – so a second save file is necessary.
The exact starting conditions for this dialogue are still unclear. According to Karlach’s voice actress, it is supposed to be “hard to trigger” – and so far, only a few have witnessed it.
The scene makes Karlach even more interesting – and is probably the creepiest moment in all of Baldur’s Gate 3, which can be funny on one hand, but on the other hand extremely unsettling.
How did you like this scene?

Trolls in World of Warcraft can be annoying. But you only get a new achievement if you want to troll someone but completely fail at it.
In World of Warcraft, there is a lot to do. But aside from dungeons, PvP, roleplay or engaging in pet battles, there is one activity that is even more fun: trolling friends and fellow players. There are numerous abilities and items that can tease or drive your fellow players in WOW a bit crazy.
Arguably the most popular of these “troll items” just received an achievement. But you only get it if you’re too dumb to use it correctly.
Which item is being referred to? It’s the “Swap Blaster”. This is an item that engineers can craft and you can also simply buy it in the auction house. The Swap Blaster can also be used even if you haven’t chosen engineering.
The Swap Blaster has a short activation time and then swaps your position with that of another player in the party or raid. The exciting part: The targeted character retains their momentum. So if they are running straight, they will continue to do so after the teleport. In comparison: Spells like “Leap of Faith” end your movement, even if you keep holding the run button.
Most players use the Swap Blaster as follows: They position themselves at an edge and wait for their “victim” to move. Then they fire the Swap Blaster and swap positions with their victim. Since the target is still moving, it gets teleported to the edge and takes one more step – which usually leads to death.
We have more about the Swap Blaster in this article.
What do you have to do for the achievement? It’s about the achievement “You Had it Coming”. The task description of the achievement says: “Get what you deserve.”
This is not exactly clear, but the symbol of the Swap Blaster reveals what needs to be done: You must die.
To get the achievement, you need to use the Swap Blaster on a fellow player and then die immediately afterwards. This can sometimes happen quite “naturally” if you choose the absolutely wrong moment for a swap, like when the victim is jumping over an abyss. With the swap using the Swap Blaster, you find yourself in mid-air. Since you must stand still to use the Swap Blaster, you have no movement during the swap either – and simply fall into the abyss.
Whether you want this achievement or not is, of course, up to you. Because maybe it’s also the ultimate troll award if you avoid getting this achievement for as long as possible.
If you want to troll gullible fellow players, we can also recommend this poison.

In Destiny 2, a serious bug caused balance chaos over the weekend, especially during the PvP event “Trials of Osiris”: Bungie initially allowed the chaos to persist but intervened on Saturday evening, September 16.
What caused the chaos? On Saturday, September 16, we reported on MeinMMO about the serious weapon exploit in Destiny 2:
On MeinMMO, a user talks about weapons that act like a mix of linear fusion rifle and shotgun, with 12 shots per volley. This is a kind of “God mode”.
What was Bungie’s reaction? In an initial response on the night from Friday to Saturday, Bungie stated that they were keeping an eye on whether the situation became “too wild”, then they would intervene.
But for now, the motto was: “Let’s all have fun.” (via twitter)
How did players react? With certain weapons, during the time the exploit was active, it was possible to activate a kind of “God mode” and master difficult tasks that otherwise couldn’t be accomplished.
While people could take on the most difficult challenges in PvE in this way, the bug in PvP led to ridiculously high KDAs for the players exploiting the situation.
While some apparently had fun with the bug, it didn’t go over well with many players. They felt that a “rollback” was looming, meaning the resetting of all game content to an earlier time.
YouTuber Datto asked: How can this be allowed? He refers to it as “the biggest exploit we’ve ever seen in Destiny”
On MeinMMO, some players announced they would not play anymore for the moment, as they believe their game progress would likely be reset later.
Players stated that fairness in Destiny 2 is now definitively over.
There was a feeling that “the honest player is the fool”; those who don’t exploit the bug miss the chance for loot and achievements they wouldn’t otherwise get.
How did Bungie respond? On Saturday evening at 20:53 our time, Bungie pulled the emergency brake. They stated that while they loved seeing all the “fun clips and jokes” (via twitter), they now needed to prioritize the health of the game.
They announced that in an initial fix, all crafted weapons would become “unequippable”.
In a second fix, they intend to remove the bug from the game.
There will not be a rollback.
What’s behind it: This is a peculiar situation. Normally, players often complain when Bungie fixes things that are “too strong” and post things like: “Fun discovered – fix incoming”. However, this usually concerns small things that make gameplay more comfortable or bring variety. An example of this was the “Sparrow” bug from 10 days ago.
Here, however, the exploit was so severe that many players’ sense of justice demanded a “hard” intervention from Bungie. Yet Bungie acted contrary to this expectation and the players’ experiences by initially allowing everything to continue.
This seemed unpredictable and was consequently not okay.
Many players have a need for their game to be fair so that what they have achieved means something. Such a “chaos day” sows doubts.

In Baldur’s Gate 3 there are tons of hidden references and secrets. MeinMMO has put together 10 fascinating Easter eggs from the game for you.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of secret Easter eggs that could bring a broad smile to players’ faces. These hidden treasures from Larian Studios add charm to the world and connect it with various literary works, games, and pop culture references.

The Raven
You have the opportunity to summon a raven named Quothe as your familiar with a spell in Baldur’s Gate 3. The name is a tribute to the famous poem The Raven
by Edgar Allan Poe, an American writer and poet of the 19th century.

The reference refers to this quote from Edgar Allan Poe –Quoth the raven: Nevermore
– which means “Nevermore, said the raven” in German. The poem is about a nameless narrator who is visited by a mysterious raven that only croaks the one word Nevermore
.
Players in Baldur’s Gate 3 receive inspiration based on their backgrounds and dialogue decisions in the game. In the second act of the game, you can receive an inspiration called A Smile Better Suits…
that reminds of a heartbreaking moment in Final Fantasy XIV.
The Twitter user DividusYliaster uploaded a picture of the inspiration:
This inspiration is a reference to the last words of a beloved character in Final Fantasy 14: A smile better suits a hero…
. To remain as spoiler-free as possible for FFXIV players who are still in the midst of the story, we do not mention the character’s name. FFXIV veterans will surely be deeply touched by this discovery.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, you have the pleasure of encountering a pitiful merchant named Kauz Loryss in Act 3. He stands next to his once magnificent cart, which is now completely destroyed and only populated by sad cabbages.

My cabbage! My beautiful cabbage…
Loryss cannot hide his disappointment and loudly complains about how his business was ruined by this unfortunate incident. The scene is a true comedy moment, making it hard not to chuckle. It inevitably reminds one of the legendary cabbage merchant from the popular series Avatar – The Last Airbender
.
He is often humorously depicted shouting My cabbages!
as his cabbage crates are repeatedly destroyed or stolen. His recurring bad luck has become a popular running gag in the series and has made him an unforgettable character for the fans.
This time, it is a rather obvious Easter egg that players will quickly notice. When you fight Raphael during the course of the third act, it is worth taking a closer look at his hit points. An obvious devilish reference appears here.

The number 666 is often referred to as a symbol of evil or the devil. Adding this specific number of hit points to Raphael is therefore a clear and humorous nod to the concept of the devil.
When you click on a standing mirror, your character utters the following sentence: It is I – after all that has happened.
This sentence might deeply touch many Undertale fans, as these words remind them of a significant moment from the game.

The phrase “Despite everything, it’s still you” appears in Undertale when the player interacts with a mirror with the main character Frisk during the game. The reuse of this phrase in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a touching tribute to Undertale.
Here you will find 5 helpful tips for your playthrough:
Players can encounter the Doom Hammer in Baldur’s Gate 3, which hints at a hammer from World of Warcraft – the Doomhammer. Orgrim Doomhammer, once a war chief of the Horde, wielded this impressive hammer, which originally came from Draenor.
The Reddit user Rinf_ uploaded a picture of the Doomhammer from Baldur’s Gate 3:
This hammer was also an artifact weapon for shamans in the expansion Legion. Additionally, the powerful hammer played a significant role in the story of Thrall, one of the most well-known figures in World of Warcraft, as it was long in his possession.
In the third act of Baldur’s Gate 3, players can expect an exciting Easter egg. A highly known character from the gaming world appears in the city of Baldur’s Gate, and it is none other than Geralt of Rivia, the famous witcher.

Shares-Liebkosung
You will find Geralt in the brothel (Act 3), where he is clearly enjoying a break. Beside him is a woman who can undoubtedly be identified as Yennefer. Yennefer is a highly significant figure in the Witcher saga and plays a central role in Geralt’s life.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, there is also a very special connection to another game by Larian Studios – Divinity: Original Sin 2. The game was released in 2017 and is also styled like a tabletop role-playing game.
The connection between Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2 is shown in the form of portraits depicting Origin characters from Divinity 2.
The player Gruselgrufti uploaded a picture of Fane’s portrait on Reddit:
These portraits are carefully spread throughout the game and give Divinity fans the opportunity to nostalgically reflect on the adventures in Rivellon while mastering the challenges of Baldur’s Gate 3. You can find Fane’s portrait in the overgrown ruins, where you first encounter Lazarus.
One of Gale’s notable lines is a humorous Easter egg from Shakespeare’s works. In Act 3, Gale recites a modified version of a famous line from the comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream
: What fools these mortals be
– which means “What fools these mortals are” in German.

This comedy by William Shakespeare is a classic work that holds a special place in literary history. The fact that Gale uses this line in modified form in Baldur’s Gate 3 gives his character a certain depth and highlights his intellectual and literary knowledge.
In the tavern Elf Song in the third act, you will be greeted by a special surprise. Two characters in this scene evoke strong memories of Pike Trickfoot and Grog Strongjaw from the first campaign of Critical Role. Pike and Grog share a deep relationship defined by years of friendship and a sense of brotherly love.

Critical Role is a popular series available on YouTube. In this show, voice actors come together to play Dungeons & Dragons. The experienced game master of this round is Matthew Mercer, who also provides the voice of Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3.
These are just some of the many Easter eggs in Baldur’s Gate 3. What references have you found? Feel free to let us know in the comments!

The page “NexusMods” is the largest source for game modifications on the internet: Especially the games from Bethesda, like Skyrim, are known for their numerous mods that allow players and creators to change the game. Now NexusMod has banned a type of mod for Starfield : The choice of pronouns in character creation must not be removed. A corresponding mod has been removed.
This is the situation:
This is what NexusMods says: In a statement to 404media.co on Friday, September 15, Nexus-Mods says: Actually, it is not the site’s policy to dictate what people take out or put into a game.
But there are mods with content that we do not want to host:
We did not want to host this mod, and it is certainly within our rights not to provide a home for such content on our platform. This is not a political statement or a commitment to one side or the other in the culture war.
We stand for diversity and inclusion in our community, and removing diversity, even if many like it, does not promote a positive modding community.
In August 2022, the site made a similar decision in the case of Spider-Man Remastered and rejected mods on their site that removed pride flags from the game via mod.
What is the reaction? Some users of the site announced their withdrawal and said, “this is the death of NexusMods”.
In the forum for Starfield on Steam, there are comments from some angry users cursing NexusMods, calling them “censoring cowards.”
Many Steam users, however, do not understand the outrage: It’s a tiny detail that can simply be ignored or lived with.
The site commented on the negative criticism by saying they feel confirmed in their decision. There is a lot of hate and malice coming from a very, very small part of the community. They are not sad to see these people go.
Especially in the USA, the choice of pronouns is part of a culture war in a politically deeply divided country.

The Twitch-streamer Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich (25) has finally received his long-awaited Lamborghini Urus after much anticipation. He has strict rules about who can get into the luxury vehicle.
What kind of car is it? EliasN97 has treated himself to a matte black Lamborghini Urus, his absolute dream car, as he repeatedly emphasizes. He waited over a year for the SUV, only to find he cannot drive it. It is said to have cost him €313,000.
Now the Twitch streamer has finally taken possession of his car. On YouTube, EliasN97 showed how he picks up the Urus and shared initial footage and impressions. Additionally, a clip is circulating on TikTok where he establishes who is allowed to ride in the car – and who is not.
What are the rules? To keep the white leather seats of the luxury car looking nice for a long time, EliasN97 has established some rules:
Surströmming is allowed, the streamer jokes. The fish dish known for its strong smell helped EliasN97 achieve a new record on Twitch in August. We have embedded the entire clip for you here:
What are the reactions like? The reactions in the comments under the video are rather mixed. Some can understand the rules well: After all, it is his car, and he can manage it as he sees fit. This way, the car maintains its value – after all, EliasN97 mentioned that he also sees the Lamborghini as an investment.
Other reactions range from amused to bewildered. Some users cannot understand why someone would buy an SUV if they have “fear of dirt” or find the rules too restrictive. One viewer even writes, “The car bought him, not he the car.”
Once he becomes accustomed to the car, some viewers speculate that the streamer will not take cleanliness as seriously anymore.
EliasN97’s Twitch colleague xQc may also wish he had established more rules for his expensive super sports car in hindsight. For example, who gets it in case of a breakup if it is registered to the ex.

In Starfield there are planets with low gravity, which can lead to quite curious and funny moments. A player was so confused by a situation that he wondered if his aimed headshot missed.
On Reddit, Unf0cused shares a video on September 14 where he shoots an enemy in Starfield in the head. The enemy seems initially unimpressed, confusing the player. He aimed precisely at the head.
While there is no skill that increases headshot chances, there are many others that are very helpful:
Why did the enemy react slowly to the shot? The player Unf0cused is according to the display on his watch in Starfield on the planet Pontus, which seems to have low gravity.
In the video on Reddit, it is clearly visible how he aims at the head of the enemy and pulls the trigger. For about 2 seconds, however, nothing happens – except that the player receives 16 XP. Does that mean he has killed an enemy?
A moment later, the game rewards him and the enemy falls in slow motion.
You can see the funny situation in the 14-second video on Reddit. It is titled “For a moment I thought I missed.” As of September 15, the post has already received over 8,000 upvotes and 220 comments:
This is what other players say about it: In the comments, some users discuss how firing bullets behaves – or should behave – in such an environment. Others describe funny situations they have experienced themselves in Starfield.
The user Sir-Cellophane comments that he accidentally killed 4 civilians with a grenade. They all fell in slow motion at the same time, despite normal gravity – he couldn’t stop laughing. Others have experienced situations where dead enemies simply stood still.
Another user describes that he set fire to an enemy’s backpack and the enemy was “thrown like a rocket against a low ceiling, in which his head was stuck. He then hung down from the ceiling, like in Looney Tunes.” A user notes: “I didn’t know this game had a cartoon mode.”
Starfield delights especially through the charming details that players can discover on their adventurous journeys through space, during spontaneous missions, and in side quests.
In a special side quest, you float weightlessly through the corridors of a spaceship while fighting space pirates and are supposed to steal alcohol:
You shouldn’t miss a brilliant quest in Starfield, as you have to fight pirates weightlessly

In Destiny 2 an extremely game-changing exploit has emerged that has quickly caught the attention of players. It allows Legendary weapons to be granted exotic perks that significantly increase damage against players, bosses, and champions. This currently turns the entire gameplay upside down and could even mean a rollback.
This extreme exploit is breaking all the rules: In Season 22, a groundbreaking exploit has emerged, first shared on the Billibili video platform and then by CheeseForever via YouTube. It’s currently throwing everything in Destiny 2’s gameplay into disarray, both in PvE and PvP.
Many players in PvP are powerless against this one-hit kill. Just like the bosses in PvE, where Guardians with their new “overpowered weapons” are currently dealing millions of damage in raids and melting all opponents in no time like ice in a volcano.
This is how the crafting exploit works: The extreme game bug currently only works with craftable exotic weapons, such as the Exo-SMG “Osteo Striga”, the fusion rifle “Dead Messenger”, or the Exo-scout rifle “Tale of a Dead Man”.
This has made it possible for players to use the Aggressive frame of the “Ragnhild-D” shotgun for the automatic rifle “Ammit AR2”, which actually has a precision frame. This gives the weapon an abnormal TTK of 0.1 seconds.
Or that the rapid-fire frame of the “Until the Return” shotgun can be used for the linear fusion rifle “Fire and Forget”, which actually has an Aggressive frame.
How crazy this is currently being utilized in the game by the Guardians is shown in a video from Destiny Bulletin.
Here you see the Legendary burst rifle “Hollow Rejection” which was illegally crafted with the Exo-perk “Trinary Vision” from the Exo-grenade launcher “Dead Messenger”. The result is a continuous fire adventure that is currently breaking the game:
Even on Reddit, players are increasingly sharing videos and combinations with Legendary weapons that defeat bosses and players in a short time using their exotic perks in crazy ways.
This has not only extremely influenced the PvE game but also the PvP experience of Destiny 2.
The streamer FalloutPlays is also amused and appalled. He shows in a video via Twitter/X the crazy and bizarre effects on PvP and suspects that Bungie can only fix this through a deactivation of the enclave, the weapon crafting center of the Guardians, or a complete rollback.
“[…] The longer this takes without a rollback, the worse it will get. You can disable crafted weapons, but how do you revert the damage without a rollback?
wrote FalloutPlays on Twitter/X
What does Bungie say about this? Bungie has already commented on the issue via Twitter/X and reacted quickly. The impact of this exploit is simply beyond belief and ultimately affects the fairness of the entire game.
What is stunning here, however, is that although the exploit makes everything unfair, they currently have no plans to disable the ongoing PvP endgame, the Trials, for this reason. They are currently only planning to reset the weapons built through the exploit.
We are aware of a problem that allows certain weapon perks to be transferred into other legendary weapons, and we are investigating a solution that will lead to these weapons being reset in the future.
Currently, we have no plans to disable Trials of Osiris due to this issue.
Bungie explained about the glitch via Twitter/X
A potential fix may therefore not come into the game until next Tuesday with the regular server downtime.
In the meantime, Bungie wants to keep an eye on things to ensure that it doesn’t get “too wild” in the game. In this regard, the Destiny2 team has supplemented the first announcement with the following message:
We are exploring all possible solutions and monitoring whether things get TOO wild and we may have to take drastic measures to ensure the health of the game. In the meantime, let’s all have some fun! Igneous Hammer will return to the Trials as soon as possible.
wrote Destiny2Team via Twitter/X
Will you get banned for exploiting? As Bungie has also communicated, players who “discover” the glitch will not receive any in-game restrictions or bans. Along with the explicit note that the use of external scripts and network manipulation tools remains punishable.
However, it should be noted that this does not clearly state what happens to players who actively exploit it. It is not clearly explained what measures may be taken against such players.
The use of exploits in video games is usually against the terms of service or the game rules of the respective game and is therefore prohibited.
Nevertheless, the statements from Bungie and this situation are currently not stopping many players from drastically exploiting, as this is nearly a guaranteed way to become flawless in the Trials this weekend, earn an Adept weapon, or complete certain PvE objectives faster.
More and more players are already resorting to fighting fire with fire and simply joining in on the “Laser Tag Weekend 2.0”.
The impact on the game is immense: The exploit makes pretty much everything unfair and distorts the entire competition. Especially for players who want to remain honest and do not want to use the exploit. They currently have no chance to counter attacks honestly in PvP.
In this context, the player AnthonyNixon states: “I won’t even try to join until it’s fixed. I already play enough weekends against cheaters. There’s no need to also play against exploits that feel like cheats.“
MyMMO will keep you updated on what and when Bungie may take further steps and will update this article accordingly.
What do you think about the exploit and Bungie’s reaction? Do you use it yourself or is it a matter of honor for you to refrain from it? And what do you think? Will there perhaps still be a rollback? Share your thoughts in the comments.
Finally, Bungie removed one of the oldest currencies in Destiny 2 because players also regularly profited illegally from glitches here:

You can choose from 82 different skills in Starfield. We show you 5 builds so that your skill allocation doesn’t end in chaos.
In Starfield, there are 82 different skills divided into 5 skill trees, which are further divided into four levels. With such a large selection, some questions may arise about where to invest your valuable skill points.
We have already shown you 5 skills that are useful at the start. Now we want to present you 5 builds to help you get the most out of your skills later in the game.
What kind of builds are these? The 5 builds we present here all serve a specific purpose and are therefore very useful throughout the game – especially if you prefer a certain playstyle.
We haven’t just chosen pure combat builds here because they focus on combat, neglecting other aspects of the role-playing experience.
Each of the named builds includes a maximum of 25 skills so that you can – if desired – raise each skill to level 4 in the first 100 levels. However, since Starfield has no level cap, you can of course learn more skills and go beyond level 100.
What kind of build is this? A pirate must be able to handle their ship and get rid of pursuing enemies. Moreover, pirates are criminal and ruthless. The Space Pirate build consists of skills that promote a criminal playstyle.
Who is this build for? The Space Pirate is especially interesting for players who like to act dishonestly. You want to pick locks, steal from NPCs, smuggle, loot corpses, and hijack spaceships? Perfect! You occasionally need to shoot your way through and get rid of annoying UC security ships? No problem!
What kind of build is this? With the Persuader, your focus is primarily on leading conversations and pushing various dialogue options. You want to convince your opponents mainly with words and are not afraid of intimidation, manipulation, or bribery.
Moreover, with this build, you will still have some skill points left even if you have maxed out all the abilities mentioned here.
Who is this build for? The Persuader is clearly aimed at RPG fans who prefer to slip into a role rather than barging through the door with a drawn weapon. However, if you do find yourself in a fight, you are skilled with certain weapons.
What kind of build is this? The Stealth Sniper build comes from Fextralife and delivers exactly what it promises: silent, undiscovered approaches and combat with sniper rifles. The goal is to move as stealthily as possible and ideally eliminate enemies with just a single shot.
Who is this build for? This build is aimed at players who prefer to take down their enemies quietly and/or from a distance. It is the perfect combination of both playstyles. If you prefer to rush into hordes of enemies with loud shouting and shotgun blasts, then this build is probably less interesting for you.
Skills marked with an asterisk (*) are not necessary for the basic build and playstyle as a Stealth Sniper. However, since you might have skill points left, they are useful skills that positively influence the gameplay experience and/or synergize with stealth approaches.
What else to consider: In Starfield, your weapons and equipment may have different perks. Some of them provide a noticeable improvement for the Stealth Sniper build, enhancing your damage while aiming or against humans.
Additionally, certain weapon mods like a scope, a long barrel, or a suppressor should be equipped, although you will need to research some modifications first. This is where the Research skills (Research Methods, Weapon Technology) you have learned come into play.
The most important perk for your helmet and spacesuit is called “Chameleon” and allows you to blend in with your surroundings. You can find a legendary spacesuit with this ability during the “Mantis” side quest, where you also get a very good ship.
What kind of build is this? The Craftsman allows you to enhance your weapons and equipment yourself. This requires a lot of resources and credits, which is why the building of an outpost is sensible.
In order to have enough credits for your projects, part of the build involves making as much money as possible. Skills like Trade, Looting, Thief, and Security are useful here.
Who is this build for? The Craftsman is aimed at players who want to enhance their weapons and equipment themselves. This requires many resources and credits, which is why the build also offers a need for an outpost.
Skills marked with an asterisk (*) are not necessary for the basic build and playstyle as a Craftsman. However, since you might have skill points left, they are useful skills that enable you to utilize your outpost even better for resource extraction and selling excess materials.
What kind of build is this? The Jetpack Fighter is nearly the exact opposite of the Stealth Sniper. Instead of sneaking and fighting from a distance, this build engages in close combat. You charge at enemies with battle cries and let them feel the blasts from your shotgun up close.
To match this, there are skills that enhance your abilities in combat, skills that prepare your physical condition for such fights, and skills that help you craft mods for your weapons and suits to deal even more damage.
Who is this build for? The build is intended for players who prefer to fight at short range and enjoy flying with the boost pack.
What else to consider: The Jetpack Fighter also benefits from various modifications for weapons and suits. So make use of the weapons workbench and research stations, and tailor your weapons to your individual needs.
If you are still looking for good weapons:
Starfield offers 2 weapons that should actually be bad, but they are among the best in the game

Romances in Baldur’s Gate 3 are great. But the rejections your companions can give you can be really painful. You might go to bed crying.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, most of the time it’s about a mysterious cult, plenty of side quests, and finding creative ways to kill yourself and all NPCs in the game as efficiently as possible.
But sometimes, amidst this chaos, there’s a little bit of time for romance and you try to get one or the other in the camp – only to fail regularly. That the lines from those beloved companions can sometimes hurt, is shown by a post in the subreddit of Baldur’s Gate 3 that summarizes many experiences.
Especially Astarion is known as a heartbreaker. This is not only because he likes to reject players, but also because of his particularly dismissive line that is hard to beat in arrogance and malice.
“It’s not you. It’s me. I have standards.”
These words from Astarion have sparked the Reddit post from Direwisp, which has now collected over 6,000 upvotes. In it, others also share their experiences and reveal with what crushing words they have been rejected.
So Astarion says in response to the question of what to do in the evening besides drinking and partying:
“Sex is great! Not with you, of course.”
By the way, Karlach can be just as devastating. When she is asked: “Are you and Tav actually together?” she likes to respond with:
“Eww, of course not, we’re just comrades.”
Yeah, Karlach, that hurts.
But Shadowheart can also be pretty cold – but that’s why we kind of love her. When you ask her “too early” about intimate activities, she responds:
“I’m not one of the tiefling maidens with sparkling eyes that you just saved. You’ll have to show more legwork before I let you persuade me to hip work.”
And because this humiliation doesn’t seem to be enough, Lazarus also regularly comes by and mocks you for not having a partner so far and having to lie alone in bed.
Yes, Baldur’s Gate 3 can be really cruel at times.
Have you also had such experiences with the failed romances in Baldur’s Gate 3? What line has brought you down the most?

Preventing your own death – in the hard version of WoW Classic this is important. An engineer item saves many lives.
The way to level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic is tough. It’s even tougher in the “Hardcore” version of the game, because there a single death permanently costs your character’s life. Once dead, there is nothing left to do but delete the character.
Therefore, many players try to secure themselves with as many items as possible to escape death in case of an emergency. But few can match an engineer item.
What item are we talking about? We are referring to the “Target Dummy”, which is an engineering item that summons a small dummy that immediately taunts all nearby enemies and draws their attention. The player Verdidically_ reveals in the subreddit what makes these items so good:
Target dummies are cheap. On [my realm] you can craft them for 8 Silver each.
They attract aggro almost instantly. The stone claw totem may take a few seconds for its pulse, but the target dummy only takes about 0.5 seconds after you set it up.
They have huge amounts of health for their level. Keep in mind that you can get them as early as level 14 or so, when normal mobs have between 100 and 200 HP and elite mobs maybe between 400 and 500. The dummies already have 968. […]
Later, there are even better dummies that have significantly more health and can even tie multiple elite opponents to themselves at once.
These dummies are often combined with a “Hurtigkeitstrank”, allowing your character to flee even faster. With this, it’s even possible to escape the nasty local guards of the enemy faction – they usually make quick work of player characters.
The community swears by dummies: The general usefulness of dummies in WoW Classic Hardcore is undisputed – anyone who doesn’t have one as an engineer is simply leaving a big safety item behind.
Do you also have any items that you swear by? What has saved you from premature death in WoW Classic HC?
