A new patch for World of Warcraft Classic has been found. This could indicate that Classic players can soon experience new content.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic is slowly coming to an end with the fall of the Lich King, even though there is still a small raid ahead. But then it will be over, and the Classic community has to hope that Blizzard presents something new. A new season, a new addon, or servers with a fresh start.
But now a patch has been found that is being prepared in the background. And this could mean new content.
What has been found? A new WoW version with the patch number “1.15” was found in the background of Battle.net – suggesting that it is an update for WoW Classic. The version is not accessible to regular players, but probably only for a few selected testers – presumably only the developers themselves.

In fact, this internal WoW version has existed since April 2023. Since then, it has been updated weekly. Whatever the WoW team is preparing there seems to be something bigger for Classic – or something that simply requires a lot of work.
What could this patch be? The theories vary significantly. Some speculate that patch “1.15” could be a new season. So similar to the championship season or the “hardcore” mode, it could be a new season directing focus on different game content.
Another theory, however, is that this could be a “WoW Classic+” that fans have been asking for a long time. The hope is that there will be entirely new content, but developed in the style of “Vanilla”.
Lastly, it could also be possible that this patch refers to the “next expansion” of WoW Classic – that would be Cataclysm. However, this seems rather unlikely, as the patch number would probably be more like 4.X or something comparable.
When will we learn more? Even though the patch is already found in the background of Battle.net, we will probably find out what patch 1.15 is all about first at BlizzCon on November 3, 2023. Because then Blizzard will reveal how things will proceed with World of Warcraft – and this applies to both Classic and WoW: Dragonflight.
What do you hope is behind patch 1.15?

Hardly has a player, after 10 years, achieved all the achievements in Final Fantasy 14, when an extra hard challenge could be looming. Producer Naoki Yoshida has offered the player that the development team at Square Enix would think of a particularly tough task in the MMORPG for him, if he wishes.
He plays on the data center Elemental (World: Garuda), thus he is in Japan
10 years after the release of the MMORPG, he has been able to collect all 26,000 available achievement points
With each new expansion, additional achievements are unlocked. Therefore, the player will have to invest numerous more hours into the MMORPG at the latest with the new Dawntrail expansion to stay at 100%.
You can watch the new expansion in the following video:

Naoki Yoshida wants to create an extra hard challenge
What does Yoshida offer? Meanwhile, the news that someone has achieved all successes has also reached producer Naoki Yoshida.
At the fan festival that took place last weekend in London, he congratulated the player. As the creator of an MMORPG, it is fantastic to see that a player would spend so much time in a game.
Yoshida makes the player an offer he must contact the development team about:
Of course, we will continue to incorporate achievements into the game, but whether we create an achievement with a higher difficulty level depends entirely on this particular player. If he wishes it, then we would of course be happy to do it. In this case, he just has to send us a message in the forum.
Yoshida promises that he will stick to it and would create a particularly challenging challenge for the player if he wishes. However, the producer does not reveal what this challenge could look like.
For success, the player had to invest not only numerous hours into the game but also perform nearly impossible moves in the game. One of the meanest achievements the player had to grapple with is obtaining the title “the Legend.” So far, only 7.7% of all players have claimed the achievement (via ffxivcollect.com).
To do this, a boss must be defeated who has many deadly attacks. Players must memorize his attack pattern; otherwise, they will meet their demise. Because players are scaled down for the boss, he remains an extremely hard challenge even today.
Actually, Season 2 is a big success for Diablo 4 according to initial feedback – or at least a significant improvement over Season 1. However, one thing is increasingly bothering players. Blizzard has indeed improved the controversial upgrade system, but at the same time it has made it worse.
This is how Season 2 is received:
Since October 17, Season 2 has been live and brought several improvements. It is now easier to acquire the best items, finding items is no longer as exhausting.
What annoys the players: One of the significant changes of the season or the accompanying patches concerns the upgrade system and reroll system. If you wanted to perfect a good item, you usually had to reroll the stats at the occultist.
Now, with Season 2, the gold problem has practically been eliminated. You receive more gold from many sources; chests in hell tides or from trees now generously provide enough money to secure your wealth.
However, there is now a new restriction: for rerolling, you need Forgotten Souls. However, it seems that there are fewer of them, and only available at specific times.
Some of the best items can even be found at vendors:

“Make hell tide 24/7, people have lives”
In a large thread on Reddit, players discuss what disadvantages the new system brings. The problem is less the material costs themselves, but the fact that these materials are not always available.
Forgotten Souls and Devil’s Roses, which you need for rerolling, are reliably only available in hell tides. However, these only appear at specific times. Those who have to work or do not always have time may, with some bad luck, rarely or not at all be able to participate in the tides. Moreover, you also need the souls to upgrade items.
Consequently, while it is now de facto ‘easier’ to get the desired equipment, it is also less accessible. Especially since, according to other users, there are also significantly fewer souls: Hawkwise93 writes that he got just 35 souls in a full hour with 7 chests. You need 2 souls and 3 roses per reroll.
Players still admit that Season 2 does a lot of things right. This is just one of a few points that can be criticized: ‘That’s the only L I’ve found in the whole patch, but it’s a big one. I’m not going into the hell tide mines to reroll my gear.’
Users say that this cannot be Blizzard’s intention to make the feature so inaccessible. It will probably still be adjusted. It at least led to fewer gold sellers – but the need for materials has apparently revived an age-old problem:
In World of Horror, players must solve supernatural cases while also preventing the end of the world. If they get that far, because one wrong decision can be deadly quickly. On Steam, 93% of players like it.
What kind of game is this? World of Horror is a horror game heavily inspired by the works of the legendary mangaka Junji Itō. It places players in a fictional version of the Japanese city of Shiokawa in the 1990s.
Playing as one of the various playable characters, players must try to uncover supernatural occurrences. Meanwhile, the end of the world looms closer, triggered by a monster that could also be from H.P. Lovecraft.
However, most players won’t get that far in most runs, as the game is designed in a Roguelite manner, where you frequently meet your demise.
The eerie atmosphere is generated by the 1-bit visuals drawn by the developer pansasz in MS Paint, as well as the similarly retro-sounding soundtrack. You can get a glimpse of both in the following release trailer, which was released at the end of Early Access on October 19, 2023.
World of Horror is available for PC on all major platforms and can also be played on the Steam Deck. The full console release is expected to follow. Until November 2, you will only pay €14.62 instead of the full price of €19.50.

Trailer makes fans dream of their own series
How is the game received? World of Horror currently has an all-time rating of 93% recommendations on Steam, putting it in the “Very Positive” category. However, for the last 30 days, it has dropped to only 83%.
Players especially highlight the eerie music, nostalgic graphics, and overall atmosphere.
However, if you have an interest in World of Horror, you should keep in mind that it can feel quite unfair at times due to the RNG elements – but that seems to be more of a plus for fans of horror and roguelites in the reviews. It makes you feel truly helpless.
The release trailer is also received extremely positively, although some players are left wanting to see these animations in the game. We have summarized some of the reactions here for you:
rudeboyspodcast: ‘This is probably the best trailer for an indie game I’ve ever seen. Damn it, they’ve shot beyond the target all the way to space. So many details, the sound design, the shots, the editing, the incredibly smooth animation.’
kidam4475: ‘I can’t stop watching this trailer. I love the animations so much and seeing how each character experiences the events you can encounter in the game is so cool. […]’
Impoxdragon: ’11/10 trailer! The music is great and the animation is super clean. I want a real series about World of Horror.’
Currently, there are no known plans for a series about World of Horror, but fans should be delighted about the adaptation of Uzumaki, the classic from the inspiration Junji Itō. You can find out more from the colleagues at GamePro.
If the quirky look of World of Horror doesn’t put you off – or even appeals to you – this game could be just right for Halloween. Similarly black-and-white also goes in a space board game that launched on Steam in the summer:
The wizard in Diablo 4 can shock his enemies with ball lightning and the associated electrical discharges, destroying them in just a few seconds. An outstanding build for both normal and endgame content. Everything about the build in Season 2 can be found here.
Update, October 23: The build is up to date and ready to be used in Season 2. The appropriate vampire skills have been added.
What kind of build is this? This build revolves around the ability “Ball Lightning”. You summon ball lightning, creating a deadly electric environment within a small radius. A perfect build if you want to send many enemies to the afterlife at once or defeat bosses.
This build comes from maxroll.gg from content creator Northwar.
How to play the build: First, you spam your Ball Lightning until you have a large lightning ring around you. Now you run or teleport into a mass of enemies. Destroy them and generate crackling energy. You can collect this when you have low mana in your reserves. Against tougher enemies, you additionally use Frost Nova or Unstable Current. For defensive skills, you use Ice Armor and Flame Shield.

According to new information, Ubisoft is supposedly working on two projects related to Far Cry: Far Cry 7 and a multiplayer shooter similar to Escape from Tarkov. The new extraction shooter is set to be developed in Canada, at Ubisoft Montreal. Its tentative title is ‘Project Maverick.’
Where does the information come from? The information comes from Tom Henderson, a well-known leaker who frequently reveals information about major gaming titles. The information was made public on Sunday evening.
Here are the details: Originally, the extraction shooter was part of a project that was meant to become Far Cry 7. However, after changes in management, both titles are now independent projects:
Firstly, the new Far Cry 7 – project name ‘Blackbird’.
A multiplayer game named ‘Project Maverick.’
The Far Cry series has survived a lot, even Til Schweiger and Uwe Boll:

Alaska instead of Russia: Is Far Cry banking on the hype genre?
What do we know about the shooter? It is said that the project has been reworked multiple times and has been in development for several years. It is supposed to take place in a village called Alashina in Alaska. Players have been lured to the region with the promise of freedom, but now they see a land in chaos, where no one trusts each other.
Players are to search the environment for resources to survive: This will require skinning animals or tracking down chemicals. Players will harvest plants for herbal remedies and find weapon parts. Ammunition casings are also in demand.
Players are to use a hideout as an operations base where they can store found weapons and equipment.
What is supposed to make the game special? It all sounds very much like Escape from Tarkov. However, it should also be possible to work in teams.
The game is supposed to punish deaths harshly: players lose all items, perks, and levels upon dying – except for items that are in the hideout.
When is it supposed to come out? A release date is set for April 2025, and an alpha is expected to start in the first half of 2024.
How is it being discussed? There are clear parallels to Escape from Tarkov here. On reddit people criticize that Ubisoft seems to be chasing the next trend. This already went horribly wrong with ‘Hyper Scape.’
As a positive example of a strong extraction game, ‘Hunt: Showdown’ is mentioned.
However, some on reddit see a chance for a game like Escape from Tarkov, but it has to meet several requirements:
It must be more accessible than Tarkov
Neither too hardcore nor too casual
Show better loading times than Tarkov
Successful indie game often triggers waves of major titles
What’s behind this: This is a pattern that repeats itself in gaming constantly. There is an “indie game” that inexplicably performs better than anyone can explain, but is considered “raw” or “unapproachable.”
Major studios then try to develop more accessible, mass-appeal versions of this pioneering game:
16 years ago it was Everquest or Ultima Online, which inspired a “World of Warcraft”
7 years ago, there was a mod for ARMA 3 that first inspired “PUBG” and later brought about Fortnite in 2017. Titles like CoD: Warzone are also consequences of the Battle Royale hype.
In survival games, studios have tried for several years to develop their response to ‘DayZ’, ‘ARK’, or ‘Rust’: one result of this was Fallout 76, a new game from Blizzard is still pending.
Now, it seems to be the turn of ‘Escape from Tarkov’ and ‘Hunt: Showdown’, with numerous extraction shooters currently in development. Some of them have already failed miserably. There hasn’t been much heard about Rainbow Six Extraction for a long time.
Ubisoft’s attempt to copy the latest trend hasn’t gone well:
A candidate for the worst game of 2023 comes from Hamburg: The Lord of the Rings – Gollum received terrible reviews on Steam and Metacritic upon its release in May. But a new game about King Kong is now giving it competition: Skull Island: Rise of Kong. True haters of Gollum won’t let that go unchallenged.
Where does Gollum stand? The adventure from Hamburg was supposed to become a AAA game from Germany in May 2023, but it turned out to be a complete failure and ended the development career of the acclaimed studio Daedalic, which had built a good reputation in Germany over the years with great adventures.
An insider report revealed how the failed game came to be. The sad low point: An apology letter to the fans, in which the title of the game was misspelled, was allegedly generated by the publisher using AI ChatGPT. The developers had no idea about it:
On Steam, Gollum currently has 35% positive reviews.
On Metacritic, it has a disastrous user score of 1.2/10 points on PC.
The game was priced at €50 at release.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum received poorly – HandOfBlood plays it anyway, puts in a lot of effort, even plays in cosplay
On Steam, “Skull Island” has 36% positive reviews – although most were likely written ironically.
However, on Metacritic, the game has now reached 3.6/10 reviews instead of the previous 1.2/10 points. So not so bad anymore.
How is the duel going?? As the site Dexerto suspects, the relatively positive score of the King Kong game on Metacritic may come from users wanting to ensure that Gollum remains the worst game of 2023.
Some reviews are written sarcastically:
One 10/10 review carries the comment: “I will now play as the giant ape forever and ever. It is the best ape game of all time.”
Another player writes: “This is the best game I have ever played. I wish Elden Ring were as good.”

Pranksters even give terrible games positive reviews
Were there such reviews for Gollum as well? Yes, Gollum also had some positive reviews on Steam that were clearly sarcastic.
For example, one user apparently rated Gollum in role prose on Steam:
“Nasty, fat developer should have let the game mature longer, then it would be fresh and lively and not so nasty. As it is, it’s not worth more than 15 coins. Gollum Gollum!”
Another player praised the “immersive storytelling” and a frame rate that sometimes even exceeds 9 FPS. He asks: What more could a Gollum gamer want?
Apparently, no game is so bad that you can’t find something good about it. Even if it’s only to make another game look worse.
As autumn and darkness fall upon the Destiny 2 universe, Bungie celebrates its Halloween event. This year, not much has fundamentally changed. But there is something that makes the Festival of the Lost interesting: Guardians are constantly insulted.
What is different this year for Halloween? Guardians love surprises. However, Bungie hasn’t changed much in the activities of the Halloween event for 2023.
Players once again explore the so-called Haunted Sectors, “remodeled” for Halloween, and collect candies in various activities to discover the now third lore book, “Stories of the Forgotten”.
Nothing new so far.
However, the Festival of the Lost 2023 has changed one thing: Guardians are regularly insulted. But while some find this quite good, others are annoyed.
If you have no idea how Halloween looks in Destiny 2, then check out this video:

Destiny 2 celebrates the Festival of the Lost in 2023 with creepy bug looks
The best thing about the Halloween event 2023 is Savathûn’s ghost
What has changed for Halloween in 2023: While the sectors have remained the same, one thing has still changed in the Halloween event. And it’s not the new memento that is currently spreading FOMO in Destiny 2 – the fear of missing out.
It is mainly the voice lines that differ, as 2023 saw the mischievous ghost of Savathûn, Immaru, getting involved.
Immaru appeared after the DLC “The Witch Queen” in the patrols of Savathûn’s Throne World and in the storyline of Season 22. Since then, he regularly mocks the Guardians in Destiny 2 by calling them meatballs or neo-nerds.
Most ghosts in Destiny 2 are serious and hardworking, but also boring. However, Immaru certainly speaks his mind and proves that he is not a typical ghost.
No wonder some players felt the urge to squash him in one situation or another during the story campaign of Season 22.
But his days don’t seem to be numbered yet.
“The culprit”: Immaru, Savathûn’s ghost
For Halloween, Immaru has broken out of his small dark room, into which Eris Morn had banished him after the end of the Season 22 story, and now tells the Guardians on their outings in the Haunted Sectors what he thinks of them: namely nothing.
Immaru received several voice lines for the Halloween event 2023 that he utters depending on the Guardian class and sector. Some are heard very often. Others are rare, but no less funny. From creepy puns, nasty insults to dark sarcasm, everything is included.
If you take too long at the summoning circle, Immaru asks: “Are you finally standing in the circle! Even vermin follow commands better than you. My goodness!”
When you’re in the summoning circle, he eggs you on: “Is it that hard to shoot and collect while standing in a circle? Hmm … Amateurs!”
Things get precarious? Immaru has a clear opinion on that too: “Don’t expect me to save your butt if you mess it up.”
Moreover, “Daddy Immaru” as he likes to call himself, wants evidence that it was not a waste of time for him to interfere this Halloween.
When asked if the Hive created these headless monsters, he says: “Would be nice! Then I would have already sent a whole army of them after you. But don’t worry, the Hive knows plenty of other ways to kill you!”
Even Ikora, the noble guardian of knowledge and representative of the Warlocks at the Vanguard, fully feels the impudent nature of the Hive’s ghost in a voice line.
When she wants to send him back to the Tower so he can learn about the meaning of the festival that honors those who have passed on, Immaru interrupts her announcement and throws in: “Oh, then get out of here! So I can celebrate that you’re gone.”
All alone in the sector on the Moon, he becomes a little sentimental and says: “This place isn’t so bad. Cursed serfs, strictly following the motto ‘All you can kill’. […] Aah, you just know how to treat a ghost.”
Squash or smile? The decision isn’t always easy with Immaru.
Entertaining, but annoying in the long run
What does the community say about the cheeky ghost? Unfortunately, Immaru’s jokes wear off at some point and can become really annoying.
While at first one chuckled over his entries, after many runs, one reaches a point where they are annoyed by his voice lines. They seem to come a bit too often.
Some players even wonder if Bungie is overdoing it with Immaru. After all, it’s hard to focus on the fights and quests of the Halloween event when Immaru shows up with a “If something rips your head off, I’ll laugh my head off”.
The Guardian DominusTitus still sees it positively: “Actually, I think he’s great. There’s no need to get Frankenstein’s monster to replace him.”
And Personal_Ad_7897 thinks: “Yes, he insults your loadout and your mods. But he is annoyingly entertaining. It doesn’t feel forced or like bad writing, but is funny and witty, matching his characterization.”
Others, however, have already reached their personal Immaru limit and have even disabled all voice lines in the game because of it.
Grissy for example cannot understand the Immaru enthusiasm and writes on Reddit: “I never understood why other players like him so much. I understand that he is supposed to be portrayed as an annoying, self-satisfied type, but he does that too well. So instead of having a character in the game whose main feature is ‘annoying’, I realize that I’m simply annoyed. It’s a subtle distinction, but an important one. […] I’ve heard the same insult four times in a row, all within 20 seconds. That’s definitely too much Immaru. […]”
Also cralfie thinks: “‘Neo-nerds’ quickly becomes monotonous and annoying, although I like that he says the things we all shout at our teammates when they can’t hear us and mess up an activity.”
Technophilie on the other hand has already reached their personal Immaru limit: “During Season 22 I loved it. Now I want to squash him and kill him in all realities forever because he can’t keep his mouth shut […]”
But however one may see it. xDiddle sees it relaxed: “He is a bit annoying, yes. But that’s exactly what his character portrayal aims for. He’s somewhat of a ‘bully’ character. Some may not like that, but that means it worked.”
Immaru, the endlessly arrogant ghost of Savathûn, seems to be the best thing about the Halloween event 2023 in Destiny 2 for some, alongside the memento of black leather.
He makes Guardians chuckle, which is good, even if he sometimes goes a bit overboard and his lines can be somewhat annoying in the long run. However, one should still let oneself be insulted by his lines on the way through the event and enjoy his malicious antics.
How do you feel about Immaru? Is he a successful Destiny 2 character that you enjoy being insulted by? Or do you wish you could box him up and vaporize it with your super? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
At the Fan Festival for Final Fantasy XIV in London, there was a wonderful scene with the boss of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida, and the legendary developer of the series “Final Fantasy”, the 60-year-old Hironobu Sakaguchi.
This is the situation:
Final Fantasy is one of the most successful game franchises in the world: The first part was released in 1987 for the NES.
The creator of the series is the now 60-year-old Hironobu Sakaguchi. He directed the development of the first five games of Final Fantasy and continued to be involved with the series up until Final Fantasy X-2 in 2003, most recently as Executive Producer.
At the Fan Festival for the MMORPG in London, Sakaguchi participated in a panel, alongside the head of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida. The Final Fantasy legends answered questions from the audience on stage.
By the way, we were also there for you at the Fan Fest:

Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival London 2023
The creator of Final Fantasy has been in the MMORPG fever since 2021
Here was the question: It is widely known how much Sakaguchi loves the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. Since 2021, he has spent 12 hours a day on FF 14. He shared his experiences and assessments of the game at that time on Twitter.
This was the creator’s response: When asked about the advances to work on the MMORPG, the father of the series spontaneously and quickly replied:
Absolutely not! If I make that part of my work, I will know what happens behind the scenes, and I will no longer be able to enjoy the content when I create it myself. So no offense, but no!
This was the reaction from the hall: Even during the translation, laughter came from the audience. The hall applauded enthusiastically and laughed at the response of the 60-year-old.
The head of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida, did not want to give up so easily. He added that he would find it fantastic to work with Sakaguchi, but he would not push him. Spurred on by a reaction from the audience, Yoshida suggested that perhaps the original father could be lured into development by designing small content pieces: a bit of seasonal content.
“Of course not,” came the renewed refusal – this time even in English, much to the delight of the audience.
From 8:12 hours, the segment begins with a viewer question:

How is this being discussed? On Reddit, there is a lot of understanding for the 60-year-old. They also know there that when you make a hobby your profession, it becomes increasingly difficult to enjoy it: “When you are too close to development, it ruins the magic.”
Gabe Newell had already said that his favorite game from Valve is Portal 2. He hardly worked on it and was only a little involved as a consultant.
The 17-year-old Twitch streamer Fibii experienced an unpleasant surprise when her mother confronted her about alleged registrations on “adult sites”. Fibii denied the allegations and explained that her business email might have been misused.
Who is Fibii? Fibi “xFibii“ Pfeiffer (17) has experienced an impressive rise on the streaming platform Twitch, building a massive fanbase of over 650,000 followers on her Twitch channel within 3 years.
Whether on Madeira or at the mixing console – These are 5 of the biggest German Twitch streamers
“Did you register on any adult sites?”
What did her mother say to her? Her mother plays an important role in Fibii’s life. She takes care of financial matters and the management of her business email account.
In a recent stream, the 17-year-old shared that her mother had visited her about two weeks prior. Her mother entered her room and began the conversation with the words: “Fibii, we need to talk. This could be uncomfortable“.
Her mother showed her various emails that suggested the Twitch streamer had registered on three different “adult sites“. The mother wanted to know if Fibii was actually active on these sites.
How did Fibii react to the situation? She was visibly surprised by this unexpected question and responded: “Mom, I probably do that with my business email, right?“.
She tried to clarify the situation and explained to her mother that it is quite possible that other people from the internet had misused her business email to register on such sites, perhaps with the intention of annoying her. After all, she has to constantly deal with people who dislike her.
In her Twitch stream, Fibii expressed her shock that her mother trusts her to do something like that. She said: “Hey, she thought I was registering on porn sites with my business email and subscribing to things.”

He lists some of the monsters that Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra will use at the start of the event. According to him, you should definitely catch the pre-evolutions of the following Pokémon in the order listed (via reddit.com):
Rameidon
Rihornior
Skelabra
Gengar
Stalobor
The user shows in some tables how these Pokémon perform against the competition. Especially Rameidon and Rihornior are said to be strong Pokémon worth grinding. Overall, the event feels more like Christmas than Halloween, as Niantic is “giving away” extremely strong Pokémon.
The user is even sure: This is the best lineup of Shadow Pokémon there has ever been. He is already looking forward to grinding at the event and strengthening his team in PvP and PvE.
In the comments, there are many users who have only small remarks and are otherwise grateful for the work the fan has put into his tables.
There are more Shadow Pokémon during the event, so the agony of choice may be difficult. You can find the other Pokémon here:
You can recognize Shadow Pokémon by their red eyes and the purple smoke surrounding them. They also differ in their stats: They are stronger, cost more Stardust to level up, and have the move Frustration.
Shadow Pokémon can be redeemed for some Stardust and candies. Then they receive a bonus of two points on each stat. However, it is sometimes worth keeping the Pokémon in its Shadow version.
In The Elder Scrolls Online you can invest your skill points into various abilities. But what happens if you have messed up your skills? Or if you want to change your playstyle? We at MeinMMO will reveal how you can reset your abilities.
How can I reset my skills? You can reset your abilities and attributes at specific shrines. These are located in different places for each member of a faction.
However, you can recognize them by a specific marker on the map.
As a member of the Aldmeri Dominion, you must visit the region of Grathwald and enter the city of Eldenroot. The names of the shrines are Stendarr (Skill) and Auriel (Attribute).
Players from the Ebonheart Pact need to go to the region of Deshaan and visit the Gramfeste. The names of the shrines are Stuhn (Skill) and Kyne (Attribute).
The Daggerfall Covenant has the shrines located in the region of Sturmhafen in the city of Wegesruh. The shrine names there are Shrine of the Father of Mysteries (Skill) and Shrine of the Warrior-Poet (Attribute).
In this picture we show you as an example how the shrines look in the Gramfeste, as they can be easily overlooked while passing by:
What does it cost to reset skill points? For each point – regardless if skill or attribute – you have to pay 50 gold.
With skill points, however, you also have the option to redistribute individual points and not reset everything at once. By the way, you only pay for the spent points, not for the total accumulated skill points.
For attributes, you can only reset everything at once.
How do I reset Champion Points? This, on the other hand, is much easier. You just have to open the appropriate menu and then press “F” to redistribute. This will cost you a bit of gold, but you don’t have to visit a specific place.

Diablo 4 has gained a resurgence with the current Season 2. After some disappointments post-release and with Season 1, many players are now satisfied with the ARPG. Now they hope that everything they like will continue to stay the same.
The most important things about Season 2:
Season 2 started on October 17 and is expected to last for another 3 months. You can find all information about Season 2 here.
What players are saying now: The new mechanics and changes in Season 2 are well received, as measured by the positive comments on Reddit and Co. Especially the fact that no class is left behind anymore delights the fans.
It is now possible to create “OP builds” and to a greater extent than before. Sorceresses, for example, who were previously considered the absolutely weakest class, can melt Uber Lilith in seconds with ball lightning. This is mainly due to the vampiric powers.
Such possibilities are what makes gaming fun for people in games like Diablo, and what is currently happening in Season 2 is the right way (via Reddit):
This is not a competitive game just for a few streamers. Let the “normal” players enjoy more than one build per season too. Please, Blizzard, do not listen to the nolife streamers, do not nerf this to infinity.
Hundreds of users agree here and in other threads. It is said, for example: “If Blizzard keeps these OP builds around, I might even stick with this season to play them.” Especially compared to the last season, this is a tremendous improvement.
Vampires are the big theme in Season 2:

“The game feels good now. It just needs more things to do”
In one of the largest threads with over 2,200 upvotes and 682 comments, players analyze the current state a bit more closely. The creator TheFaub believes that anything that is not a bug does not need a nerf.
It is perfectly fine if a few builds are absurdly strong for a season. Now these are overwhelming builds or the ball lightning of the sorceress. Next season it could be corpse explosions of the necromancers or hunters with grenades.
As long as the builds are strong only because of their mechanics and not due to an exploit, there is no reason to nerf them. “Flavor of the Month” is part of it and is perfectly fine; seasonal strengths are meant for such crazy, time-limited powers.
Ironically, sorceresses have apparently sparked the discussion. Now that they have a strong build, all other classes supposedly feel useless – as if they are missing out on something. Players say, however: then just play another sorceress. No one is stopping you.
Overall, Diablo 4 is now at a good point in Season 2. Just a bit more endgame content than nightmare dungeons and Uber bosses would be nice to have. Nevertheless, it is still better than in Season 1, where there was neither anything to do nor was the game fun.
In EA FC 24 there is currently an Icon SBC that can bring you an icon for your team. But is the completion worth it? We look at all possible icons.
What kind of Icon SBC is this? The SBC (Squad Building Challenge) is called “Max.-87-Icon-Upgrade” and is available in Ultimate Team for two more days.
Here you can get an icon with a maximum overall rating of 87. To do this, you need to fulfill the following tasks:
Submit a team with an overall value of 85
Submit a team with an overall value of 86
Since you don’t have to pay attention to chemistry conditions, the SBC is at least easy to solve from a construction perspective. You just need high-rated players – but they can be expensive. If you need coins for that, you can get them through trading in EA FC 24.
What does the Icon SBC cost? If you look up on the portal futbin , the SBC is priced at about 150,000 coins (as of: October 23). However, this only applies if you need to buy all players anew. If you already have SBC fodder in your club, the challenge could be cheaper.
But is the SBC even worth the investment? We list all available icons with current prices.

All icons you can get from the “Max.-87-Icon-Upgrade” SBC in EA FC 24
What kind of list is this? Here we show you all icons that are ordered by price (via futbin) (as of October 23, 2023, 1:00 PM). But keep in mind that the transfer market in EA FC 24 is dynamic and prices can change constantly. However, the list provides a way to gauge whether the SBC is worth it for you.
All icons from the SBC with market price
These are the risks: You should consider several points to decide whether the SBC is worth it for you.
The icon is untradeable – so you cannot sell it. It won’t bring you any coins on the transfer market.
The chance of pulling one of the weaker icons is present. In the worst case, you may pull an icon that does not benefit you.
If you already have a lot of card fodder in your club that you want to get rid of anyway, the SBC might be worthwhile.
Is the SBC worth it? That is difficult to answer, as it is pure luck which icon you get.
If you get a card like Torres, Essien, Vidic, or Zambrotta, then the SBC is great. But if you pull Rush, Keane, or Kluivert, you might be disappointed at the end. Also, unfortunately, the SBC lacks absolute top legends with a rating over 87.
One thing is clear: If you are currently working on improving your team, you should not rely on the Icon SBC. It’s better to invest your coins in players from the transfer market where you know what you are getting.
Try to only attempt the Icon SBC if your team is currently set and you can reduce the cost of the SBC using players from your club. The chance of getting one of the top icons from the list is low – and the icons from this challenge cannot be sold on the market.

In Diablo 4, it is currently possible to duplicate items and gold. This is a thorn in Blizzard’s side, and thus trading has been disabled in Season 2.
Why is trading being disabled? Blizzard disabled player trading in Diablo 4 on October 23, 2023. In a statement on the official forum of the developers, community manager “filthierich” states that the reason is a duplication exploit.
In addition, it is stated that the team behind the Hack’n’Slay is working on a solution to the problem and wants to keep players updated as soon as trading is possible again (via forums.blizzard.com)

This is a duplication exploit that requires a second player. We will not reveal how exactly the exploit works. According to some users on Reddit, the exploit is so simple that you could even accidentally do it (via Reddit).
What happens to accounts that exploited it? Players who exploited the duplication must expect a penalty according to Blizzard.
The forum states regarding this: “Any account that duplicates gold and items will be penalized in accordance with our end-user license agreement (via forums.blizzard.com).”
How long will trading be disabled? The duration of Blizzard’s trading ban is currently unknown. However, past experience gives hope that trading will be enabled again soon.
The duplication of gold and items has a long history in Diablo, as players can easily obtain amounts that would otherwise only be possible with a lot of grinding. In Diablo 2, the exploits for duplicating gold were so severe that players eventually established rare items like the “Stone of Jordan” as a new currency.
The Swedish Twitch streamer Sebastian “Forsen” Fors and former Overwatch pro Félix “xQc” Lengyel have been at odds for over 3 years: They try to outdo each other in speedruns of the block game Minecraft. Currently, Forsen is in the lead and explains why xQc cannot win.
What is the record about? Since its release in 2011, Minecraft has become a real evergreen on Twitch and YouTube, and content creators keep coming up with new challenges to test their skills.
2020 was marked by speedruns: Numerous large content creators attempted to complete the open-world game as quickly as possible. Among them, two Twitch streamers stood out: xQc and Forsen.
Throughout the year, the streamers repeatedly outdid each other, and by the end of 2020 both managed to defeat the Ender Dragon in under 30 minutes. While the streamers are far from the official world record of 7 minutes and 45 seconds (via speedrun.com), they are only interested in beating each other.
In October 2023, Forsen succeeded in beating xQc’s record set in May of this year by 1 minute and 10 seconds with a time of 15 minutes and 28 seconds. Additionally, the streamer explained why he is superior to his rival.

From Overwatch professional to number 1 on Twitch to 100 million $ – Who is xQc?
Forsen has what xQc lacks
Why does Forsen see himself as the winner? After the Twitch streamer crushed his rival’s best time, he explained why xQc cannot beat him: He simply lacks the willpower.
The Swede has completely committed to Minecraft in 2023: He has spent 72% of his stream time on the game, almost 1,194 hours (via TwitchTracker, as of 23.10.2023, 12:30).
In contrast, xQc has spent only 20.5% of his streamed time on Twitch on it (via TwitchTracker, as of 23.10.2023, 12:30).
Instead, xQc is primarily found in the “Just Chatting” category, where he keeps himself entertained with reactions. Additionally, the “Juicer” has increasingly been on the competing platform Kick since the signing of his $70 million non-exclusive contract.
However, he mainly shows gambling and Counter-Strike instead of Minecraft there. Forsen seems confident that his rival is not willing to give up his other content to focus solely on the record.
It’s impossible. You don’t understand, Chat, you don’t understand, okay? It’s a huge commitment. You have to be willing to kill your stream, right? To achieve that. He’s not [laughs]. He’s not.
It doesn’t matter how much [he streams]. 16 hours a day streaming, damn gamer goblin. It doesn’t matter. You have to commit. You have to sell your soul, okay? That’s what it takes to set a record.
In fact, xQc seems to have made no attempts so far to beat Forsen’s record. It remains to be seen whether the streamer will actually concede so easily and whether the feud that has lasted more than 3 years is simply over.
Currently, xQc probably has other worries than Minecraft, as the streamer has been in a public war of roses with his ex-girlfriend Adept since September 2022. In early October, the dispute escalated again:
The MOBA genre is controlled by two giants: Dota 2 and League of Legends. But shortly after the release of LoL, Heroes of Newerth (HoN) also came out. It was supposed to be the big rival of LoL, but it died shortly after because its approaches did not fit the then-new genre.
The origin of the MOBA genre lies in Defense of the Ancients, a Warcraft 3 mod. Riot Games wanted to bring this experience to life as a standalone game with League of Legends. LoL was released in October 2009 and was considered the first standalone representative. But shortly after, in May 2010, Heroes of Newerth was also released.
The game cost 30 dollars
It copied characters from the original Dota but also had its own ideas
The game was more complex, darker, and more demanding than LoL
Despite these unique features, few people today know this game, and it has not been officially playable since 2022:
LoL was a free-to-play game right from its launch. Nowadays, people often think negatively about F2P service games. But back then, when the genre was still new, a barrier of entry of 30 dollars for a game in a genre one didn’t know yet was high. That was exactly the price Heroes of Newerth charged at the time.
Moreover, service games are a huge time sink. If you like LoL, you probably won’t switch to Heroes of Newerth, especially since it costs money, and you certainly wouldn’t play two representatives of such a complex genre. A year later, however, HoN switched to the F2P model.
LoL establishes itself as an e-sport title in Asia
The other significant advantage was held by Riot Games, the studio behind LoL, with its distribution. While it took a long time for Heroes of Newerth to open servers outside the USA and Europe, LoL quickly appeared in China and other Asian countries.
South Korea and China were important countries for LoL back then and still are today: League of Legends is incredibly popular there, and service games work well in these countries anyway. LoL struck a chord early on because it apparently appealed to the competitive side of the players there.
A significant difference between Heroes of Newerth and LoL is also the visual presentation.
Heroes of Newerth was inspired by the art style and design of its heroes from the original Dota. It was darker and more western in its designs. For western players, that might be more interesting, but the colorful League of Legends is appealing to more people, and the anime designs of many LoL champions work better in Asia.
Three years after the release of Heroes of Newerth, Valve finally released Dota 2. The release of the game on Steam was a huge success, and many players from Heroes of Newerth switched to Dota 2 to try it out, many of whom stayed there.
Dota 2 is also visually and gameplay-wise closely related to the Warcraft 3 mod. However, Dota 2 was produced better, with significantly more budget and developer power behind it. This made Dota 2 appear more modern than HoN.
Without the big budget and the number of employees, Heroes of Newerth could hardly compete with Dota 2 and LoL. Although the studio S2 Games announced a new MOBA in 2013, people were laid off, and support dwindled until the official servers were finally shut down in 2022.

Dota 2 – The New Frontiers Update
Many young players will never hear of Heroes of Newerth, and to this day, few games have managed to establish themselves in the MOBA genre. Accordingly, Heroes of Newerth joined a lineup of many dead MOBAs that failed to establish themselves.
However, many mechanics from the game made their way into other MOBA giants that are still successful today.
Dota 2 was the first game to introduce the Battle Pass, which is now included in almost every service game, but Valve is now discontinuing it:
The sandbox MMORPG Pax Dei is considered promising. With its freedoms, the ability to build cities in an open world, and the action combat system, it is eagerly awaited by many MMORPG players. A new video of the character editor has now been released.
How good is the editor? When creating your character, you first have a large selection of presets that you can refine afterwards. There are about 30 hairstyles, 16 beards, and 10 different eye colors to choose from.
Additionally, you can make many adjustments with sliders, from body shape to lip color intensity to iris size. Also, with the colors, you have only a rough scheme – such as blonde, brown, black, gray, and white for hair. Within this scheme, you can choose the perfect color.
Overall, the selection is quite large, especially considering that the MMORPG is still in pre-alpha. Only the restrictions on names – 2 to 13 characters and no spaces – received some criticism on YouTube.
You can watch the video here. At the end of the video, you can also catch a brief glimpse of the map of Pax Dei:

Pax Dei excites with housing, gets criticism for PvP
What kind of game is this? In Pax Dei, adventure is the focus. You do not just blindly follow quests but can basically do whatever you want.
There are no fixed classes; instead, the game uses different weapons, similar to New World.
You start by collecting resources and crafting items. Crafting is said to play an important role because monsters do not drop equipment. Everything is crafted by players. Additionally, your equipment degrades over time, so you will have to craft it again.
The focus is on cooperation with other players, as even battles against PvE creatures are tough. The further you distance yourself from the “Heartlands” – something like the safe zone – the more difficult the content is supposed to become.
The game uses a zoom function that allows you to focus on decorations, equipment, and elements in the open world. This makes even small engravings on worn equipment visible, which is said to play a role in the lore. In a preview that we participated in from MeinMMO, we were shown a mushroom that simply grows on the ground and can be collected.
It is developed in Unreal Engine 5, leading to really nice graphics.
A highlight is the housing system, where you can build freely in the open world. Away from paths or special Points of Interest, you can simply claim a piece of land for yourself.
Is there also criticism? Yes. Recently, the PvP system was presented, which not everyone likes. While there are supposed to be no player fights in many areas in Pax Dei, there are in specific contested provinces. Unique materials are also said to be present there.
If you die in PvP, players can loot a part of your inventory and equipment. Additionally, death causes your equipment to be more severely damaged, making it degrade faster. This means it is seen more as a resource like a potion rather than something you farm once and then wear forever.
A gamer found a supposedly defective gaming laptop for only 60 US dollars. However, the device works perfectly, as he realized.
Most gamers likely won’t purposely buy defective hardware, as in most cases it means a lot of work. And often, the effort isn’t worth it. One gamer has been very lucky. According to 3djuegos.com, a gamer would have bought a gaming laptop for 60 US dollars (around 56 euros).

Check out the official trailer for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
Notebook functions without the display unit on a monitor
The seller indicated that the model was defective and that he could only sell the lower part. A display unit was therefore not included.
However, the gamer quickly realized, he explained on Reddit, that the sold model was an Asus Zephyrus G16. This version sells for at least 1,700 euros and more, and it is part of Asus’s high-end series (via rog.asus.com). Under the brand “ROG”, Asus sells high-end models, while its TUF series markets more budget-friendly models.
He took the risk and bought the device for so little money. Because in the worst-case scenario, he could at least remove and reuse the SSD and RAM. That would then have been covered by the 67 euros.
At home, he was then able to connect the device to his monitor with a new power cable and a display cable, and the laptop started up smoothly and perfectly – aside from the missing display unit.
What’s next? The user himself explained that he would likely sell the device and buy a new display unit for it. You can find the device used for at least 1,200 euros or more. Therefore, the owner is likely to make a big profit if he manages to repair and sell it.
Used hardware can be worthwhile: If you want to upgrade your system, it can definitely pay off to look for used hardware. Because you usually get this cheaper than if you buy the items new. The biggest disadvantage is often the lack of warranty from the manufacturer.
However, some sellers also offer used hardware with a receipt, so you also have warranty in case you need it.
More about used hardware: A tech YouTuber wanted to conduct a special experiment. He wanted to build a gaming PC solely from used hardware. However, his action went terribly wrong. You can read the entire action with video directly on MeinMMO:
