The streamer NoWay is one of the biggest German names in League of Legends on Twitch. But now he must take a break, for an indefinite period.
Why is NoWay taking a break? The Twitch streamer Frederik “NoWay” Hinteregger announced via a video message on his Instagram channel that he is announcing:
“After 11 years, it is time for an indefinite break. Unfortunately, my body no longer allows me to continue streaming.”
The reason for this is his voice, which causes unpleasant pain and is not improving.
“This short pausing then directly streaming again … For some reason, it kept catching me over and over and getting worse.”
NoWay takes an important break for his own health
What does he want to convey to his community? In the video, it becomes clear that delivering this message is not easy for him. However, he explains that he wants to address the problem with his voice, rest it, and consult good doctors.
Under his video, he adds in writing:
I had hoped that it would somehow work, like the last 4 years of struggles with my voice, but unfortunately this time it is much worse – we will come back stronger <3
