Crimson Desert: All Mounts and How to Get Them

In Crimson Desert there are a lot of mounts you can ride on. Which ones they are and where to find them is explained here.

What mounts are there in Crimson Desert? In Crimson Desert, you can use various animals, vehicles, and mechs as transportation – including different horses, but also a wolf, polar bears, or mech suits.

Some you can tame, others you must unlock through quests or other means. Some can be secured permanently for your stable and called at any time, while others can only be ridden temporarily, requiring cooldowns before you can mount them again.

They offer you various advantages and abilities. The permanent mounts can also be leveled up.

Royler	– Tame at the location	You can find the pure white Royler in Pailune near the Silverwolf Mountains. It wanders near a camp south of the “P” in the name Pailune on the map.
Rokade	– Tame at the location	You can find the pitch-black Rokade in the Steel Mountains in Hernand. It wanders south of a lake. In the guide, we explain how to catch it easiest.
Camora	– Tame at the location	You can find the red Camora in the southern region of the Crimson Desert. It wanders west of the tree found on the map near the Red River.

Permanent legendary mounts from Update 1.01.00

Mount	How to obtain it	Notes
White Bear	– Defeat the white bear in Pailune and bring its claw to a witch to receive an amulet	You need to defeat the animal and then skin it to get the claw.
Silver Tooth	– You can find the wolf north of Hernand, south of the Howling Cave at “The Sage’s Peak” – For it to spawn, you must have completed the three-part quest series “Legendary Wolf” for House Celeste. – The starting quest is called “Silence from Afar”	– In the battle against the wolf, you must pay attention to the purple flowers, as they drain your life in seconds. – After defeating it, you must return to a witch to bring her the fang to unlock it.
White Stag	– Defeat the white stag in the wilderness of Pailune at the river that flows directly above the A on the map.	– The animal is very skittish, so you must stealthily approach it. – Take the antlers and bring them to the witch to unlock it.
Stone Carver Warthog	– Located in the south of Crimson Desert, which you can reach via the northeastern corner of Demeniss. – You must reach a swamp full of ruins and enemies and defeat them all for the warthog to spawn.	– Collect its tusk and bring it to the witch to unlock it.
Icy Mountain Ibex	– Unlock the Longleaf tribe, from which you will receive the quest “Frost Drowned in Mud”. – This quest sends you to a camp in the center of Pailune to collect a special bounty quest. – Now you must search for and defeat Moren.	– Bring the quest reward to the witch to unlock the ibex.

Mount	How to obtain it	Notes
Blackstar Dragon	– Complete Chapter 11 – Reach level 5 or higher in your endurance – Exact details on what you need to do can be found in the guide	When you call the dragon as a mount, you can ride it for 15 minutes of real time. After that, you must wait 50 minutes before you can ride it again. However, there are ways to reduce the cooldown time. You can find these here in the guide.

Vehicles and Mechs

All-Terrain Armored Gear (ATAG)	– Unlocked in Chapter 10	You receive the mech during a quest in Chapter 10.
Kuku Rocket Backpack (Jetpack)	– Complete the Sanctum of Regrets in the east of the map and secure the blueprint for the Kuku Backpack – Complete Chapter 8 and restore Pailune – Go to Grimnir’s assistant in the south of the city, he will give you a letter with blueprint II for the Kuku Rocket Backpack – Then craft the base for the jetpack in the Kuku Workshop – Then talk to Grimnir in the Kuku Workshop and bring him the required materials for part 2 Exact info can be found in the guide.
