Crimson Desert: All Mounts and How to Get Them

In Crimson Desert there are a lot of mounts you can ride. What they are and where to find them is explained here.

What kinds of mounts are there in Crimson Desert? In Crimson Desert, you can use various animals, vehicles, and mechs as means of transportation.

Some you can tame, while others you need to earn through quests or unlock in other ways. Some you can secure for your stable permanently and call on them whenever you need, while others you can only ride temporarily and have to wait for cooldowns to finish or mount again.

They offer you various advantages and abilities. The permanent mounts can also be leveled up.

Legendary horses

Royler	– Tame at the location	You can find the snow-white Royler in Pailune near the Silverwolf Mountains. It roams near a camp south of the “P” in the name Pailune on the map.
Rokade	– Tame at the location	You can find the jet-black Rokade in the Steel Mountains in Hernand. It roams south of a lake. In the guide, we explain how to catch it most easily.
Camora	– Tame at the location	You can find the red Camora in the southern region of Crimson Desert. It roams west of the tree found on the map near the Red River.

Permanent mounts from Update 1.01.00

White bear	– Defeat the white bear in Pailune and bring its claw to a witch to receive an amulet	You must defeat the animal and then skin it to obtain the claw.
Silver tooth	– You can find the wolf north of Hernand, south of the Howling Cave at “The Sage’s Peak” – For it to spawn, you must complete the three-part questline “Legendary Wolf” for House Celeste. – The starting quest is called “Silence from Afar”	– In the fight against the wolf, pay attention to the purple flowers, as they drain your life in seconds. – Once you have defeated it, you must return to a witch to bring her the fang to unlock it.
White stag	– Defeat the white stag in the wilds of Pailune at the river that flows right above the A on the map.	– The animal is very shy, so you need to sneak up on it. – Take the antlers and bring them to the witch to unlock it.
Stonemason boar	– Located in the southern part of Crimson Desert, which you can reach via the northeastern corner of Demeniss. – You must reach a swamp full of ruins and enemies and defeat all to spawn the boar.	– Collect its tusks and bring them to the witch to unlock it.
Frostbite mountain goat	– Unlock the Longleaf tribe, from which you will receive the quest “Frost Drowned in Mud.” – This quest sends you to a camp in the center of Pailune to pick up a special bounty quest. – Now you must find and defeat Moren.	– Bring the quest reward to the witch to unlock the goat.

Cameleons	– Stolen from NPCs in the Crimson Desert	Cameleons without saddles or those from bandits cannot be ridden.
Giant iguana	– In the city or with NPCs in the Crimson Desert	You cannot call iguanas or register them in your stable.
Kuku chicks	– Stolen from soldiers in the Steel Mountains of Hernand	You cannot call Kuku chicks or register them in your stable.

Dragons

Blackstar Dragon	– Complete chapter 11 – Reach level 5 or higher in your stamina – Exact details on what you need to do can be found in the guide	If you summon the dragon as a mount, you can ride it for 15 minutes in real time. After that, you must wait 50 minutes before you can ride it again. However, there are ways to reduce the cooldown. You can find these in this guide.

Pywel cart	– Stolen – Crafted in the camp through missions	You can craft carts yourself once you have brought Brice into your camp. He gives you the option to start missions for building carts and manage them.
