Good morning and welcome to our live ticker for ARC Raiders. You still have a few hours until Embark rolls out the new update, so enjoy a round or two on the Rust Belt. In the meantime, we will keep an eye out for news and share it with you here.
When does Riven Tides start? The new update will be released on April 28 around 11:00 AM German time. Downtime is not expected, but you can only play the new content once you have downloaded the update. The patch notes will be published at the same time as the update’s release. We will list them for you in a separate overview as soon as they are known.
Is there information about the new map? Yes, the new post from Embark (source: arcraiders.com) explains the background story of the upcoming map “Riven Tides.” On the west coast of the Rust Belt, an abandoned coastal section stretches. This place has been abandoned twice: once during the Exodus and again by survivors of the First Wave, who failed to defend the exposed settlement against ARC. In addition to abandoned buildings, there is also a shipyard waiting to be searched. You can find an overview of the map in the new trailer:
What are the biggest changes? With Riven Tides, ARC Raiders completes its latest roadmap and brings a lot of new content to the extraction shooter. Here are the changes you can expect:
- The new map on the coast “Riven Tides”
- New enemy type “The Turbine”
- Treasure hunting as a new feature
- You can search the coastal region for treasures using a metal detector
- Expeditions will be revamped to be more accessible
- Two new items will come into play to help you explore obstructive terrain. These include a crash mat to prevent fall damage and a powered rappel device.
- Events and projects:
- Project “Avian Alarm”: A five-level Raider project where you build an early warning system of bird cages to detect tremors from ARC units.
- Event “Last Resort”: From April 28 to May 25, you can convert XP into “Merits” and collect ship models to unlock exclusive outfits and Raider tokens.
