Aion 2: Servers are live – Everything about status, time, patch notes and more for the release in the live ticker

On Steam, we are gradually approaching 400,000 concurrent players, and NCSoft has already reported 400,000 players (via Steam). As a thank you, you will find small gifts in your mailbox in the game.

The servers are still stable, and we will conclude our ticker for now. Thank you for being with us and have fun in Atreia! We will see you on the battlefield.

We have almost exceeded 300,000 concurrent players on Steam. With the in-house Purple Launcher, there are likely many more Daevas causing mischief in Atreia.

Currently, all servers are stable, but some have temporary restrictions for new characters. If you want to play on such a server: Be patient, this changes periodically. It is worth sticking around.

The player count is rapidly increasing and is expected to rise significantly towards the evening rush hour. Therefore, we are keeping an eye on how the servers behave and staying on top of it for you.

Currently, about 215,117 players are simultaneously active on Steam in Atreia.

The problem seems to have been resolved. If Aion 2 is still not showing as playable for you, try restarting Steam or your PC. This has helped some players.

It seems there are issues for Free-to-Play players where Aion 2 is not displayed as playable. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The servers appear to be stable, and we have also tried some of the new ones. All servers are green, and in most, characters can also be created. You can recognize the new launch servers by their marking if that is important to you.

It took a little longer for the maintenance screen to appear, and we had hope. So far, there has been no announcement from the developers indicating that it could take longer. Let’s continue to expect 3:00 PM as the start time.

The gates to Atreia are scheduled to reopen at 3:00 PM.

So, dear Daevas! In just about 1 and a half hours, the time will come, and Aion 2 is set to open its gates for Free-to-Play players without a founder’s package.

If you are starting for the first time today, you can also download the game in advance.

Given the game size of around 100 GB and some rather moderately fast internet lines here in Germany, you can use the time until the server opens to download the game.
