Which EU servers are available since Early Access? Since the Early Access launch on September 30, 2026, NCSoft has added various new European servers. Here is the current list:

Why the server pairs? In Aion 2, the Elyos and Asmodian play on separate servers. However, you get the chance to confront the opposing faction through rifts in space-time or battles in the Abyss. There, you will meet players from the enemy faction who come from the linked server. For example, if you play on Siel, you will encounter opponents from Israphel, and so on.
According to NCSoft, these pairs are not set in stone forever. If it helps balance, the developers plan to make adjustments to the server pairs in the future.
On which servers are the big streamers? It seems that many streamers have focused on the server pairing Siel/Israphel. Many creators participating in the streamer event play there.
Matchmaking and Marketplace
Are server transfers possible? The developers have commented on this on Steam:

If you are currently in the queue of an existing server or just joining, it’s best to create your character on a recommended server.
Server transfers will be available by October 13 at the latest, then you can switch between the servers.
As a reminder: All instance content, including dungeons, is available cross-server!
Note: As soon as we unlock the server transfer, we will implement restrictions so that early access players can only switch between early access servers and not to the official launch servers.
Additionally, server transfers will initially be free in this phase!
How does matchmaking work? In PvE, Aion relies on a region-based, but faction-crossing system.
- The so-called “Dungeon Party Matching” brings together players from all active servers of a region (for us, that’s: Europe). During early access, this means only the early access servers. From the global launch, players with founder packs will also meet free-to-play players in the dungeons. Additionally, you can fight alongside the normally opposing faction in PvE.
- If you and your friends play on different servers, you can still add each other to your friends list and register as a group for a dungeon together.
How does the market work? Aion 2 is supposed to have two different markets where you can trade with other players:
- Server market: Here you trade with players from your server. This market is already available during early access and trading is done with the currency Kinah. You can also obtain Kinah through the premium currency Quna.
- Cross-server market: Here, players from all servers of a region (for us, that means: Europe) come together to buy or sell. This market will not be available during early access or directly at launch, but is planned to open at a later time. This way, the developers want to ensure that early access players do not negatively impact the economy of the launch servers.
Note that trading through the market will only be possible if you invest money in Aion 2’s optional monthly subscription.
