Improvements and bug fixes
Improvements
- Buyers of the founder’s package can now use skins, titles, and other items for other characters and on other servers.
- Buyers of the founder’s package can acquire items they do not yet own for free according to their founder’s package level in the special shop.
- The free special shop for the founder’s package is available to all characters on all servers until a closure announcement is made.
- Items that you already own from your founder’s package will not be purchased again; if you have duplicate items in your inventory, we plan to add a feature that will allow you to dispose of them at a later date.
- Skins that you receive duplicates of through the special founder’s package shop do not affect the purchase limit for paid skins. A fix to prevent duplicate entries is planned for a future update.
- If you cannot complete the purchase process when buying the founder’s package, please close the client and try again.
- For the conversion of “Wings (Sealed)” into “Enhancement Stones”, a weekly limit of 20 conversions per server will be introduced in the conversion formula.
- The drop rate for “Raw Leather” that can be obtained from monsters in the “Chaotic Lower Level of Reshanta” will be increased.
- The drop rate for “Raw Leather” that can be obtained from monsters in “Verteron” and “Altgard” will be increased.
- New Kinah items will be added at the Windbrise merchants.

- The issue where the maximum number of map markers that can be placed on the map was displayed incorrectly will be fixed.
- You can place up to 30 map markers.
- [Asmodian] Challenge Season Missions > The issue where the mission “Daeva of Radiant Success” cannot be properly completed in the weekly missions will be fixed.
- The issue where the “Movement Control” option appears multiple times under “Settings” > “Key Settings” > “General” will be fixed.
- A problem where certain emote commands do not work properly in chat will be fixed.

For the next 3.5 hours, you unfortunately cannot continue playing Aion 2. We will keep an eye out for you to see if you can get back in earlier and if the patch notes will be available soon.

Good morning, dear Daevas! Today there is an update for Aion 2 and associated server maintenance.
It starts at 8:30 AM CEST and is scheduled to run until 12:30 PM CEST.
During this time, you unfortunately cannot play. We are live for you in the ticker and will let you know when you can get back in the game.
When will the servers go offline? Maintenance starts at 8:30 AM CEST on October 7, 2026.
What happens then? You will not be able to play from this point on and will be kicked out of the game. During maintenance, you also cannot reconnect.
How long is the maintenance expected to last? For Europe, a maintenance duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes is scheduled, as NCSoft reveals via Steam. The servers should therefore be reachable again from 12:00 PM. However, the developers point out that changes may occur.

Many players are now slowly reaching the endgame, especially those who started in Early Access. Part of that is also the notorious Abyss, which has really captivated MMORPG experts like Karsten, but also frustrated him: Content from Aion 2 is so wonderfully Massively, I both hate and love it equally
