Larys Strong, known as Clubfoot, may not seem particularly dangerous at first glance. But it is better not to underestimate him. He is one of the most manipulative and ruthless characters from House of the Dragon. Without hesitation, he had his own father and brother killed. He used mute, tongueless criminals to make it all look like a tragic accident – the perfect crime. Thus he remained the sole heir of Harrenhal and became an indispensable ally for Alicent.
Larys was the perfect listener, silently observing the machinations at court and gathering information while others mostly ignored him. This allowed him to expand his power further and further without putting himself in danger.
Essentially, Larys is the Petyr Baelish of his time, even if his plans are not quite as intricate and long-term.
