At just a few months old, a player was introduced to World of Warcraft. His father truly did an impressive job.
When asked, “When did you first play WoW?” most can probably give a clear answer. After all, it was likely a conscious decision – a friend’s recommendation, an article in a magazine, or simply the desire to see what makes the world’s most famous MMORPG so special. But there is also a generation of WoW fans who were introduced to the game by their parents – and that as babies.
In the WoW subreddit, a player reminisces and proves with an old picture how his father showed him the world of Azeroth at a very early age.
What can be seen in the picture? The player Certain_Plant7300 shares a picture taken 20 years ago. You can see his father playing World of Warcraft – on a classic “compact” desk, which was modern back then. On the working surface of the desk lies the player himself, apparently more interested in his father than the game:
I believe it must have been around the year 2005 when I was lying on the desk, almost 1 year old, and my father was about 21/22. He still plays to this day. I started playing when I was 8 years old when Mists of Pandaria was just released. I’m now 21 and still love the game.
How the community reacts: The community celebrates the picture and rewards the post with nearly 20,000 upvotes – even for the WoW subreddit, this is an extremely large amount. In the comments, people also have fun and cherish the memory:
