World of Warcraft is working on new features. Three of them can already be inferred from data mining – and there is something for everyone.
World of Warcraft is getting bigger and faster. Patches are coming at shorter intervals and the amount of new content is increasing. However, there are many old issues that developers could tackle to eliminate existing problems. This will apparently happen in the coming months, as data mining has already revealed features that might soon make it into the game.
Why are the features “secret”? Blizzard has not yet announced the features discussed here, and they currently only arise from data mining. These are clues and indications that clearly suggest that such functions are being worked on. The YouTuber and analyst Bellular has compiled them in one of his latest videos on YouTube.
Helmets with Hair – After 21 Years of Waiting
If you are interested in transmog in World of Warcraft or even pretty clothing before that, you have faced a problem for years. Many helmets and hats cause your character’s hairstyle to disappear. Whether you have long flowing hair as an elf or a stylish spiky hairstyle as a human – as soon as you put on a hat, it disappears and everyone has a uniform short hairstyle.
A significant annoyance that leads many to simply forego helmets and hats – and a problem that has been irritating people for 21 years.
The reason for this is obvious: many hats or helmets would make the hair clip unsightly through the headgear and basically distort the entire head beyond recognition.
However, that seems to be changing. Initial items have been extracted from the game data that function as hats but retain the existing hairstyle.
Whether this will become a general feature or if Blizzard is only experimenting with individual items, we cannot say at this point.
