Some Pals in Palworld come with powerful passive skills. There are a few specimens that can significantly boost your base Pals and improve their productivity.
What skills are these? Some Pals have passive abilities that grant them auras, enhancing all other Pals present. They only need to be actively stationed in your camp, and they will provide a +1 bonus to the skill level of your other workers.
For example: If you have Mycora in your base, the medicine production increases by +1. If a Dandilord is also present, it goes from a 6 in medicine production to a 7. This can make a significant difference, as depending on what you need and which Pals you have present, it greatly boosts your production.
You can read on page 2 of the guide which Pals these are, what they boost, and where to find them.
What advantage does this bring? Aside from the directly visible boost of +1 to each skill for all other Pals, you save valuable books that you would otherwise have to give to each individual Pal in your camp to achieve the same skill values. Additionally, this gives you significantly more flexibility when you want to push other skills because you urgently need specific resources.
Are there any limitations? Yes, you can only boost each skill up to a maximum of level 10 through the auras. Values above that are lost. Auras also cannot be combined; you can only boost one skill at a time. Furthermore, the auras do not improve when you raise the respective Pal’s star rank. You always only get +1 from the passive skill.
