What does Trymacs consider the problem of gamescom? In one of his Twitch streams (highlight on YouTube), Trymacs asked whether it is still worth going to gamescom at all. Gamescom has changed, and Trymacs sees the main problem not with the influencers attending the fair, but with the games themselves.
Because big publishers nowadays hold their own fairs, such as Blizzard’s BlizzCon, instead of presenting their upcoming games at gamescom. This departure from gamescom seems to bother Trymacs.
What does the fair mean to him? Trymacs was a huge fan of gamescom. In the past, he says, he would have slept in the car with his then-girlfriend – now wife – Celina just to be able to go to the gaming fair cheaply.

This can bring dangers, as evidenced by the situation surrounding Twitch streamer MontanaBlack in 2022. Due to his appearance at gamescom, but especially through his IRL stream that revealed his current location in the exhibition halls, he attracted a large crowd of fans.
This led to a mass gathering and corresponding chaos and injuries. Gamescom took these incidents seriously at the time and offered MontanaBlack in the following years to come on a press day and stream that way. Otherwise, a visit from MontanaBlack is no longer possible.
