2. Sion – The Undead Moloch
Sion was a brutal warlord of Noxus and gained fame by slaughtering all who stood in his way. During the siege of the city of Hvardis, a commander wanted to shelter behind the walls and simply fend off the attackers. Sion angrily threw the commander from the city walls and ordered the attack.
Sion mowed through the enemy lines and eventually reached King Jarvan the First. Already on his way, he suffered fatal injuries and could only strangle the king with his last strength before succumbing to his wounds.
He was buried in a towering monument to honor him for eternity. The Circle of the Black Rose resurrected him half a century later, and Sion returned with an unnatural thirst for blood and an insensitivity to pain.
After numerous victorious battles, Sion was to be reburied at the command of the then Grand General Darkwill. Hundreds of warriors died attempting to capture him, and Sion was eventually entombed under a massive statue.
The new Grand General Swain opened the grave again and brought Sion chained in an iron cage back to Hvardis. Sion was the Grand General’s punishment for their rebellion. He leveled the city and laughed as he tore down their towers with bare hands.
