How do I get the shovel? If you want to progress quickly in Sons of the Forest, there’s no way around the shovel. Overall, you need to explore 3 dangerous caves for the item – in the right order.
Here are the caves on the map:
- 1st Cave: Climbing Axe
- 2nd Cave: Scuba Gear
- 3rd Cave: Shovel
To get the shovel, you need the climbing axe and the scuba gear. Otherwise, you cannot complete the shovel cave to get the new tool. Before the other caves, you should be well equipped with armor and weapons:
