Solo Leveling currently holds 2 records on Crunchyroll. On one hand, the anime has the best episode, and on the other hand, it also has the worst.
What are these 2 records? When comparing all anime episodes on Crunchyroll, Solo Leveling has the episode that collected the most likes. At the same time, Solo Leveling also has the episode with the most dislikes ever received by a series on the platform.
- The best-rated episode is episode 24 from season 2. It is the penultimate episode and is titled “Are You the King of Humans?” It has over 549,000 likes.
- In contrast, episode 7.5 from season 1 stands on the other side. This episode accumulated a total of 85,800 dislikes. It runs under the title “How to Get Stronger”.

It is astonishing that both records belong to an anime. However, we remember that both episodes caused a huge uproar upon their release, both positively and negatively.
Best and Worst Episode in an Anime
Why do these two episodes hold these records? Solo Leveling started out with season 1 as an extremely popular hype anime, which makes it easier to gather likes or dislikes since the audience is generally larger. Therefore, it is not surprising that the series is the most rated ever on Crunchyroll.
Episode 24 is especially celebrated because the final battle takes place between protagonist Sung Jin-woo and the King of Ants. For this episode, an extraordinary 17,000 images were used.
Normally, the number of images in an episode of the anime ranges between 8,000 and 10,000 images. So you can imagine how spectacular the battle in episode 24 looked.
The dislikes for the least popular episode occurred because it was merely a recap episode. It summarized the events of the previous episodes in one episode – at that point, there had only been 7 episodes. So, the recap episode was not necessarily needed.
