The 2nd season ended on March 13, 2025. Not counting the recap episode 7.5, the anime for Solo Leveling currently consists of 25 episodes. Release: When will Solo Leveling Season 3 come out?
The latest statement comes from an interview between Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini and the magazine Radio Times. In it, the CEO confirms that A1 Pictures is actively working on the continuation. Although there is no formal announcement yet, he emphasizes that they hope to be able to announce something soon

On July 4, 2026, there will be a panel about Solo Leveling Karma at Anime Expo 2026. Many suspect that new information about Season 3 could follow, as there are supposed to be some surprise guests. However, it has not yet been confirmed that information about the anime will be shown here.
In May 2026, the Mumbai Comic Con took place. Atsushi Kaneko, the producer of the Solo Leveling anime at A-1 Pictures, was invited for a panel. When asked about the future of the anime, his translator said the following (see on X):
He has many plans for the future, but cannot reveal much about it yet… At the moment, he can only say that he is working very hard. He will meet everyone’s expectations and is working hard on it, but please give us a little more time.
In March 2026, Kadokawa and Aniplex founded the company ANIMEC, which will focus entirely on producing and promoting anime films. In this context, rumors emerged that one of these films could be Solo Leveling. However, these are just rumors that still need to be confirmed.
A direct announcement for Season 3 is still pending. As Sota Furuhashi, producer at Aniplex, revealed, it could still take a long time before the 3rd season of Solo Leveling is released.
If it were up to him, he would finish Season 3 by the next Olympics – that would be in 2028 (via YouTube). However, he also adds that the decision is mostly in the hands of A-1 Pictures and animation producer Atsushi Kaneko.
If the production of Season 3 had taken as long as that of Season 2, the anime would have been released in January 2026. Between Season 2 and Season 1, there was exactly one year.
However, we estimate that we will have to wait at least until 2027 to see the continuation.
Episodes: How many episodes will Season 3 have?
The number of episodes for Season 3 is not known yet. Season 1 consists of 12 episodes, and Season 2 has 13 episodes. Therefore, we assume that Season 3 will have between 12 and 13 episodes.
Streaming Service: Where can I watch Solo Leveling Season 3?
Both Season 1 and Season 2 of the anime are available on Crunchyroll. The anime was released there weekly as a simulcast to the Japanese broadcast. Therefore, it can be assumed that Season 3 will also be available on Crunchyroll.
Dubbing: In what language will Season 3 be available?
As with Season 1 and Season 2, you will be able to watch Solo Leveling directly during airing with Japanese audio and German subtitles. There is even the option to watch the seasons with German dubbing. Therefore, we assume that this will also be the case for Season 3.
Story: What is Season 3 about?
The 2nd season ends with the recruitment arc. Following that, starting from Chapter 111 of the webtoon, is the Ahjin Guild arc. So you can already read in the manhwa where it continues. Whether Season 3 will include the entire story is not known. It could also be that a cut will be made after a certain arc, such as after the International Guild Conference arc.
