Mega-Panzaeron is coming soon in Pokémon GO. What does its own Super Mega Raid Day look like? We take a look at the details.
What kind of Pokémon is this? Panzaeron has had a Mega Evolution since the game Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Now this will also appear in Pokémon GO. Just like its normal form, it belongs to the Steel and Flying types.
When is the Raid Day? The Raid Day with Mega-Panzaeron takes place on June 27, 2026. It starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM.
What is special about it? Once again, the new Pokémon will not appear in regular raids, but in Super Mega Raids. This means: You will have to break a few shields before you can defeat the Pokémon. You definitely won’t be able to do it alone; it will require numerous trainers bringing Mega Pokémon to the battle. So: Make sure to find a group with which you can challenge the Pokémon.
Because the day has some bonuses to offer that are worth it.
What content does the Raid Day with Mega-Panzaeron bring?
These are the bonuses: The most important bonus is the increased Shiny rate for Panzaeron from the Mega Raids – alongside the debut of the Mega form. You have a very good chance to catch the shiny Pokémon here.
Otherwise, the following bonuses are on the list:
- You will receive up to 6 free raid passes when you spin gyms.
- The remote raid limit will be increased to 20.
- A limited research will be activated, which also brings a raid pass.
In addition, there will be an optional event ticket for $4.99 (similarly priced in Euros), which offers various bonuses. This includes additional raid passes, so you can get up to 14, as well as an increased chance for XL Candy from raids. Additionally, you will receive 5,000 extra XP and extra Stardust from Super Mega Raids. However, you can basically participate in the event without the ticket.
Is Mega-Panzaeron worth it? Mega-Panzaeron is definitely a good Mega Evolution, which has an interesting bonus: The combination of Steel and Flying has not been seen in any other Mega Pokémon yet. This is exciting because active Mega Pokémon increase the candy count when you catch Pokémon of their types. Thus, this is a nice side effect!
