In Pokémon GO a new path selection is active on June 30, 2026. What rewards await you? We summarize it for you so you know what you should choose.
A new week filled with tasks, research, and rewards starts in Pokémon GO. As before, you can choose a path that best suits your playstyle.
How much time do I have? The research you choose ends on Friday, July 3, at 8:00 PM.
How do I start? You will find a first, already completed task in your research tab that gives you 500 Stardust and 5 Poké Balls. Once you click and complete this, the path selection starts.
What you should note: The path selection brings you partly different tasks and especially various bonuses. We summarize what this looks like for you!

Bonus: If you choose the Exploration path, you will receive the bonus of half the hatching distance for eggs.
Reward: Completing the research brings you 3 golden Razz Berries and 5 special candies.

Special Timed Research
Some trainers may also be able to select daily rotating research this week, which also brings 3 golden Razz Berries and 5 special candies, as well as encounters with Electabuzz and Magmar. The bonuses will also rotate then. There are:
- Catching (Extra XP)
- Catching (Extra Candies)
- Battling (Extra XP for Raids)
- Battling (Extra Rocket Components)

The researches are great options for you to catch Electabuzz and Magmar as well as secure some bonuses. This event will continue into next month, as June ends and July begins.
