At first glance, it simply lengthened the legs of the crystal starfish, which some fans found not particularly creative. However, the running star later gained just as many fans, as it looks quite amusing when a darting starfish chases a trainer.
Regardless of the differing opinions, one thing is clear: Mega-Starmie is coming soon to Pokémon GO.
Mega-Starmie debuts in Pokémon GO
The monster will be introduced into the game with its own Super Mega Raid Day, as we have come to expect.
Thus, the task is clear: Gather a team of trainers, pack the right counters, move from gym to gym, and take down the starfish.
However, this will not be easy, as the monster will raise quite a few shields that you’ll need to break first. Mega-Starmie is unlikely to be an absolute top attacker, but the effort should be worthwhile – after all, there’s something new to catch.
When does the Super Mega Raid Day with Starmie take place? Mega-Starmie will appear on August 22 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can also catch it as Shiny.
