When does the Super-Mega-Raid-Day with Mega-Starmie start?
- The event starts on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
- It ends the same day at 5:00 PM.
Can Mega-Starmie be shiny? Yes, the Starmie you catch after the raid can be shiny if you’re lucky. The chance is increased.
However, keep in mind that you’ll only receive a regular Starmie, which you will then need to Mega Evolve. For that, you’ll need Mega Energy from the raids.
What bonuses does the event bring?
- Raids will give you an additional 5,000 XP
- Increased chance of XL Candy from raids
- Up to six free raid passes from gyms
- Caught Starmie from Super-Mega-Raids will be at Mega Level 1
- The remote raid limit will be increased to 20
- The shiny chance for Starmie from Super-Mega-Raids is increased
- A limited research task featuring Scizor and a raid pass is running
Additionally, there will be an event ticket available for $4.99 (approximately similar in euros). This grants additional bonus XP, more raid passes, increased chances of XL Candy from raids, and guaranteed XL Candy for Starmie from raids. Furthermore, there are more exciting events to discover – such as the strong birthday event in Pokémon GO.
