With Curse of the Allflame, the new season of Path of Exile starts today. Completing the new challenges will reward you with several free cosmetics.
When does the new season start? Curse of the Allflame goes live today, on July 24, 2026. The new season offers you a completely fresh start as a league with its own economy, while you can of course continue to play your characters from the previous standard leagues.
In Germany, the league starts at 10 PM. Typically, you can get in line around that time, which traditionally happens at the start of every season. If you are already looking forward to the start, you can keep your late evening free.

5 Free Cosmetics
What gifts are there? At the start of Curse of the Allflame, there are 40 new challenges, in which you can snag a total of 5 free cosmetics as rewards. The challenges are always a bit different, but can usually be completed through small detours or quite casually during gameplay.
When you have completed 12, 24, 32, and 36 challenges, you will receive one of the rewards each time. You will sequentially receive the Oceanic Weapon Effect, the Fangtooth Moray pet, the Captain’s Wheel back accessory, and the Oceanic Portal Effect.
Additionally, there is a fifth reward. Through the challenges, you collect parts of the Allflame Challenger Trophy, a hideout decoration that you can completely assemble. All rewards are purely cosmetic and can also be used in the sequel, Path of Exile 2.
What is in Ruthless mode? Those who are in the tougher Ruthless league will receive the same rewards much faster. There, you unlock the four effects and the pet at 2, 4, 6, and 8 completed challenges instead of 12, 24, 32, and 36 as in the normal league. However, this game mode is significantly harder.
