The developers of Path of Exile 2 have released a video in which they explain their “improvement to the user experience” and mention three points that are really significant.
What annoying issue is disappearing? The developers want to tackle one of the most annoying issues in the game: price checking. While players previously had to reconstruct their items through various filters, the developers now offer a solution, which they present on YouTube.
With Return of the Ancients, the developers are bringing the new key combination [SHIFT] + [ALT] into the game, which searches immediately for the items you are currently hovering over with your mouse. Of course, filters can still be turned on and off to search for similar items.

Finally Organized
What have the developers announced? The inventory of Path of Exile 2 is increasingly filling up with items, especially currencies and crafting materials from various endgame modes.
With Return of the Ancients set to come on May 29, even more crafting items will be added. Therefore, the developers want to finally bring order back to your inventories and are adding a new stash tab.
The “Fragment” stash tab is coming to Path of Exile 2. Here you can store your various boss fragments. Additionally, the stash tab has space for the Precursor Tablets and the fragments from the Trials. Moreover, they have upgraded the existing socket stash tab so that the new runes of the season can also find their place there.
Will it be even easier? Yes! The developers have also added a new search bar to the endgame. This allows for almost any search terms to be input to find a suitable map. The developers provide the following examples:
- Name of a map (e.g. Spider Woods)
- Biome (e.g. Mountains)
- Powerful Bosses (using the keyword “powerful”)
- Mods (e.g. Headhunters or Essence)
The developers also emphasize that the search is supposed to support a lot of terms. So you won’t likely be limited to the examples given.
Path of Exile 2 is getting many new “Quality of Life” improvements with the new update, which are intended to make the ARPG more enjoyable for players. Starting Friday, May 29, it all begins.
