We will host a big theme week on MeinMMO in a few weeks around the funkiest genre in the world and will crown the most exciting MMORPG of the future. But it is not us who decides the top spots, but you – with this survey!
The genre of MMORPGs has been an integral part of MeinMMO’s DNA since its founding in 2013. Therefore, this year we are also hosting a big Grindfest theme week with streams, interviews, specials, and anecdotes. An article is also planned in which we will crown the most exciting online role-playing game of the future.
Just like in the vote for the best MMORPG of all time for PC and console, it is not us who determines the rankings this time either, but you! How and where? Well, participate in the following survey!
For space reasons, we have focused on what we consider to be the 10 most prominent MMORPGs currently in development.
If your favorite is not listed there, feel free to mention it in the comments. It is important that the respective game has not yet been finally released here with us. So you can mention early access titles or games that have been released in Asia, for example, but not yet here. If that is the case, we will include your contributions in our count.

Hot MMO Summer Ahead!
When will I know the results? We are planning the Grindfest 2026 for the week of June 29 to July 5, 2026. Preparations are underway, and details are still in flux, so we do not have a fixed program for you yet. However, you can expect that we will crown the most exciting online role-playing game of the future rather in the second half of the week.
It is also certain that you can expect a variety of perspectives, analyses, and contexts from the MMORPG genre this time. Among them: international industry veterans, successful studios from Germany, and friendly content creators. We are already really looking forward to the upcoming Grindfest!
