Many Pals in Palworld have incredibly powerful partner skills. Yet one seems so little noticed that it is simply overlooked by many players. However, it can literally save lives.
Which Pal is it? On Reddit, a user shares the cute animation of the skill and asks: “Have you ever seen Herbil’s ability?” The thread shows: Many of you apparently have not yet.
Herbil may look like an oversized hamster with a leaf on its head, but you should not underestimate it, because with its partner skill “Herbil Heart Massage”, it can revive you in the event of a KO – even in hardcore mode.
The amount of healing afterward depends on the level of the partner skill, but even at level 1, you regain about 30% of your maximum health after revival. To save you, you must have Herbil on your team – leaving it in the box is not enough.
Although the ability has a cooldown of about 10 minutes, it significantly decreases with the number of stars your Herbil has. Additionally, you can take multiple Herbil with you to increase the number of possible revivals.

What does the community say about Herbil? On Reddit, over 5,000 upvotes and more than 250 comments celebrate the little hamster. Many are annoyed that they did not find him before reading the post, while others have caught him but simply overlooked his partner skill.
For MoonElf19, he is a very special Pal: “I saw Herbil performing the Totoro Plant Dance on the berry farm and immediately decided that he is my best buddy. It was only later that I learned he has first aid training. No one supports me like Herbil, and that’s why he is my best friend – 10 out of 10, no objections.”
Rayllis689 celebrates his potential: “Holy crap! That means he will be a staple in every good hardcore run.”
