Satoru Gojo is known as the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen. His very existence ensures that the attacks from curse spirits are kept in check. The author of the manga, Gege Akutami, recently answered 33 questions about the fan-favorite, revealing more about his past.
What did he reveal about Satoru Gojo? In Jujutsu Kaisen, there is an entire arc that revolves around Gojo’s school days. In this storyline, his sunglasses are a distinctive trademark of him. Later he replaced the sunglasses with an eye patch.
As Akutami clarifies, Gojo has to cover his eyes because he possesses a ability called “Six Eyes.” This ability allows him to use the Limitless technique, which manipulates space on an atomic level.

What kind of game is this?
- You fight in Space Marine 2 as Ultramarine Titus and slice through huge hordes of monstrous space insects – with heavy bolters and chainsaw swords.

Space Marine 2 is “even more authentic to the Warhammer 40,000 universe than the first game.”
Colleague Dimitry Halley from GameStar is also excited as a fan of Warhammer and shooters. For him, the strong points are:
- The story, which takes place 100 years after the first part. You will find out what happened to Titus during his captivity and torture. Chaos apparently plays a central role.
- The gameplay, perhaps the most important point of the game. Different versions of bolters provide different playstyles, swords are used for parrying. A special highlight: The executions, similar to Doom.

The condition is good, the future still uncertain
However, the tests still reveal a few points of criticism. The variety in combat is still somewhat lacking. There are different weapons, but not enough to really offer diversity.
Additionally, ammunition is heavily limited. You have to constantly pay attention to your bolter ammunition while fighting about three dozen Tyranids and a Carnifex for survival. Here, at least PCGamer is still hoping for improvement by the release.
However, a special treat is the coop mode. Here you can complete missions with two others that you assign to another team as Titus in singleplayer. The coop missions contain even more tactical depth.
The individual classes are supposed to stand out significantly from each other and especially from the “Swiss Army knife” Titus. However, the game does not come close to the variety and tactical gameplay of Left 4 Dead at least in the demo. However, the coop mode seems like a good thing in general for shooter fans: Space Marine 2 looks like a good coop shooter – even if you are not a Warhammer fan

Sony explains why Bungie was hit with layoffs
After the excitement surrounding Bungie’s layoffs has calmed down and everything is slowly returning to normal, Sony has now briefly talked about the situation concerning the Destiny developer.
Where does the information come from? In a meeting, Sony revealed its consolidated financial results. In the video on irwebmeeting.com, Hiroki Totoki, the head of Sony, discusses various products and the company’s finances – including Bungie.
The Destiny developers were acquired for 3.2 billion euros by the Japanese company in early 2022. Since then, they have belonged to the company and work for them. Initially, the acquisition sounded great, but after Bungie failed to deliver with The Final Shape and the numbers did not meet Sony’s expectations, many developers were laid off and restructuring took place.
Many developers went anonymously to news sites and revealed insider information about the dilemma. An official clarification on what will happen to Bungie in the future has been lacking, apart from a letter from Bungie CEO Pete Parson – until now. The head of Sony has now revealed why Bungie was treated this way.
“We need to improve the efficiency of the company”
What did Sony say about “Bungie”? During the Sony Group Corporation’s Q1 FY2024 conference, the topic of Bungie came up again.
In this context, Hiroki Totoki clarified why Bungie had to undergo these restructuring: “This restructuring is about costs, structure, and optimizing the portfolio. Those are the goals. At the same time, we need to improve the efficiency of the company.”
It is therefore clear that Bungie has not been efficiently managing its company. Many fans are also wondering where Sony’s money has gone, while the developers’ output for Destiny 2 has been minimal.

Larian says: A rare ending of Baldur’s Gate 3 has been seen by only 34 out of millions of players
The role-playing game hit Baldur’s Gate 3 has a variety of different endings, some of which can be more or less favorable. However, one ending is so rare that only a handful of players have actually seen it.
Where does the information come from? On August 3, 2024, the complete release of Baldur’s Gate 3 celebrated its first anniversary. On August 7, a series of statistics were shared on the official X account of the role-playing game that provided insights into player decisions over the past year.
Attention Spoilers: If you want to experience Lae’zel’s endings for yourself, you probably shouldn’t read any further.
Even during the release weekend, Larian published exciting statistics:

What kind of ending is it? This refers to a possible ending of the origin character Lae’zel. If you take on the role of the Githyanki and reach the end of the game, you can choose to end your character’s life and thus your playthrough after being rejected by the Githyanki queen Vlaakith.
This ending, which Gamesradar reports was only added to the game in January 2024, was achieved by only 34 players according to Larian. And that’s out of the millions of players who have immersed themselves in the role-playing game.
Why is this ending so rare? Several factors play into this. Statistics show that only 7% of players chose an origin character as their avatar – the overwhelming majority opted to create their own character.
While Larian only reveals the top 3 of the selected origin characters – Astrion, Gale, and Shadowheart – it seems that Lae’zel had a rather difficult standing among players from the beginning. Therefore, it can be assumed that only a relatively small number of players even took on the role of the Githyanki.
Then you also have to reach the end of the game.
How do you unlock the ending? The goal of the Githyanki is ascension, a euphemistic term for being consumed by Vlaakith – which Lae’zel herself does not know. To gain the queen’s favor, you must first follow her plan to kill Orpheus.
However, in order for Lae’zel to be denied the ascension, you should make a last-minute withdrawal and spare Orpheus after all. Then you only need to reach Vlaakith, get a rejection from her, and then end your playthrough, which at that point can easily exceed 100 hours, in a dramatic fashion with a suicide.

Pokémon GO: Remember now 7 dates for the new season
The new season in Pokémon GO is approaching. The first important dates are already known.
When does the new season in Pokémon GO start? The next season in Pokémon GO is expected to start on September 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time. This is when the current season, “Heavenly Teamwork,” ends.
Until then, there are still a few events in August planned, but the first dates for the time from September are now known as well.

7 dates for September, October, November in Pokémon GO known
Which dates are known? These include new Community Day dates, as well as dates for Raid days. Exact details are not yet known, but you should mark these dates down.
Community Days: The Community Days of the new season will take place on:
- September 14, 2024
- October 5, 2024
- November 10, 2024
Notably: In the new season, there apparently won’t be a “Community Day Classic” bringing back an old favorite monster. At least, this is still missing from the list.
However, a bonus Community Day Classic featuring Tanhel was just announced for August 18, after there was actually already one with Feurigel on June 22 in this season. It is possible that the Tanhel Day will replace the C-Day Classic of the upcoming season.
Further dates: Four more dates have been announced. They are:
- A Raid day on September 8
- A research day on September 22
- Another Raid day on October 12
- A Catching Technique event on October 19
Here, one can only speculate about what awaits us. It’s notable that the first Raid day comes right at the start of the season, on September 8.
After content related to the Dynamax phenomenon was recently discovered, many now hope that this feature will be introduced in the new season. It is conceivable that it will be presented immediately at the start of the season during a Raid day. But: This is currently just speculation.
A little clearer is the “Catching Technique” event, as it has occurred before. For example, during the winter 2023 edition, players were able to catch various ice Pokémon with an increased shiny chance. Similar variations have also occurred in the past for fighting or ghost Pokémon.

Developer Takes a Strong Stance
What did the developer stipulate? The developer, who remains anonymous and appears online only under the name “LocalThunk,” announced on August 6, 2024, via X that he included Balatro in his last will.
The programmer stipulated in his will that the IP may never be sold or licensed to a gambling company or casino, even after his death. This is to prevent Balatro from ever becoming a “real gambling game”.
LocalThunk responded to a post that jokingly proposed the “conspiracy theory” that Balatro is secretly a military project (“PsyOp”) to lure younger generations into casinos.
In a comment, the developer mentioned that he had already received offers in recent months to license the Balatro IP, presumably to release gambling games like slot machines or video poker designed in the style of the game (via X).

A MMORPG about Dragon Ball explained 14 years ago how Son-Goku and Vegeta ultimately die
With the help of the Dragon Balls, death in the eponymous anime is no longer a big deal. Once Son-Goku, Vegeta, and the other Z-Warriors die in battle, they are resurrected by Shenlong or another powerful dragon. However, there is an MMO that deals with the final death of the two.
What kind of game is this? The spiritual predecessor to Dragon Ball Xenoverse was Dragon Ball Online. The game launched as a free-to-play MMORPG in 2010. But three years later, the servers were shut down and the developer was dissolved. In the meantime, there is a fan project with private servers that has revived the title as Dragon Ball Online Global.
- Dragon Ball Online took place in the year 1000, approximately 216 years after the victory over Majin Boo.
- The player takes on the role of a character who is sucked into the current timeline through a time rift. In the MMORPG, several characters from the Dragon Ball anime and manga appear.
- Mira and Towa, two characters designed specifically for the game, want to conquer the Earth. They receive help from Frieza and the Red Ribbon Army.
- Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, was responsible for the character designs.
As in other MMORPGs, we ran through the game world with our character. The tasks included searching for the Dragon Balls, training, and interacting with NPCs and other players.
Players followed a story that does not belong to the official canon of Dragon Ball. However, players could learn what actually happened to Son-Goku and Vegeta when they finally died and could no longer be resurrected.
The anime almost found an end as well:

How did they die? In the year 801, Son-Goku and Vegeta left the Earth. Goku realized that he had little time left to live. Therefore, he challenged Vegeta to a final duel in which the Saiyans could give it their all.
Their battle was so intense that they killed each other in an explosion. Their death, which was likely caused by numerous energy attacks, could still be seen on Earth as a supernova several years later.
Does that fit the anime? The MMORPG dealt with an alternative timeline that has nothing to do with the official manga and anime. In the manga, Son-Goku is far from dead. Although Dragon Ball GT is also not part of the official story, Son-Goku was still alive in the year 889.
However, many fans in the Reddit forum believe that the death would perfectly fit Son-Goku and Vegeta. User Windstorm72 particularly loves all the lore that was told in Dragon Ball Online. User oddyholi thinks that the story should end exactly that way.
There are also some dissenting voices: Commentator sdwoodchuck, for example, is not a big fan of the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. He would have preferred a different death.

Player has been carrying the letter of his deceased father in WoW for 15 years, touching the community to tears
Simple, inconspicuous things can hold great value for people. This is illustrated by the story of Reddit user Striking-Food-9492, who has kept a letter from his father in his inventory in World of Warcraft for 15 years.
What is behind the letter? On Reddit, Striking-Food-9492 recounts that his father passed away from a motor neuron disease (MND, via wikipedia.org) 15 years ago. At the time, the son was eleven years old.
In this context, World of Warcraft holds a special place for Striking-Food-9492 because he played the MMORPG “the whole time” with his father. Additionally, just before the illness became so severe that his father could no longer play, he wrote a short letter to him in WoW.
On the “blank piece of paper,” only a few words are written: “I love you, son – Dad xxx.”
Striking-Food-9492 continues that this letter has been in his inventory for 15 years. Whenever he logs in and opens his character’s bags, his gaze first falls on the inconspicuous item.
“It’s not me who cries, but you”
It’s difficult to verify this story from a distance. Ultimately, however, that only plays a minor role. What is essential is that Striking-Food-9492 has touched part of the Reddit community with his lines and the WoW screenshot. Over 9,100 upvotes and almost 300 comments confirm that.
How does the community react? Some Reddit users thank the WoW player for sharing the memory.

Blizzard confirms: A bug in Diablo 4 Season 5 gave you millions of EXP – Explains the reason
Since August 6, 2024, Season 5 of Diablo 4 is playable, and as typical for many seasons, not everything went smoothly this time either. A bug has provided a huge advantage for players. Blizzard is now explaining what caused this. A new Unique is to blame.
What bug is it about? A bug in Diablo 4 allowed players to gain millions of EXP when defeating certain Stronghold bosses. Games Radar reports, for example, about a player who defeated the boss Nilcar and jumped from level 29 to level 63.
Other players also showed enormous jumps, which can only stem from several million experience points. However, players could not reliably replicate the bug. Initially, it was believed that it was due to the Hunter, as the many EXP jumps primarily occurred with this class.
The suspicion is at least not entirely wrong. As Blizzard has now finally confirmed, a new Hunter Unique is responsible for the bug, namely Umbracrux, one of the new Uniques from Season 5.

A new Unique is to blame
What is Umbracrux supposed to do? Normally, the dagger spawns a Totem when you activate a deception ability. If you attack the Totem, a certain amount of damage is redirected from the Totem to nearby enemies. This counts as a trap skill.
However, if you had equipped the weapon, the bug that caused the millions of EXP could be triggered. A Community Manager from Blizzard posted this in the official forum. Apparently, the problem relates to the weapon’s ability and the Totem, as the weapon itself is not disabled, only the skill.
You can still find and equip the Unique, but the associated skill with the Shadow Totem is currently not activated. A fix is being worked on and the ability will be activated again when the bug is fixed.
It’s not the first bug in a new season. Diablo regularly has issues with bugs and glitches, especially at the start of a new season. At least a few players can consider themselves lucky to have skipped much of the leveling process. Team GO Rocket returns to Pokémon GO and takes over an event. Their boss even has a new, legendary Crypto-Pokémon for you.
What kind of event is this? Since August 2, 2024, the Adventure Week has been running in Pokémon GO. Team GO Rocket is now entering the event and bringing some changes with them. The fun will continue until August 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM.

Diablo 4: Players find, the start of a new season is the best time – ‘Everyone is running around with butter knives and burlap sacks’
Since its release, the community has criticized the endgame of Diablo 4. It is said to be boring and repetitive. However, some players now say: Actually, the journey to get there is much more fun anyway.
The endgame of Diablo 4 has been criticized by players since its release. Especially hardcore players found the available content boring at higher levels. Season 4 revamped the endgame, and players said: The endgame finally has a good balance and is even fun.
On Reddit, many players are now realizing that leveling up and building their character is actually much more enjoyable than grinding for the last few percentages of their stats.
Why is the start of the season the best time? At the beginning of a new season, players create a new character to level up and build further. They farm loot and XP, become stronger, and gradually unlock all content in the game:

A large part of the players discussing in the comments of the thread seems to share a similar view. “Backstab_Bill” writes: “I don’t think I like leveling itself, but rather building a character.” To which “ThisTimeAtBandCamp” replies that it’s really fun to take a build through the individual steps to its final version.
Also, “mobofob” believes: The development of a character is the most important thing. “I love how things change over the course of leveling and how there are different phases,” he writes. And “faildoken” thinks that masterworking is a massive grind. He prefers to find a “cool build” that he has never played before and take it from level 1 to 100.

Leveling feels good because it’s the most generic progress system in any RPG. You get stronger directly by killing monsters, instead of only at the endgame where you kill mobs for mats and then [stats] are rerolled to get stronger.

Especially world bosses have often been criticized. In the endgame, where many players have powerful builds and strong gear, the big bosses almost fall over in seconds. Free shooter considered a major rival to Tarkov, launching next week
A free extraction shooter reminiscent of Tarkov is coming to Early Access on Steam next week. We will show you what kind of shooter it is.
Which game is it about? Arena Breakout: Infinite is a realistic extraction shooter from the developer MoreFun Studios. You equip yourself with weapons, vests, and other gear, choose a map, and loot from house to house. You fight against PvE opponents and other players. Afterwards, you must extract with your equipment and the loot you have collected.
If you escape, you keep the extracted loot and your equipment. If you die, you lose everything. This principle ensures an immersive gaming experience, where you should think carefully about what you take into the match and whether you shoot at opponents or try to escape unnoticed.
When is the release? Arena Breakout: Infinite starts Early Access on August 13. Pre-registration is already possible (via Arena Breakout: Infinite).
According to MoreFun Studios, the shooter has a lot to offer at the “Early Access” launch, including 3 maps and 48 different weapons that can be extensively customized. There is also supposed to be a realistic climate system with sunny and cloudy weather conditions.
Why is the shooter considered a rival to Tarkov? Escape from Tarkov is also a realistic extraction shooter, so the gameplay is very similar. Like in Arena Breakout: Infinite, you also fight against other players and AI opponents in Tarkov and try to extract with your loot.
Apart from the very similar, but typical game principle for extraction shooters, the setting and the menu navigation also remind of Escape from Tarkov.
Unlike Escape from Tarkov, Arena Breakout: Infinite is free-to-play and available on Steam. This could ensure that many players will at least try the extraction shooter.

In Helldivers 2, there are many boosters that you can earn, but which ones are the best? In our tier list, we provide the answer and also show you how to obtain the boosters.
What are boosters? In Helldivers 2, you can choose boosters before a mission. These provide you advantages in your operations. From increased vitality to shorter wait times for evacuations, there are many options that can make your life easier. Therefore, it’s important to bring the right boosters for each mission.
How do I get boosters? You obtain boosters by spending medals in the War Bonds. Currently, there are a total of 12 boosters that you can earn and equip (as of August 8, 2024).

Which are the best boosters? The race for the best boosters is mainly made up of four improvements. These include Hellpod Space Optimization, Muscle Improvement, Stamina Improvement, and Vitality Improvement.
With a group that has equipped all of these improvements, you will always be well-prepared, traverse rugged terrain with ease, sprint longer, and withstand injuries. This is especially important at higher difficulty levels.
Can I also use other boosters? Of course, depending on which mission you are tackling, you can swap out the boosters. Examples such as Location Disruption can make exploring easier, while Evacuation Pilot Ace allows for quick evacuations.
No booster is completely useless; players just need to decide which ones are worth it. Increased and Flexible Reinforcement Budgets are both boosters intended mainly for newcomers. They forgive mistakes, which is especially common as a Cadet. However, as you get better, you don’t need second chances, but buffs that especially make an impact in combat and while fleeing.

The community of Helldivers 2 has found out who is responsible for the nerfs of their favorite weapons: a bug
Helldivers 2 has received yet another nerf to a popular weapon, but players have now realized who is to blame.
In Helldivers 2, nerfs to weapons and tactical equipment are a tiresome topic that keeps resurfacing. The community settles on what is currently strongest and plays it extensively. The developers see that certain weapons and equipment are played more than others and nerf them. And players are annoyed because their favorite weapons are constantly being weakened.
We have already experienced this cycle multiple times in the short life of Helldivers 2:
- It all started with the first major balance changes in March.
- It worsened when a patch made changes to 24 weapons in April.
- Generally, whenever there were major weapon nerfs, players were upset. Criticism followed.
Ultimately, in May, even the former CEO of Helldivers developer Arrowhead addressed the community and stated that they had gone too far with the nerfs and had patched the fun out of the game. That was supposed to change. But then, with the new update, another nerf hit a popular weapon: the flamethrower.
Community finds the culprit for the nerfs
Who is to blame for the nerfs? After the latest nerf, an observant Helldiver on Reddit made a discovery. He found out that a specific bug is responsible for all the nerfs: the Charger.
Chargers are large armored bugs that charge at you like a bull and try to trample you. They have a weak spot on their rear that can burst. Alternatively, you can shoot strong, explosive projectiles at their head or destroy the armor on their legs to reveal a new weak spot.
The player now believes that every major annoying nerf was due to the Chargers: “What caused the first round of nerfs? Players used the railgun too often because of Charger spam,” he elaborates further, “The Quasar cannon, the bow thrower, the flamethrower, EVERY nerfed weapon is a direct result of being used to deal with the abundance of Chargers on higher difficulties.”
This keeps the community from the theory: Many players find the theory plausible and agree with the Reddit user. In just under 24 hours, the post gathered over 8,700 upvotes and 1,100 comments.
One player mentions in the comments that when he plays bug missions, he exclusively chooses anti-Charger equipment. After all, he only has the choice to get rid of them or try to dodge up to three Chargers at the same time before ultimately being completely overwhelmed. This comment also received over 4,400 upvotes from the community.
Many players believe that Chargers need a nerf: less health on their legs; greater effectiveness of explosive weapons, regardless of where they hit; or that the weak spot on the rear bursts faster.

“My thighs hurt” – An actor had to really suffer in Red Dead Redemption 2 so that you could be out and about secretly
Red Dead Redemption 2 is celebrated for its high level of detail. The game tries to present itself as real as possible. That’s why the characters were portrayed by real actors, who brought their movements into the game through motion capture technology. One movement caused a lot of pain.
What particularly hurt the actors? In an interview with Gamology, Roger Clark revealed which exercise particularly took a toll on him. The actor portrays the main character Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 and accordingly had to capture many movements in order for players to run with him through the Wild West.
The most difficult part was running in a crouch. Clark had to do this for several days:
- ran
- sneaked
- ran in a crouch
- ran with a pistol
- ran with two pistols
- ran in a crouch with a rifle
All of this not only sounds like a sports program; it was apparently very exhausting. Clark reports that his thighs hurt three days later. And all this just so that opponents in Red Dead Redemption 2 wouldn’t discover you immediately.
However, Clark thinks there’s something good about Rockstar using so much attention to detail. MeinMMO listed some examples for you. Besides the pain, the high level of detail also had some advantages, according to Clark.

Why is that a good thing? Clark is happy that the game’s protagonist imitates his movements. The character moves just like the actor. Even rubbing his nose was something he did like Clark.
However, this also comes at a high price. According to Clark, actors often doubt themselves. He often thinks about what he produced at work one or two weeks later.
Sometimes he thinks that his movements are not good enough and that he should have done something differently. He regrets a scene with Arthur Morgan, which we don’t want to spoil for you here.

„I was shocked by this ad“: Alleged fraudsters wanted to rent an apartment, using images from The Sims 4
A woman was searching for a suitable apartment for herself and her husband when she stumbled upon a curious offer. The pictures of the apartment reminded her of a video game – a clear scam?
What happened? Finding a suitable apartment is not an easy task. Especially when one faces stumbling blocks in the form of fraudulent offers.
The X user @Brujita_may wanted to find an apartment in the Spanish city of Valencia, together with her husband, who came across a quite attractive offer during the search.
However, when he showed the ad to his wife, she became suspicious. The pictures that were visible reminded her of a video game.
Sims 4 as a Means of Scam
What was visible? The apartment offer included some photos, as usual. Although “photos” is not quite accurate; “screenshots” is a better term. While the first image looked like a real facade of a house, the next ones were clearly screenshots from Sims 4 – the latest installment in a series, which was originally supposed to look different.
It seemed as though someone had built an apartment in the game and posted it as a real ad on the internet platform. The user recognized Sims 4 and uncovered the scam attempt. At first, she was shocked by it, she says. When asked, the landlords stated that the screenshots were a “projection” of what they actually expected.
The story quickly spread online and went viral. Meanwhile, the original ad has been taken offline for 425 euros per month.
Other X users ironically commented under @Brujita_may’s post that she could have activated the Sims cheat “motherlode” to quickly get the fictional currency Simoleons. Perhaps the offer could have been paid this way.
- “If I want to leave the house, does a loading screen appear?”, wonders @lakiaru on x.com.
- “But does it only contain items from the base game or do we need additional expansions?”, writes @weirdfixswift on x.com
- “The housing crisis has reached the Sims,” notes @Angelfrage on x.com.
The woman did well to be suspicious given the dubious offer. Fortunately, she knew Sims 4 and recognized the scam attempt right away. One can only hope that she eventually found a suitable apartment. Sims 4 recently received a new update, which causes broken hearts – and some other problems.

After 14 years, players betray their class in Final Fantasy XIV because they prefer the new one much more
Next to the Viper, the Pictomancer is a new job in the Dawntrail expansion of the MMORPG. Players in Final Fantasy XIV have had enough time to test the class by now. Fans are exchanging ideas and raving about the Pictomancer. It is said to be so good that many players are leaving a certain job behind.
Which job is it about? The Pictomancer is a magical ranged fighter, thus belonging to the same category as the Black Mage. The jobs are quite similar:
- Both jobs are designed for maximum damage
- They have long spell casting times, which means they mostly stand still
- Although both the Black Mage and the Pictomancer are magical ranged fighters, unlike other representatives such as the Summoner, they cannot revive other characters.
In the current balancing patch, the development team even made sure that the difference between Black Mage and Pictomancer is not too large. Therefore, the Pictomancer remained as it is. The Black Mage was nerfed for that.
However, there are still many fans in the community who have switched their favorite class with Dawntrail. In the Reddit forum, some players report how much fun they have had since the switch.

“I finally tried it”
Why have many players switched jobs? A thread was opened in the Reddit forum with a meme showing Andy from Toy Story throwing Woody to the ground. In this case, Woody symbolizes the Black Mage being abandoned for the Pictomancer.
In the comments, numerous players discuss why the Pictomancer is better. It is said that outside the 2-minute meta and buff windows, it is less rigid than the Black Mage. With the hammer, one could move wonderfully without having to fear for their damage.
The Pictomancer feels fun and intuitive. Although it would hurt that the class cannot revive, it is a bearable price. Because the bosses like Suzie Summ Honey Sweet in the new expansion require more movement, the Pictomancer is the better choice.
However, there are also some dissenting voices. One user has been a Black Mage since patch 2.0 and always will be. Moreover, the Black Mage is simply cooler with its explosions, even if the Pictomancer may have better gameplay quality.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is 1 year old and to celebrate the creators share your dirty secrets
The undisputed game of the year 2023 celebrated its first birthday. To commemorate, the developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 have presented a true feast of statistics.
On August 3, 2024, the full release of Baldur’s Gate 3 marked its first anniversary, and Larian’s role-playing game still captivates tens of thousands of players – including none other than MeinMMO editor-in-chief Leya Jakowski.
The title thrives on its high replay value and the nearly unlimited possibilities available to players. But just because Larian imposes few limits does not mean they won’t judge you for your choices.
Here’s a quick refresher on the success of Baldur’s Gate 3:
Developers note: You cannot be trusted
What has Larian revealed? For the anniversary, a series of statistics were released on the official X account of Baldur’s Gate 3, providing deep insights – possibly too deep.
A total of 75 million kisses with companions have taken place. Unsurprisingly, the top spots are held by fan favorites Shadowheart with 27 million kisses and Astarion with 15 million – notably, the latter is not in the top 3 romances in Act 1 or Act 3. This again shows that Astarion has a relatively small, but much more dedicated fan base.
Nearly 170,000 characters were also willing to commit mass murder to get closer to a beautiful Drow.
The developers also reveal that more than 650,000 players became intimate with the druid Halsin: 70% chose his human form, while nearly a third danced the bear
. Well, this decision may not be too surprising, considering that this very love scene contributed to the bear-strong success of Baldur’s Gate 3.
That more than twice as many players – 37% from 1.1 million – chose to have a fling with an intellect devourer in all its tentacled glory, we will just leave at that. But, of course, there was a reward for that.
