In Destiny, the Iron Banner runs in April 2017. Lord Efrideet brings a strong offering. What weapon rolls does she have and which armor pieces provide 100% for T12?
With the start of the “Iron Banner,” Lord Efrideet took her usual place at the Felwinter Peak. She is your contact for this PvP event. She has bounties for you and, at certain Iron Banner ranks, also armor pieces and weapons.
With Iron Banner Gear to T12 – This is the 100% Armor
T12 is mentioned when your Guardian can fill 12 slots in the attributes of Intellect, Discipline, and Strength. If you want to achieve this, you need armor pieces that have an average of over 96% of the possible stat rolls. This week, all items with Efrideet have at least 96%, so you can buy them without concern. These items achieve a solid 100%:
These items are available from Iron Banner Rank 3 for 25 Legendary Marks.
The Proud Tower Top – Shotgun
From Iron Banner Rank 4 and with 50 Legendary Marks, you can acquire The Proud Tower Top. It deals Void damage and has a Light level of 380. This shotgun was forged in honor of Silimar and belongs to the archetype with a high fire rate but low impact. Reload speed, stability, and aim assist are above average, while range is low.
These are the perks:
Linear Compensator, Improved Ballistics, or Field Choke
You have the choice between:
Enhanced Barrel: Increased range, slower reload
Oiled Frame: Fast reload, reduced range
Choice between:
Lightweight: +2 Character Agility
Attached Magazine: Larger magazine, slower reload
Choice between:
Performance Bonus: Kills can grant additional reserve ammunition
Life Support: Kills while severely wounded can initiate health regeneration
The Unbent Tree – Auto Rifle
You can only buy The Unbent Tree from Rank 5 and with 50 Legendary Marks. This auto rifle was forged in honor of Saladin and has a max fire rate of 100, but a minimum impact of 2. Magazine and reload speed are top-notch, but range and stability are poor.
These are the perks:
Iron Red Dot, Iron Warrior Scope, and Iron Range Scope
Spring Magazine: Faster reload, reduced magazine size
Choice between:
Balance Adjustment: Stability increased
Hip Fire: Additional precision when firing from the hip
The Unbent Tree definitely needs more stability, which you can achieve here with Perfect Balance, Stabilized Frame, and Balance Adjustment. If you want to test the gun, you can certainly grab it here.
The riddle of the Riddler’s Mind Worm is solved. We will tell you step by step how to get it.
This article was originally published in April 2017. We have updated it since.
After we reported a while ago that the World of Warcraft community is on a hot trail, the riddle of the “Riddler’s Mind Worm” has now been solved. The flying mount awaits all players at the end of a rather long and difficult scavenger hunt that would likely never have been solved by a single player.
The scavenger hunt leads players across all of Azeroth, where they must find and click various pages of a book to make the next page visible. However, the clues on the book pages are very cryptic, and there is no clear direction.
In the early hours of April 12th, the Riddlers of the “WoW Secret Finding” Discord server finally deciphered the last hint and obtained the mount. We will now tell you how you can also get the mount.
How to Find the Riddler’s Mind Worm
You must click all pages in order. There is no time pressure, but after the weekly maintenance your progress will be reset – so it’s best to check all pages in one day.
Page 1 can be found in the current Dalaran, in a bookshelf in the central inn.
Page 2 is located in Darkshore, in the central crater at a moonwell, near the Dreamportal (coordinates 49 / 33).
Page 3 is waiting in the raid instance Firelands near the final boss Ragnaros. The next hint is located at the edge of the battle platform.
For Page 4, you need to travel to Uldum, to the southeast of the area, where the river flows into the sea. The note is at coordinates 70 / 78.
Page 5 can be found in the raid instance “The Siege of Orgrimmar” – the note is hidden in the boss chamber of the “Sha of Pride”.
Page 6 is located in the instance “The Well of Eternity” in the Caverns of Time. Play through the instance to the end, the note is on the southeastern shore of the well.
Page 7 is located in Pandaria, in the Kun-Lai Summit. Hidden on a small ledge by the Shado-Pan Monastery (coordinates 34 / 51).
The final Page 8 is in Uldum, in the eastern part of the area. At a statue at coordinates 76 / 53, almost perfectly camouflaged with the color of the stone.
After that, you need to go to Westfall, where the Riddler’s chest containing the mount is located. It is found in the wreckage of a small boat at coordinates 30 / 28.
Have fun with the mount!
The screenshots shown were taken from the Discord server, the corresponding Imgur page is noted in our sources. The many active players there deserve the thanks for solving this riddle, especially the screenshots used here from Ashley.
Patch 1.10/2.09 for Overwatch is live and has changed the favorite healer. The tank newcomer Orisa receives a small buff.
Today, on April 11, 2017, the event “Uprising” of Overwatch went live. But alongside the new game mode where 4 players fight against Omnic hordes, there were also some balance changes. We have translated the patch notes for patch 1.10 (PC), 2.09 (PS4) of Overwatch for you, which concern the game balance.
Patch notes for Overwatch 1.10/2.09 – Here are the hero changes
Lúcio
Sound Amplifier
Damage increased by 25%
Projectile speed increased from 40 to 50
The alternate fire mode now considers the vertical orientation of the weapon when it knocks back opponents
Crossfade
Effective radius reduced from 30 meters to 10 meters
Healing Song
Healing per second increased by 30% (also affects Lúcio’s “Amp it Up”)
Self-healing reduced by 25%
Wall Ride
Movement speed during wall rides increased by 20%
Lúcio now receives a brief speed boost when he pushes off a wall
Orisa
The size of Orisa’s headshot hitbox has been reduced by 15%
Besides the hero changes, there are also some new features on the maps. In Eichenwalde, a new path has been built for attackers, connecting the attackers’ spawn room with the control point. Fights will no longer only take place “under the bridge,” which made many matches monotonous.
In addition, there are numerous bug fixes and small improvements. Each character now has a short description in the hero gallery. Reporting toxic players is now also easier, and violations are clearly illustrated with examples. You can find the complete patch notes in their original English version in our sources.
The latest event from Overwatch is now live. The “Uprising” brings numerous new skins and finally a fresh PvE mode! However, there are no Overwatch patch notes.
As promised, Overwatch today, on April 11, 2017, launched a new event. The “Uprising” brings a lot of new cosmetic upgrades and even a fresh game mode. The latest Overwatch patch is about 1.5 GB on PC and may therefore take a while to download on slower connections.
During the event, all new loot boxes will be replaced with special event loot boxes that may contain all new cosmetic upgrades.
The eponymous “Uprising” is a key event in Overwatch’s past, just before the organization is disbanded. Overwatch is already embroiled in negative news and has no real authority to act – especially not in England. Nevertheless, a team is sent to bring the situation under control.
The event includes not only numerous new skins, highlight intros, and spray logos but primarily the coveted PvE mode “Uprising”, in which four players must work together to contain the threat of the Omnics and complete various mission objectives. Depending on the performance, there are then experience points and thus loot boxes. The new game mode can be selected through the Arcade and is also only available until the end of the event.
New Skins and Game Modes in Overwatch’s Uprising
Among the most sought-after items are probably the new skins, which showcase the well-known Overwatch heroes in outfits.

The event runs from April 11 to May 1 inclusive. Anyone looking to secure corresponding loot boxes with a chance of new skins, sprays, voicelines, and emotes should play more Overwatch in the coming weeks and perhaps let the May tour fall through. Or simply throw a bunch of money at the problem, as loot boxes can also be purchased with real money.
There are no patch notes yet for the “Uprising” – however, the update probably only contains the new game modes and cosmetic expansions.
The first expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands will be released this month. There are monster trucks, choppers, and cool missions!
Ubisoft announced today more detailed information regarding the first expansion of Ghost Recon Wildlands. The DLC is called Narco Road and tasks you with infiltrating a smuggling ring and its gangs to earn the respect of three new bosses. Additionally, new vehicles like monster trucks await you, with which you can take on racing challenges.
Players with a Premium Pass can access these new contents one week early.
GRW – Narco Road DLC Release, Contents, and Price
As the developers announced today, the Narco Road DLC will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 18 for owners with a Premium Pass. For all other players, the expansion will unlock a week later, on April 25, and costs $14.99.
You must earn the respect of three gangster bosses in Narco Road. Each boss controls a gang with its own identity:
The adventurous Kamikaze – Boss: Eddie Escovado
The Jinetes Locos, who love muscle cars – Boss: Tonio Mateos
And the Death Riders, who are possessed by Santa Muerte – Boss: Arturo Rey
In the Narco Road expansion, interesting new contents are available to enhance the gaming experience. This includes new types of side missions and racing challenges:
More than 15 new story missions
Four new types of side missions and racing challenges
These challenges will bring you fame and followers. The more “followers” you get, the more popular you become with the gang bosses and get closer to your big goal.
New vehicles like muscle cars with nitro boost are waiting for you. These were already shown in a DLC leak from last week.
Planes for special acrobatic maneuvers in the air will be available to you
Radical chopper motorcycles and huge monster trucks are also part of the DLC
In addition to the new vehicles, there are four new outfits and nine weapons!
Weekly Challenges with Rewards
A free update will be available starting April 12 for Xbox One and PS4 players and on April 14 for PC players. This update activates the Live Season Challenges and new rewards for Wildlands. The theme of the first season is “The Rise and Fall of Unidad” and challenges players to complete Unidad operations.
The challenges of the first season will change every Wednesday. The season lasts for six weeks and gives players up to three unique rewards per week.
In Destiny, the Iron Banner started in April 2017. How you can get the loot is explained here.
The last Iron Banner event in Destiny was the “February Iron Banner”. This took place from late February into March. Therefore, there was no separate “March Iron Banner” – possibly also because with the Age of Triumph, an irregularity occurred in the usual monthly rhythm.
Now the PvP event is back as the April Iron Banner. It starts on April 11 at 7 PM and ends on April 18 at 11 AM. The game mode is Control. Here, there are zones A, B, and C, and at this point, we have two tips: Don’t just shoot at the opponents, but also capture zones. And: Owning two zones is enough.
The featured weapons are the auto rifle “The Unyielding Tree” and the shotgun “The Proud Spire“. Additionally, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters have gloves and class items.
Hunter:
Warlock:
Titan:
Updates since the Age of Triumph:
There is now a chance that Dusty Iron Engrams will contain “Iron Companions” armor pieces from Year 2.
The rewards for Iron Banner matches have been updated and now include “Iron Companions” armor pieces from Year 2.
The chance for armor pieces from Year 1 and Year 2 in Iron Banner matches has been slightly increased.
Some items from Efrideet’s dealer have updated perks.
The Iron Banner Loot – How to Get It
If you are new to Destiny or haven’t played Iron Banner in a while, here are the key facts about the loot. There are four ways to get the loot:
Purchase from Efrideet: Every month, Efrideet offers two of the “Iron Banner” weapons with fixed perks: This time the auto rifle and the shotgun. The armor pieces can also be purchased from her.
Random drop after Iron Banner matches: The two weapons offered by Efrideet can drop after matches with random perks. Also, the armor pieces and other Iron Banner-specific rewards.
Reward for completing bounty quests: If you successfully complete Efrideet’s bounties, you will receive an immediate reward. Any Iron Banner gear piece can randomly be included, not just the items featured this week.
Random reward for the quest “The Pursuit of Light”, where you need to reach rank 1, 3, and 5 in Iron Banner. This quest is available only once!
The MMORPG Skyforge is now also available for Playstation 4, which is why we took a look at this version. Read here our Skyforge PS4 review corresponding to the PS4 release.
Skyforge was already released in summer 2015 for PC as part of a so-called soft launch, during which the open beta seamlessly transitioned into the official version. We have already published a detailed review of this version online, therefore we will only briefly touch on the basics of the game here.
Skyforge – A rather unconventional MMORPG
Skyforge transports you to the world of Aelion, where fantasy and science fiction elements collide. The god of Aelion has disappeared, which extraterrestrial deities now utilize for invasions to conquer the world. You are an immortal who is supposed to fend off these attacks.
Through your actions, you gather power and followers and can even ascend to become a god. The game is not played in an open world, but in many instances of varying sizes – although there are also some open areas to explore. You regularly receive notifications about missions and invasions and decide which task to undertake.
Your hero is not restricted to a class; you may choose to switch before each quest, depending on which class is currently needed in the group. The individual missions follow a linear path. You fight your way through the area, occasionally talk to NPCs, and usually battle a boss at the end. The combat system operates in a familiar manner. Your character automatically attacks, and you select the skills they should use and when you want to dodge. Things get interesting when you have unlocked your god form and can wreak havoc among your enemies. You can find more information in our detailed review.

With the release of the PS4 version, the MMORPG is now also playable on the console. One should not expect significant changes to the PC version. The controller controls have also existed for PC for quite some time. So, if you have played Skyforge on PC with a controller, you will quickly acclimate to the console version. You use the R1 and R2 buttons to execute attacks and spells, and with a press of L3, you dodge attacks. You aim at enemies with L1. The controls work well and make you hardly miss the mouse and keyboard. This makes the battles feel more dynamic than on the PC.
Skyforge is largely suitable for solo players. Most missions are relatively short and scale well. However, there are also group content for up to ten players, featuring PvE and optionally PvP in various modes. Especially the endgame content, such as Pantheon Wars, is designed for groups. As a solo player, you cannot accomplish much here. Good groups can be formed through the group finder.
Weak story, but better PvP and group play
Skyforge is defined less by the story, as it never really picks up and serves only as a decorative accessory. A major appeal, however, comes from unlocking new classes, of which there are a total of 14 in the game. Since you can switch between the classes at any time, there is a lot of variety. Want to do mission A as a Paladin and mission B as an Ice Mage Cryomancer? No problem. Although it is possible to specialize in one class.
If you prefer to play solo, you will eventually find that certain boss fights are easier to master with specific classes. Each class can further develop through talents.
Graphically, Skyforge can certainly convince. You explore beautiful landscapes and battle interestingly designed monsters. Spectacular effects shake the screen during battles. This looks even better on a large TV than on a monitor. However, the story – as already mentioned – simply does not keep up with the graphical presentation. Although you occasionally admire longer cutscenes, the plot drags on, and especially the inconsequential and somewhat unmotivated (English) dialogues fail to generate the motivation to pay much attention to the story.
So if you prefer an exciting narrative in an MMORPG, you will not find it in Skyforge. Also in terms of loot and equipment, the online role-playing game does not offer enough depth. However, it is impressive in terms of scope. There is simply a tremendous amount to do, and the PvP modes as well as the group content are a lot of fun. Battling bosses together or fighting others in Payload, Deathmatch, or Capture the Flag is an extremely enjoyable experience. Additionally, the fact that the free-to-play model is quite fair makes Skyforge an MMORPG that can be enjoyed repeatedly – even on the console.

Skyforge did not really engage me on PC. I am someone who places a lot of value on a cool story, preferably with visible consequences for my actions. And here the MMORPG from the Allods Team sadly struggles a bit. You can tell that the developers care about telling good stories. However, they just don’t ignite. Also in terms of loot and equipment, other genre representatives offer more. If you’re into loot orgies like Destiny, Skyforge will probably not appeal to you.
However, it convinces with its extensive content, which on console does not even reach the dimensions of the PC version, yet already offers months of engagement. The controller controls work flawlessly, and the group content and PvP system are also convincing. I did not feel pressured by the free-to-play model. I had no ambitions to buy anything in the shop. However, those who want to progress faster can splurge in the shop.
In general, it can be said that Skyforge provides new, free content for PS4 owners, which, while not perfect, is still fun.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
As a teenager, he reportedly made $140,000 selling hacks and Overwatch aimbots. He has now been arrested.
As reported by the South Korean website “Daum,” aimbot manufacturer was arrested after producing various programs for cheating in online games, including Overwatch. The hacker is only 17 years old and dropped out of school to dedicate himself to his programming passion.
Instead of writing tests, he preferred to write hacks
The news from the South Korean website was translated by Reddit user Calycae. In the translation, he explains that the hacker dropped out of high school to have more time to create hack software for video games. His passion for this specific topic developed as early as fourth grade when he saw a video by Anonymous on this subject.
It seems that this passion initially paid off for the teenager. Because as the police report, he sold the programs for about $70 to $100, earning around $140,000.
In competitive multiplayer games like Overwatch, cheaters are not well regarded in the community. They gain unfair advantages over other players through additional software like aimbots or wallhacks. However, the community is not united on the punishment for cheaters and manufacturers. Many consider prison sentences to be “too harsh.” The exact punishment awaiting the teenager is not clear from the translation.
Considering the story from the human side, it is sad to see that a young person with such talent is now being punished. Had he chosen “the other side,” there would surely be many software developers who would need someone with his programming skills.
World of Tanks gets a new game mode called “Frontlines.” In it, a total of 60 players fight for control of a massive map. You can already test the new mode as a beta on the “Sandbox” test server.
World of Tanks is usually played in a 15vs15 format. The maps are a maximum of 1km² large, so the battles remain quite manageable. That will change soon. The developers at Wargaming are developing a game mode for World of Tanks that allows double the number of players to compete against each other on significantly larger maps.

World of Tanks – Frontlines – Huge Maps in Portions
The new game mode is called “Frontlines” and represents an epic tank battle with 30 vehicles per side. If you wish, you can also join various tank formations of five players each. This way, you’ll rumble across the battlefield, which is 9 square kilometers significantly larger than the old maps.
This massive battlefield is not available from the start. Instead, you must gradually unlock the individual sectors (each as large as a regular WoT map) of the battlefield. To do this, you capture local points as attackers, thereby steadily expanding the terrain. The other side plays as defenders and tries to stop the opponent’s advance. The available tanks are limited to Tier 10 or Tier 7 (light tanks).

It is likely that there will also be respawns. Wargaming has not officially confirmed this yet, but without respawns, the large battles would make little sense.
As a partner for the Frontlines mode, Wargaming has brought the Austrian studio Bongfish onto the team. Therefore, the core aspects of the new mode originate from the Alpine Republic rather than Belarus.
World of Tanks – Frontlines – How to join the Beta on the Test Server
The test version of Frontlines has been running since April 10 on the World of Tanks test server “Sandbox.” To participate there, you can apply to Wargaming for participation on the Sandbox server under the link provided here .
The new GTA 5 Online adversary mode “Land Grab” is full of action and fast-paced gameplay – campers won’t get far here.
In GTA 5 Online, there is a new game mode starting today, which takes place without vehicles but with heavy weapons instead. In this mode, you fight for control of a map and must capture as many fields as possible before time runs out. With heavy shotguns, assault rifles, and rocket launchers, you can take down opponents and prevent them from capturing more fields.
GTA 5 Online Adversary Mode – Land Grab
The “Land Grab” mode is one of the action modes in GTA 5 Online. You are not only fighting against the opposing team, but also against the clock. Up to four teams can compete against each other here and fight for territorial dominance. To ensure variety, you have a total of seven maps to choose from for this adversary mode.
The maps are not huge, but offer just enough distance for a sniper rifle to be worthwhile in your inventory. But beware: those who camp will lose. Because it is not about getting cool kills with the sniper, like in Ghost Recon Wildlands, but about capturing areas on the map. If you just stand in the base and try to get kills from there, you won’t be helping your team much.
The walls on the maps provide you opportunities to seek cover and reload. However, they also give enemies the chance to come around the corner with a shotgun and pump you full of lead. Stay in motion, hide briefly to reload, and keep an eye on the minimap.
The team that has captured the most fields when time runs out wins. Multiple rounds are played.
You have access to not only shotguns but also assault rifles, submachine guns, and sniper rifles. The maps also offer you explosive weapons that you can collect. Until April 24, you earn double RP and GTA$ in Land Grab.
Is BioWare reviving the legendary KOTOR games? Several signs point to yes.
When thinking about the great RPG gems of the last decades and having at least a slight affinity for Star Wars, one cannot avoid Knights of the Old Republic. While the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic has more or less followed in the footsteps of the game series, it does not offer the same depth of story as a pure single-player RPG.
Fans have therefore long wished for BioWare to finally revive the KOTOR series.
According to a rumor, this is now happening! As Liam Robertson explained in his Patreon podcast, he has some anonymous sources at BioWare and revealed based on their statements:
“I know that [BioWare Austin] is working almost exclusively on “Star Wars” games and will continue to do so for an indefinite period. What they are currently working on – and I have this from a reliable source – is a kind of remake or revival of Knights of the Old Republic. I don’t know when it will be released, but it has been in development for a while already.”
Furthermore, BioWare is reportedly saying goodbye to the “old” lore for this project and instead building the game on the new canon that came with the transition of rights to Disney. The game started as a remake of KOTOR, but has since evolved into something new and standalone.
Another indicator is the fact that Drew Karpyshyn, who was engaged as a writer for the original KOTOR, has been working for BioWare again for a year – he did not participate in Mass Effect: Andromeda. When asked if he is working on a new game, he said:
“Yes, but that’s all I can say for now. Damn, that might already be too much. :)”

So far, this is nothing more than rumors. Until BioWare issues an official statement, fans can hope. Because who wouldn’t want to swing lightsabers in the old republic again?
Impact on SWTOR?
Some fans also fear that this development could adversely affect Star Wars: The Old Republic, as the game world is set in an “outdated” story universe. However, there is currently no indication that SWTOR will be put to sleep or revamped. The story of the MMORPG will likely remain unchanged and continue to be expanded with new content.
To Black Desert Online, the sandbox MMO from Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss, there was a presentation in Korea about new content. Among these were new sea monsters and even more elf forests, as well as a new class called Striker, who is supposed to become a martial arts fighter.
Each of the existing classes in Black Desert Online is lovingly designed and brings its own flair. From the dark sorceress to the cute witch, the rough berserker, or the new Dark Blade, each class has its own style and special gameplay mechanics.
So does the latest class, which was recently teased in Korea: the martial arts fighter “Striker”.

Black Desert Online: Skills of the new class Striker – Combos and Punches
The Striker is a dapper Kung-Fu warrior who does not need weapons to inflict maximum damage. He hammers on his opponents with hands and feet and transforms individual moves into devastating combos. Need some examples?
With the shoulder tackle Adamantine, he can quickly close the gap to the opponent
The Knee Hammer is a devastating attack where the Striker crushes the enemy in mid-air with his knee. The attack immediately takes down small opponents, and against larger ones, the Striker can add further moves as a combo to beat the enemy into the air and continue to batter him.
Soaring Crash is an uppercut attack that knocks back and over enemies.
From a spin, the Striker can execute devastating Spinning Slashes.
If an opponent becomes too cheeky, the Striker grabs him via Massive Suppression and beats him to a pulp before slamming him to the ground.
The Striker is a tactically demanding class thanks to its many skills and combos, but it requires quite a bit of skill and practice. Clever players should have a lot of fun with it and discover countless combos. In PvP, Strikers are particularly good at defeating an enemy in a 1vs1 duel. Apparently, all Strikers are male.
However, another class has also been hinted at. This is apparently female and features a kind of rope. Unfortunately, not much more was seen, as only a silhouette was shown.
Black Desert Online – More Elf Forest and Water Monsters
The new class of the Striker is clearly the highlight of the upcoming updates for Black Desert Online, but it is not the only new addition to the game. The Dark Elf region of Kamasylvia (which is not yet included in the Western version) will receive an expansion that features new hunting grounds full of mushroom creatures, the city of Grana, and the mysterious “Tooth Fairy Forest”.

Additionally, there will be a new water monster in the ocean. The giant creature is known as “Vell” and is said to present a challenge to entire guilds. PvP fans will have the option to form informal gangs with the militias, whose names and guild affiliations will remain anonymous. This way, militia troops can covertly participate in the wars of the large guilds and be the tipping point.
BDO – Skills, Unicorns, and Airships
If that’s not enough, players can look forward to new skills that match the level of your awakenings and are created from two pre-awakening skills that you can combine. The live skills will also receive an expansion and will be complemented with various abilities for jumping and climbing.

Those who prefer to ride instead of climb can acquire the recently announced Tier-9 unicorn mount “Dineh”. The unicorn can also heal thanks to its magical horn. However, those who prefer to travel in the air can soon pilot airships that are attached to balloons.
Many of these innovations are still in an early development stage and may change. Moreover, they will first be released for the Korea version and will be implemented with some delay for the Western version. When this will happen is still unknown.
In Destiny, the 390 light level version of the King’s Fall raid is live! Information on the raid challenges with the War Priest, Golgoroth, and Oryx in Year 3.
Since April 11, 2017, the Oryx raid has a new endgame-level version: From now on, you can earn loot up to light level 400.
While the Vault of Glass and Crota’s End received new raid challenges, the previous challenges from King’s Fall have been carried over to Year 3 for the 390 version. Every four weeks, all three challenges (War Priest, Golgoroth, Oryx) are active simultaneously. By successfully completing a challenge, you earn raid ornaments and an exotic adept weapon each time. These now come with elemental damage:
Auto rifle: Anguish of Drystan (Arc)
Hand cannon: Curse of Zaouli (Void)
Pulse rifle: Anguish of Merain (Solar)
Scout rifle: Corruption of Chelchis (Void)

Challenges with the War Priest, Golgoroth, and Oryx
The first Guardians have already completed the 390 version and can confirm: There are no changes to the mechanics in the challenges. If you have already defeated the bosses in Year 2 countless times, you should have no problem with the procedures in Year 3.
With the War Priest, a different Guardian must carry the “Aura” each time, which is called the “Mark of the Initiate.” Here is an old video guide on it:

With the Age of Triumph, a new feature was introduced for the challenge modes of the Vault of Glass and Crota’s End, where a notification appears when the challenge fails. This way, Guardians immediately know whether to wipe or if they should finish the encounter: “Maybe the run is still valid!” However, as Community Manager Cozmo stated, this notification is only available for the two old raids. In King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine, it is still missing.
The quest Champions of the Legion Judges in WoW causes problems. No wonder – you are forced to actually read the quest texts.
Since this morning, April 11, there is a new quest on the Broken Shore in World of Warcraft. The night elf warden Maiev Shadowsong wants players to “recruit a new champion for the Order Hall” – but how exactly does that work?
First things first: After you accept the quest, return to your Order Hall. There you will receive the real mission, to seek out a character in need and assist them with advice and action.
Each class gets its own little quest series for the new follower. Paladins, for example, need to find a somewhat quirky knight, while priests must solve the riddle of a new plague and help a banshee and her undead assistant.
WoW Quest: Champions of the Legion Judges – Read quest texts!
It is very important that you read the quest texts carefully. In the new missions, the correct application of your class abilities is often crucial. Priests, for instance, must use Levitate to collect samples unimpeded. To do this, they must first “bind the undead” to the zombies and then secure the cadavers with the quest item. Elsewhere, rams must first be “debuffed” since they are disguised creatures – even if no magical buff is recognized. The quest text almost always reveals which ability is necessary to complete the task.
Apart from a new companion, completing the quest brings even more: You receive a hefty 1500 reputation points with the Legion Judges, which will bring you significantly closer to flying.
Moreover, you can explore the last two upgrade levels of your Order Hall afterwards! This allows you to increase the maximum number of active followers and have a chance at double artifact power – those who have too many Order resources are doing everything right.
If you want to continue playing “at the top”, you should complete your “Champions of the Legion Judges” quest quickly – and read the quest texts attentively.
A monkey out of control – Winston is finally becoming a popular Overwatch character.
When a tank is called for in Overwatch, one almost automatically expects a Reinhardt, Zarya, or more recently, Orisa. However, since the last patch, Winston is being played more often. He has become a solid representative and is appearing in more and more matches – even though he doesn’t quite fit the tank stereotype.
Similar to Roadhog, Winston also had long-standing issues, as he wasn’t really good at functioning as a protective shield in any way. He prefers to focus on quick movements, disruptions, and control effects to lure opponents out of their positions – making himself an easy target in the process.
Recently, there were some changes to the gorilla and scientist. His deployable barrier is now used more frequently, as the cooldown starts with the placement of the barrier and not – as before – only upon destruction. This change alone ensures that the barrier is active about 35% more often, as players no longer hold it “for the one right moment” and place it more frequently.
Smaller head, larger player base
Additionally, a change was made that reduced his critical hit zone. Winston’s head hasn’t shrunk, but the hitbox has – it was too large before, as noted by the developers.
Although Winston’s play rate is slowly stabilizing, he is still lagging behind the other tanks. Hardly anyone wants to forgo a Reinhardt or Zarya to have a jumping monkey as the only barrier between them and the enemy’s fire.
But a perfect world where all heroes have exactly the same play rate will probably never exist – not even in the positive Overwatch universe.
We show you farm routes where you have a high chance of Menagerist and Rainbow Goblins that drop pets or wings in Diablo 3 (2.5.0).
Goblins in Diablo 3 have special loot for you depending on their type. Blood Goblins reward you with Blood Shards, Jewel Hoarders drop many Gems for you after death. Particularly popular are Menagerist Goblins, as they drop the popular companions that collect gold for you on your adventures. In this article, we show you where to find many goblins and which route is suitable for farming Rainbow Wings or pets.
Farm Routes for Menagerist and Rainbow Goblins – Patch 2.5.0
If you stick to this route, you have the chance to encounter many goblins. The YouTuber Bluddshed explained this route in a guide and found it particularly effective after trying different routes.
The frequency of certain goblins has nothing to do with the difficulty of your game. The chance of a goblin spawn is just as high on Torment I as on Torment X. However, the difficulty affects loot such as Blood Shards or crafting materials. So if you are only looking for cosmetic items, you can choose a difficulty level where you can comfortably “speed farm”.
It is advisable to turn up your sound effects. This way, you can hear the goblins when they are near you. Go to the game options, click on Sound and increase “Sound Effects Volume”.
Farm route in Act 1
Act 1 – Northern Highlands: Here, you have the chance to find a goblin in the lower and upper parts of the map. Look directly around the teleport point for a goblin, then run to the upper area and up the stairs. In this zone, you should also run in a large circle to spot any goblins or at least identify them by sound effects.
Act 1 – Southern Highlands: From the teleport point, you cross the bridge and look for the Moon Clan Cave. Inside the cave, you have a chance to find a goblin on both the first and second levels. Make sure to search both levels when you are there.
Act 1 – Royal Crypts: Here, you should search the entire level up to the entrance of the Skeleton King.
Act 1 – Cathedral Level 2: Look for Leoric’s Corridor / Leoric’s Passage, which is usually near the teleport point. Search for a goblin in this level. If you want, you can also search the entire cathedral if you are already on site. After that, you have completed the route for Act 1 and proceed to Act 2.
Farm route in Act 2
Act 2 – City of Caldeum: From the teleport point, head directly into the sewers. Search the first level there and teleport to the next point afterwards.
Act 2 – Ancient Waterway: Focus on the western and eastern channels. Search both levels in both channels. So, western channel level 1 and 2 as well as eastern channel level 1 and 2. After you have searched both channels, continue to Act 3.
Farm route in Act 3
Act 3 – Tower of the Damned: Upon arriving at the first level, you should run around the level. If you are looking for speed, you should teleport to the next waypoint afterward. If you have 1-2 minutes left, you should also head to levels 2 and 3 and search for the coveted goblins there.
Act 3 – Tower of the Cursed: The same principle applies here as in the Tower of the Damned. If you are looking for speed, only search in level 1. If you still have time, also search in level 2.
Act 4 is skipped in this example due to low efficiency – If you are looking for the Falcon Wings, teleport to the Gardens of Hope (Level 1). These wings can be found in a rare chest that spawns randomly. We have more information on how to find these wings in our Diablo 3 Wing Guide.
Farm route in Act 5
Act 5 – Pandemonium Fortress – Level 1: This level has an interesting spawn behavior. If you find a goblin here, you have a particularly high chance of finding a second goblin. So search the entire level and every little corner after the first find.
In The Division , Massive introduces a new community feature: it’s called “Agent Highlights” and rewards creative minds with in-game bonuses.
In Year 2 of The Division, Massive aims to put the community more in the spotlight: Just last week, community developer Hamish Bode mentioned that he could envision incorporating the agent community more into the weekly livestreams and showcasing their works. To this end, a survey went live.
Now comes “Agent Highlights”. This is a regular article series by the developers that aims to celebrate numerous creative community works. With this, they want to give passionate agents the stage they deserve.
Fan creations can come from various domains: whether videos, cosplay, crafts, blog posts, or much more. Just everything that creative minds out there can think of regarding The Division.
Those selected will receive rewards
As an additional incentive, Massive distributes bonuses to players featured in the “Agent Highlights”. Agents can earn 1000 Phoenix Credits. Additionally, there will always be a work that the community team particularly highlights – the “Team’s Favourite”. The one who earns this title will receive a hefty 2000 Phoenix Credits and 800 Premium Credits. Premium Credits are the currency for microtransactions in The Division.
The first winner of the “Team’s Favourite” is the Twitter user Thomas Chekouras. He built a diorama with an agent at a scale of 1:35.
Other submissions valued at 1000 Phoenix Credits by the developers include this cosplay:

What do you do when a million-dollar project just won’t get off the ground? A reboot. We take a look at how this played out for WildStar, The Elder Scrolls Online, Paragon, and other games.
Reboot, relaunch, course correction – no matter how publishers spin it: MMOs often face a severe turning point. The game encounters problems after release, sales stagnate, and all trends point downward – drastic actions must be taken. The game disappears for a few months, then reemerges as a “new, improved, now much better game” and earns serious money. At least, that’s the plan.
It’s often said: This is how we wanted it all along! Now we are here. Have fun!
We analyze games that have undergone such changes and see if the second chance worked.
Final Fantasy XIV – The Rebirth, the wet dream of every flop MMORPG
What was the situation?
Disheartening. Final Fantasy XIV was released in September 2010 and was a flop. The game had been in development since 2005 and was released for PC and PS3.
The overall quality of Final Fantasy XIV was simply too low. Critics praised the world and its potential. But the actual game was poor – that has to be said bluntly. Performance problems. Interface issues. Final Fantasy XIV was called an unfinished, broken disaster.
What happened then?
Square Enix didn’t want to accept that such a game bore the name “Final Fantasy,” so they organized a reboot. They tasked Naoki Yoshida with this, handing him the reins as Director and Producer. The servers of Final Fantasy XIV went offline in November 2012.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was released in August 2013 as a “new version of FF14.” Significant improvements were made compared to the original version. The game was now much more seamless.
How did it turn out?
Very well. Final Fantasy XIV is now considered one of the best MMORPGs ever. It had a successful expansion with Heavensward, and Stormblood is scheduled to launch in June 2017. The MMORPG was also released for the PS4. Globally, it has millions of fans.
All in all, it’s a success story. Yoshida is celebrated as the savior of the game and a hero. Final Fantasy XIV became the “model” for every publisher looking to give their game a second chance. Everyone sitting on a failed expensive online game dreams of a situation like Final Fantasy XIV.
BioWare is working on a new IP. It is reportedly codenamed “Dylan” and is said to be the answer to the MMO shooters Destiny and The Division. This is claimed by a self-proclaimed “industry insider.”
There is something in the air. After the massive success of Destiny and The Division in recent years, other studios are also going to develop MMO shooters. BioWare is considered a major candidate. A team there has been working on a new, unannounced game for four years.
What is known about the project seems to fit a “Destiny and Division competitor.” We reported on this once in early February.
EA’s answer to Destiny and The Division comes from the creators of the “Mass Effect” trilogy
The rumor mill is brewing again. The team that originally worked on the Mass Effect trilogy is said to be developing the answer to the MMO shooters Destiny and The Division for Electronic Arts. This is BioWare Edmonton. They have been working on the new IP for 4 years.
Now there are rumors that the game is supposed to be revealed at E3 2017. That would be in just two months.
The rumors come from Liam “Unseen64” Robertson in a podcast where he talks about BioWare’s new projects. It is said that BioWare Austin is working on a prototype in the direction of “Knights of the Old Republic.” But more on that later.
According to Robertson, the information is “rock solid,” triple confirmed. However, Robertson does not provide sources or exact evidence for his statement. Therefore, the information, like all information from so-called “industry insiders,” should be taken with caution.
These rumors always refer to “contacts” that are not named and therefore cannot be verified.
BioWare Edmonton is working on “Dylan” – it is supposed to be a sci-fi game in the vein of Destiny or The Division. It is to be a kind of “semi-MMO” with co-op. Robertson doesn’t know much more about the game, just that it is supposed to be big, bigger than Mass Effect: Andromeda. Possibly the largest game that BioWare has ever worked on.
“Dylan” is supposed to be revealed at E3 2017 in June. The game is said to be released in 2018. Allegedly, it has been in development for 4 years.
Rumor – Best taken with caution
Mein MMO claims: This is a typical “industry insider” rumor. It confirms what everyone already believes will happen: More games like Destiny and The Division are coming. No crystal ball or insider contacts are needed for this statement.
Therefore, Robertson’s statements sound plausible, and the rumor is credible, even if it is thin. However, it will only be truly confirmed once EA officially announces it.
Be that as it may, it seems that this year’s E3 will be significantly more exciting than in previous years. E3 2017 will take place from June 14 to June 16. We at Mein MMO will report on “Dylan” and all other interesting online games.
The great puzzling in World of Warcraft continues. The mount “Riddler’s Mind Worm” keeps players on their toes!
Since the riddle about Kosumoth and the long-forgotten hippogriffs in World of Warcraft has been solved, fans are eager for a new challenge to tackle. Apparently, with Patch 7.2, such a riddle has made its way into the game, as players are going wild while scouring the entire game world.
The reason for the uproar is the mount “Riddler’s Mind Worm.” This mount is already present in the game data, and the name clearly indicates that it is related to a puzzle.
In response to players asking whether this mount is already available in the game, there was a clear answer: Yes, it can already be obtained.
And it was at that point that the Discord server surrounding the WoW puzzle suddenly became active and began scouring the game world – with initial successes.
The unlocking of the mount apparently occurs through a kind of scavenger hunt. All over the game world, small notes with cryptic clues have been hidden.
The first note with the clue is located in the central inn of Dalaran and provided the rather vague clue “… of sea, spirit, and self…” along with the fact that it is “Page 9.”
For a while, no one found a new clue, but then the breakthrough came from an unexpected source: “Page 9” referred to a real book, namely the Warcraft Chronicles! On page 9, there is an image of the cosmology of Azeroth, which again pointed to a portal to the Emerald Dream – the next note was located at the dream portal in the Duskwood.
Thus, players are slowly working their way through the clues, but an end is not yet in sight. The Discord server that deals with the “Secret Finding” in World of Warcraft has been abuzz ever since. Hundreds of players are gathering clues and ideas as they comb through the entire game world.
WoW developers troll the riddle solvers
The developers of WoW are also on Discord and are watching the whole thing with broad smiles. Jeremy Feasel, better known as “Muffinus” on Twitter, announced with a bit of irony:
“In memory of the Discord poster who suggested the image with the Emerald Dream and cosmology for page 9 – already on the first day at 2:30 AM and was completely ignored XD”
So far, the riddle has not been completely solved, but the team of the “Secret Finding Discord Server” is on the case – it’s only a matter of a few days or hours.
Update 4/12 10:25: The riddle has now been solved, and the first have caught the Mind Worm. Here is everything you need to know to get one too:
