The Un’Goro board of Hearthstone has more to offer than it seems. Even erupting volcanoes are involved!
As with every Hearthstone expansion, “Journey to Un’Goro” also came with its own board. The visuals always match the theme of the expansion – Un’Goro is a wild jungle with a volcano and plenty of strange plants.
However, the boards always have one thing in common: there are numerous hidden things that can be activated. This doesn’t affect gameplay, but it does create visual or auditory effects, such as launched rockets (Goblin vs. Gnome) or creepy eyes (The Old Gods).
However, fans have been disappointed with the board “Journey to Un’Goro” so far. There are too few secrets, and especially the volcano in the top-left corner of the screen is considered boring since it is hardly interactable.
Mike Donais from Blizzard couldn’t let that sit and clarified on Reddit: The volcano can erupt. You just haven’t figured out how exactly that works. When the community doubted this, he added another hint: “You need a sense of music to solve the puzzle.”
In the meantime, some players have accidentally solved the puzzle. To do this, you need to activate the “musical instruments” in the bottom-right in the correct order to trigger the volcano. The correct order is as follows:
Drum
Large Leaf
Shell
Large Leaf
Medium Leaf

The Mage Tower Challenge in WoW was tough. Only less than 1% of the player base managed to complete the difficult quest.
When Patch 7.2 of World of Warcraft was released on the live servers nearly 2 weeks ago, players flocked to the Broken Shore in the hundreds of thousands. All resources of the Legion judges were invested in the construction of the Mage Tower. Because only with an active Mage Tower could players face the class challenge, a particularly difficult quest that unlocks an exclusive skin variant for the artifact weapon.
As Worldowargraphs (via buffed) reports, this challenge was likely too difficult for most players. Overall, only 0.5% of all players at level 110 were able to complete their mission within the first cycle of the tower!
The statistics do not indicate how many players actually attempted it. However, since the first attempt was “free” and was insidiously offered as a “normal quest,” every hero on the Broken Shore likely ran into their death trap at least once.
Mage Tower available again today
Blizzard is receiving both criticism and praise for the quests. Some players enjoy the hardcore difficulty level, while others complain that certain specializations can only complete it with the correct selection of legendary items.
Did you miss it the first time when the challenge was available? Don’t worry, today (04/13/2017) the Mage Tower will be completed again. All interested parties will then have 3 days to take on the challenge again and give up in tears of despair after several hours.
Are you one of the chosen 0.5%? Or have you not even tried the challenge yet?
Black Desert Online is getting a whole host of updates for Easter. These offer you both goose eggs and tulips as well as an awakened Dark Elf for Easter. Additionally, you can see in a new trailer how beautiful the graphic update of BDO is going to be.
Black Desert Online is known for its many events. Even the Irish national holiday Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated in the world of black spirits and donkeys. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Easter is also represented with events.
Moreover, the Awakening of the Dark Blade is coming along with a preview of the new graphics for Black Desert Online.

Black Desert Online – Finding eggs, picking tulips, and awakening Dark Elves
Just in time for the long Easter weekend, the developers from Kakao Games are bringing three events that should keep you in the world of Black Desert Online. On one hand, you can find goose eggs all over the world and deliver them to Valentin in Florin. This can be done once a day and gives you another quest that sends you searching for a golden goose.
Those who don’t like birds and eggs prefer to search for tulips. While these are only for decoration, the blooming flower meadows are a delight even for grim Dark Elves.
Only the awakening makes the Dark Blade even happier, because after she is finally awake, she can – just like all other heroes – bind her awakening weapon, the Vediant.
Black Desert Online – How beautiful it will be!
Black Desert Online is already a beautiful game, but with the announced graphic update, it is going to be even more beautiful. What the new Yebis engine is supposed to deliver, you can see in a new graphic trailer. We have embedded the video here for you. Enjoy!

There is a spring event coming up in The Division. It starts tomorrow, on April 14!
The State of the Game was just on April 13, and even though there was an announcement last week that there would be fewer announcements in the coming weeks, today’s livestream was packed with information. Community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau talked about a spring event, loadouts, and Update 1.6.1.
Spring Event Brings More Rewards
The spring event runs during the Easter holidays in The Division and is divided into two phases:
On April 14 at 10 AM our time, the first phase starts. Every named boss will then drop an extra loot for you for 48 hours if you defeat them – meaning you will receive more loot. Every named boss participates in this event, including those underground, those in the Dark Zone, or the HVTs (High-Value Targets).
On April 16 at 10 AM, the second phase will replace the first phase. From then on, there will be double supply containers for 48 hours. So if you gather enough XP, there won’t just be one crate, but two.
Update 1.6.1 and Loadouts
Additionally, the developers confirmed that the Update 1.6.1 is still planned for May. There will be a PTS phase on PC beforehand, where the changes will be tested.
There was also a surprising announcement today: Loadouts will be available in the game with Update 1.6.1 in May. They were initially planned for Update 1.7, which is set for summer. According to Massive, they can finish and release this long-awaited feature earlier. With loadouts, you can save your builds and switch between them with one click.
There is no specific date yet for 1.6.1 or the public test servers. In addition to loadouts, the update brings numerous bug fixes and balance adjustments, especially for stagger (which will be reduced), for talents, for the seeker mine, as well as “Last Stand” adjustments and innovations. The complete patch notes are still being worked on. For Last Stand, “Proficiency Marks” are set to be introduced. For instance, if you have the best K/D ratio, it will be displayed, and you will receive extra rewards for it. Furthermore, the Dark Zone map will be adjusted.
Are you participating in the spring event in The Division?

The Easter holiday, along with Good Friday and Easter Monday, provides for an especially long weekend! Ideal for extensive gaming! We want to know what you are playing this Easter weekend!
For most of us, the week ends on Thursday, as many employees have four days off over Easter thanks to the holidays of Good Friday and Easter Monday. Students even have Easter break. Perfect for playing a few games and earning some achievements.

Anyone wanting to try a truly good and successful online role-playing game can still play The Elder Scrolls Online for free until April 18. The Buy2Play MMO doesn’t cost subscription fees, but it must be purchased normally. And what better way to play a complex and extensive online role-playing game than with an extra long weekend?
If you’re more into fast action, you can earn new skins, emotes, and intros in Overwatch that came with the “Uprising” event and are only available from April 11 to May 1. So make use of the free Easter time to earn some loot boxes in Blizzard’s hero shooter!
What is the editorial team playing?
We from the Mein-MMO team have a lot planned for the Easter weekend. Read here what is flickering across our screens:
Boss Schuhmann plans to spend most of Easter in Eorzea playing Final Fantasy 14. There are Chocobos instead of Easter bunnies, and maybe this time he will finally be able to prepare all his heroes for Stormblood. Occasionally, our editor-in-chief will also play Hearthstone and try out the new cards from Un’Goro.
Ttime does what a Ttime must do: play Destiny up and down. The Iron Banner and the raid bosses still have loot left that he can’t possibly leave!
Leya also sticks to what she loves most: bringing helpless foes down with Eevie in Paladins and teaching the other immortals the fear in SMITE as the goddess Chang’e!
Patrick has noticed that he hasn’t fully explored Bolivia in Ghost Recon Wildlands yet. Therefore, he absolutely has to catch up on this in GRW Update 3.0 before the new, controversial DLC “Narco Road” is released on Tuesday after Easter. Because no matter if monster trucks fit into a Tom Clancy game or not, the DLC will definitely be played! Once Bolivia is secured, Patrick has to grind again for the Lord of Hell in Diablo 3. And he still wants to grab the new skins in Overwatch. Will he manage all this in four days?
And what is Cortyn playing? Nothing, as she has visitors over Easter and won’t be able to game!
What about me, Jürgen? I’m also planning to play Overwatch, as I want to try the new PvE mode and grab a few crates. But I also look forward to the opportunity to continue playing Mass Effect: Andromeda and I actually need to take down a few Santa Blanca thugs in Bolivia. Four days off are never enough!
But enough about us and our leisure stress! What do you have planned? Do you also want to earn loot in Overwatch? Are you heading to Tamriel in ESO? Do you still have a score to settle with Oryx and Co. in Destiny? Or are you doing something completely different in the end? Let us know in the comments!

In the survival MMO Conan Exiles, there is a first major dungeon called “The Dregs” with a boss and loot. Read here where to find the entrance to the instance and what to expect there.
Deep beneath the nameless city in the wasteland lies the sewer, where eerie experiments from ancient times were disposed of. But there are also some valuable items hidden there.
How to find the dungeon, what equipment you should pack, and how to fight the boss, you will find out here.
Conan Exiles – The Dregs – Where is the entrance to the dungeon?
To find the dungeon, you don’t need to explore the nameless city extensively. Rather, the entrance to the sewers is located near the starting area. Just follow the river to the south until the end by the cliffs. There you will find some Dafari cannibals.
You should lure one of them to the entrance of the dungeon and kill it. The blood of the dead one will open the entrance to the dungeon. Alternatively, you can also slay one of your slaves there to get the necessary blood.
Conan Exiles – The Dregs – What can I expect?
You should only attempt the dungeon alone starting from level 30. Otherwise, you should have a group with you between levels 10 and 20. The most dangerous enemies in the sewers are crocodiles, which you should only fight one at a time. Skeletons, on the other hand, are less challenging.
In addition to enemies, you can also expect puzzles. These are bronze discs that you must shoot with arrows, for example, to flood areas and make them more accessible. So make sure to pack a bow!
Conan Exiles – The Dregs – The Serpent Boss and its loot
At the end of the dungeon, you will encounter a disgusting giant serpent that resides in a pool. The creature can attack in four ways:
At close range, you can best block melee attacks with a shield.
At long range, the serpent spits poison that you can easily dodge.
At medium range, the acid spray attack of the serpent is particularly nasty, as it can kill you quickly. Make sure to get out of range in time.
At close range, the serpent occasionally makes a charge attack. If you dodge this, it will lie stunned for a while and can be hit hard.

The affixes in “Mythic+” dungeons of World of Warcraft often cause chaos. We explain all the mechanics – including the affixes in patch 7.2!
Update: This list has been updated with the affixes from patch 7.2.
Those who tackle more than just regular dungeons in World of Warcraft: Legion will encounter unique challenges in the higher “Mythic+” instances that complicate their dungeon visits. These special conditions, referred to as “affixes”, occur at a difficulty level of “Mythic+4”.
From level 7, a second affix becomes active and from level 10, even a third. All 3 affixes at the same time often cause significantly more chaos than what is already present in a challenging instance.
WoW: All Affixes of the Mythic+ Dungeons
We have a small list of all affixes for you, explaining each condition and indicating when they can occur:
Challenging (from level 4): When trash mobs are defeated, their death cries empower other nearby enemies, increasing their maximum health and damage dealt by 20%. This only affects enemies already in combat with you and cannot affect bosses.
Quaking: Player characters periodically emit a shockwave that deals damage to other players and interrupts their spells.
Bleeding (from level 4): Upon death, trash mobs leave behind a pool of blood. Enemies in the pool are healed every second, while players take significant damage. The pools remain for a long time.
Explosive: Enemies in combat periodically summon explosive orbs. The orbs explode for heavy damage if not quickly destroyed.
Quirky (from level 7): Tanks generate significantly less threat, causing enemies to sometimes switch targets and attack the group’s softer targets.
Nekrotic (from level 7): Melee attacks from trash mobs generate a stackable debuff that reduces healing received and causes periodic damage.
Bursting: When normal enemies die, they explode, dealing damage equal to 10% of the player’s maximum health over 4 seconds. This effect is stackable.
Terrifying: If players fall below 90% health, they take damage every second until they are healed above 90%.
Tyrannical (from level 10): Bosses have 40% more health and deal 20% more damage.
Excessive (from level 7): Overhealing is converted into a debuff that absorbs healing received.
Unyielding: Normal enemies temporarily become immune to control effects.
Augmented (from level 10): Trash mobs have 20% more health and deal 40% more damage.
Volcanic (from level 7): As long as players are in combat, small volcanoes appear under ranged attackers every few seconds, exploding after a short period and dealing heavy damage.
Swarming (from level 4): There are significantly more trash mobs in the dungeon. The required number of trash mobs for successfully completing the instance is correspondingly increased.
Enraged (from level 4): Trash mobs go into a frenzy at 30% health, increasing their damage dealt by 100% until they die.
The affixes are cumulative to the additional strength that enemies already have in the “Mythic+” dungeons.
In the future, developers are considering further affixes to bring even more variety and fear into the hearts of players. Which affixes do you find particularly easy and which do you find extremely annoying?
The third ban wave in Pokémon GO has started and is now targeting many cheaters in the game. Niantic’s fight against cheaters continues!
Cheaters in Pokémon GO, known as cheaters, have long been a thorn in the side of the community and are particularly unpopular with many trainers. They gain advantages over “fair” trainers through websites, apps, and software.
The developers behind Pokémon GO do not tolerate these hackers and seem to have taken another important step in the fight against cheaters and hackers. As reported by PokémonGOHub, the third major ban wave has just started.
Cheaters complain
In relevant bot and cheat forums, complaints have been piling up in recent days that many Pokémon GO accounts with active bots have been banned. One user writes in the forum, “I had 15 accounts banned from level 24 to 33.” A short time later, he replies in the same forum that another 5 accounts of his have been banned.
Also, in the last few hours, users wrote in the forum that their accounts have been banned. This suggests that this ban wave is still active. It is already the third this year.
1. Ban wave from 20.01 to 24.01
2. Ban wave from 2.03 to 4.03
3. Ban wave from 11.04 – Still active
According to reports on social networks and in the mentioned cheat forums, it is assumed that this wave is primarily focused on bot accounts. These are often used for live maps, leveling accounts, and other fraudulent activities.
In addition, some players who have been reported by the community are said to be affected. One trainer reports that a bot account that regularly occupied gyms has not been found in the game for several days. The trainer had reported the suspicious account to Niantic. So it really helps if you report other accounts.
Some players who used Pokémon GO GPS spoofing are also said to be affected. These “players” use GPS software to fake a different location in the game. As a result, they reach PokéStops, monsters, and gyms that are actually not in the player’s immediate vicinity.
For the fair players among you, this means that the chances of gyms have significantly increased and perhaps some cheaters in your area have been banned. Although Niantic has not yet made an official statement on this, the posts in various cheat forums clearly show that the developers are currently taking strong action against cheaters.
With the freshly released update 2.3, the long-awaited multi-crew feature has now been introduced into the space online game Elite Dangerous, allowing you to cooperatively pilot large spacecraft.
Similar to what is also planned in Star Citizen, you crew large spacecraft in Elite: Dangerous with friends, where everyone has their own role to fulfill. Teamplay becomes even more important as a result.
Since it is now possible to see each other in these ships, you can now give your hero a face. The Holo-Me tool was previously only available in a beta version and is now officially released. Through this character editor, you create your own commander with a unique appearance, just like in a role-playing game.
Many new features and improvements
Additionally, it is possible to give your ship a name and a nameplate. With new camera options, you can view the spaceship and your commander from various angles. New ships and asteroid bases are also part of the major update, along with bug fixes and stability improvements.
Two threats
Furthermore, mysterious content is making its way into the space game, which the developers do not want to talk about. The community is already speculating that this content could be related to the aliens that are currently causing trouble in the galaxy. But these aliens are not the only threat, as the Empire and the Federation face a larger conflict. The emergence of giant alien ships certainly doesn’t fit well into the picture…
All players of the space online game Elite Dangerous can directly download update 2.3 and check out the new features and additional content.

In the new Overwatch patch 2.09, there are issues that have caused some game modes to be disabled. A solution is already being worked on.
The recently released patch 2.09 for Blizzard’s shooter Overwatch not only activated the new Uprising event, but also had a few undiscovered problems. Due to these issues, the developers have now been forced to disable several game modes on PC, PS4, and Xbox One until a solution is found .
Overwatch game modes disabled
In the official Overwatch forum, community manager Lylirra states that there are technical issues with the latest patch 2.09. The difficulties affect the platforms PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For this reason, the following features have been immediately disabled on all platforms:
Custom Game Saves
3v3 Elimination
6v6 Capture the Flag
Leaderboards
There is currently no estimated date for when the errors will be fixed and the features reactivated. Additionally, it is still unclear what the error was that caused the deactivation. As soon as there are updates on this matter, we will update this article and inform you.
Until these modes are working again, you can try out the new PvE mode or pass the time with the patch notes for update 2.09.
Update: The game modes have since been reactivated.
Custom Game saves, Leaderboards, 3v3 Elimination, and 6v6 Capture the Flag have been reenabled on all platforms.
The new PvE mode “Uprising” in Overwatch excites players. But what makes the co-op mission so good?
With the patch 1.10/2.09, Overwatch has received a new, temporary game mode. Normally, Overwatch is all about intense PvP action, but during the “Uprising” event, players can dive into a PvE mission on the map King’s Row.
As Reinhardt, Mercy, Torbjörn, and Tracer, they carry out a mission in the service of Overwatch, while receiving instructions from Jack Morrison, Ana Amari, and Gabriel Reyes.

Each round proceeds linearly: First, 3 control points must be hacked, then a payload must be protected and subsequently escorted. In the final phase, 4 specific enemies must be eliminated under time pressure. All of this happens while countless Omnics rain down from the sky, attacking players and the payload, jeopardizing the mission objective.
According to the first reactions on Reddit and in the official forum, players are very pleased with the mode. Especially the four different difficulty levels (with the last one being nearly impossibly hard) and the option to lead other heroes (without story) into battle is appreciated. Those who like it exciting can simply choose not to bring a healer.
What do you think of the Uprising game mode? Do you enjoy the PvP action or is it not for you?
Cortyn says: The game mode “Uprising” impressively shows what Overwatch could be if it were turned into a co-op PvE shooter or if more such modes were offered in the future. However, I must honestly say that after 2 or 3 matches, the excitement wears off. You can quite accurately predict when and where the enemies will appear. Occasionally, enemies even pop up right in the line of sight – that’s annoying and reduces immersion. However, those who wanted story and just want to “together” experience a little adventure in the Overwatch universe are likely to have a lot of fun destroying the Omnic threat on King’s Row.
For a game mode that is simply offered as part of a free update, Uprising is more than players could have ever expected. However, this sets a very high bar for upcoming patches and events. Let’s just hope that there will eventually be an Overwatch shooter with a proper campaign.
Paladins (PC, PS4, Xbox One) keeps our author Leya engaged. In a review, she takes a closer look at the “free Overwatch”.
I have been playing Paladins for a few months now and am still having a great time. However, there are a few things I would wish for in the future.
When I jumped into Paladins, I didn’t know much about this hero shooter. I had only heard that it is supposed to be the “Overwatch for the poor.” I have played Overwatch for countless hours and assumed that Paladins would meet my tastes.
Overwatch has been put aside, and Paladins has become an addiction. What is the reason for that?

Experimenting with the deck build is the heart of Paladins
As a big MOBA fan, I find exactly what makes the game so appealing to me in Paladins. The card system offers me many strategic choices. I can significantly customize the same character through my deck building and adapt it to the specific match. I am free to choose how I want to play my champion and role.
In Paladins, there is no classic support character that runs after their team with a healing beam. Healing supports can quickly become damage supports with the right items. Flankers become damage dealers and vice versa. Should I enhance my tank’s shields or rather go on the offensive? The decision is left to me through the cards.
Always the same inner struggle with Pip: Flank or support? Source: https://i.redd.it/5iobwxfgpxqy.png
This flexibility and the rediscovery of champions – depending on the build – makes Paladins a constant favorite for me. There is always enough to experiment with over the long term.
The champions are strong characters, even without lore
I love the champions of Paladins. At first, I thought they were very similar to those in Overwatch. But that’s not the case at all. The heroes play differently and have different personalities. Although there is still no great lore, the champions have strong character. Just through their voice lines and appearances, they manage to captivate me.
An example: The Bomb King is always cheerful and spreads good vibes. Sometimes he tells me laughing that he wants to make a bomb out of my head. Suddenly, his bombs with cute faces look very different.
After half a year of Paladins, I still want more and am not yet tired of this action MOBA. However, I do have a few wishes for the future.
At the moment, Paladins is still full of bugs, and with each patch, new ones come up again. Additionally, the servers often suffer from severe hiccups. Paladins is still in beta, which is why I overlook these issues.
Paladins offersfew maps. Here, the pace of new content is restrained. More variety in the maps would create more depth in gameplay. It becomes monotonous playing on the same maps after a while. There is definitely a need for improvement here.
Paladins is F2P and fans of casual shooters definitely won’t make a mistake giving Paladins a try. However, one must be able to accept that Paladins still suffers from hiccups here and there and is not polished down to the smallest detail. After all, it is still in beta.
Paladins is referred to as “Overwatch for the poor” but is rich in MOBA elements, strategic decisions, and quirky characters.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has finally been completed and the final quests are done. How our final verdict on the game is, you can find out here.
Although we already published a very detailed text about Mass Effect: Andromeda a few weeks ago, I had not completed the storyline of the game by then.
In the meantime, that has changed and I can now give a final overall impression of the game. My counter for the completion of the game stands at 96%, the only thing that seems to be missing are some of the “small” side missions, two of which I can’t complete and the other is of the type “Search the entire field without interface hints” – so they can be neglected.
How does Mass Effect: Andromeda fare as a complete work compared to the other titles in the series?
The developers have definitely learned from the controversy surrounding the ending of Mass Effect 3. Andromeda leaves little doubt about the outcome of the game and there probably won’t be any major conspiracy theories (like the indoctrination theory surrounding Commander Shepard).
The effects of the choices made throughout the story are largely addressed in the final mission. While they are often just brief appearances or single sentences from rescued NPCs, there is indeed a feeling that other decisions could have led some NPCs to abandon us.
What Mass Effect: Andromeda definitely lacks are memorable big boss fights. The battles against the architects are indeed grand, but all other “bosses” are rather boring. Especially the final battle was more annoying than challenging, which leaves a somewhat bland taste at the end.
But where Andromeda lacks in large, epic moments, it makes up for with small, thoughtful moments. When Ryder sits on the floor with Jaal in his room to look at a star map or when you climb a giant mountain with Vetra to enjoy the view – those are great images that stick in your mind. And krogan bar brawls are also not easily forgotten.
One last criticism is that the choices made during the game do not have much of an impact (apart from the final mission). It feels as if they want to prepare for a sequel here, and the effects of the choices will only be felt in the next installment of the series – just like it was the case with Mass Effect 1.
Final verdict: Mass Effect: Andromeda is an all-around solid action RPG and a worthy representative of the “Mass Effect” series. While the game lacks truly grand and memorable highlights in the story, there are always small, beautiful moments to be found. They may not have the impressiveness of a discovery like in the original trilogy, but they ensure that it remains exciting all the time.
I would still recommend the game to any fan of the series.
Skyforge, the sci-fi action MMO from My.com, has released on PlayStation 4 and is now live. You can now play the game for free without founder packs, and there’s a new trailer as well.
Online role-playing games are still common on PC and struggle to compete with the dominant World of Warcraft. However, MMORPGs on PlayStation 4 are still scarce and only work if they are somewhat dynamic and focus on action-packed gameplay.
Such a game is Skyforge, which struggled to find its place in the saturated PC market but now has good chances of success as a recently released PS4 title with a free-to-play model.
Skyforge – A Hell of a Fun with Gods!
Skyforge is a rather unusual MMORPG, as you don’t play elves or dwarves in a fantasy world but an immortal god in a futuristic setting. Your world Aelion is a paradise in a universe full of envious disgusting aliens attacking your planet in droves from space.
Therefore, in Skyforge, you do nothing else but regularly beat up this space scum together with other gods when they set their dirty paws on the blooming meadows of Aelion. Since you are a god, you are more than just a class; you can constantly switch your archetype as long as you have unlocked the others of the total of 14 classes.
Skyforge – From PC to Console
The hunt for new classes and abilities is an important gameplay aspect of Skyforge. Every class plays differently; the Berserker swings a kind of chainsaw sword, the Gunner shoots with a big gun, and the Cryomancer freezes his enemies.
The gamepad controls well convey the fast-paced action combat system and are on par with the PC version. This also applies to the content, which is expected to be on the same level as the PC version shortly after release. Skyforge is also available on the console as a free-to-play game.
By the way, there’s a new trailer for the launch of Skyforge on PlayStation 4 that showcases what a hero in Skyforge can be. Namely, everything!

They are collaborating worldwide with talented voice actors. New content is constantly coming in that needs to be voiced. There can be difficulties in collaboration because the voices are not always available or other problems arise.
If that happens, they replace the voice with another one and completely revoice the character to maintain consistency. This is supposed to happen now with Pharah.

The German voice of Pharah in Overwatch was previously voiced by the actress Ghadah Al-Akel. She has been known as the German voice for actresses Jennifer Lopez and Michelle Rodriguez in the past. Her voice is recognized from film and television (Grey’s Anatomy, Navy CIS).
Al-Akel was beloved by fans as “Pharah” in Overwatch. Since the latest patch, she is voiced by someone else. Overwatch players immediately noticed this when the patch went live on Tuesday evening. Some expressed their displeasure in German Facebook groups.
Then something strange happened. Players posted in the actress’s guestbook saying: “It’s a shame that you no longer voice Pharah. Your work was great.”

Actress Was Not Informed, Considers It Disrespectful
Thereafter, the actress published a statement in her guestbook. She only learned of the recasting of Pharah through comments and messages.
Al-Akel says she was not informed about this. She would have liked to continue voicing Pharah. There was no conflict:
It was neither due to the fee, the collaboration nor to my availability concerning the voice recordings!!
She considers the recasting a “disrespect” towards herself and the fans. The statement from Blizzard surprises her.
We have inquired with Blizzard and will inform you when a statement regarding this matter comes in.
A famous recasting in the English original was the ghost in Destiny. It was said that there were “availability reasons” behind it, as Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage reportedly no longer had time for video game jobs:
Patch 7.2.5 for WoW brings the Black Temple up to date. Moreover, there is finally a sort of “dance studio”, albeit as an event – it only took 10 years.
Although update 7.2 of World of Warcraft has only been active on the live servers for a few weeks, the developers at Blizzard are already working hard on future content. The first details of patch 7.2.5 have now been introduced in the official forum.
Patch 7.2.5 is again a “small” patch that contains hardly any new content – such as new zones or raids – but does bring many improvements and small things that make everyday life in Azeroth more pleasant.
The biggest highlight is likely to be the Black Temple. This raid was originally designed for level 70 players and had Illidan Stormrage as the final boss. With patch 7.2.5, the Black Temple will receive a Timewalking version! The exact difficulty level and whether players can join through the Group Finder is still unknown. For nostalgia’s sake, here’s the trailer from long-forgotten times:

However, there are a few fresh content updates. An “epic questline” centered around Chromie is being implemented in the game. Chromie is a bronze dragon that usually appears in the form of a female gnome and interacts with players. When Chromie is involved in an issue, it’s certain that some timeline has gone awry or a strange paradox has emerged.
Micro-holidays bring the “dance studio” – at least in the auction house
The concept of micro-holidays is being further developed, and the events are getting even more absurd than before.
In the Trial of Style, multiple players enter a scenario and must adjust their outfits at the hairdresser to match a specific theme. Afterwards, all players can vote for the best set.
Not much is known about the Auction House Dance Party. Presumably, all heroes within the auction houses will be celebrating – here’s to the next million through speculation.
The Moonkin Festival is likely to be druidic in nature, but there is still no concrete information.
Furthermore, additional items have been found in the game data that might make it into the patch but have not yet been confirmed.
King Magni wants something from the players – are the old gods stirring in Azeroth again?
There is said to be a new questline with King Magni, who asks players for help in the Sholazar Basin – an important location for the creation of the Titans. This could already be the first hint at a potential addon after Legion. Many players suspect that something terrible is happening with Azeroth while the heroes in patch 7.3 are fighting on Argus.
Oh, and Pet Battle Dungeons for Gnomeregan and the Deadmines are also in the game data – that should please all pet collectors.
