It was announced at short notice in the last State of the Game: The Spring event, now called “Easter Double Event”. While there is still snow in post-apocalyptic New York, spring has arrived in the real world, which Massive wants to celebrate in the coming days.
Here is the schedule and the phases of this event:
From April 14 at 10 AM to April 16 at 10 AM, most named enemies in the game will drop Extra Loot when you defeat them.
From April 16 at 10 AM to April 18 at 10 AM, you will receive double supply crates. So when you fill the XP bar, there will be not just one crate, but two.
The Spring Sale is running – Discounts on Premium Items
Since April 13, a Spring Sale has been underway at the premium vendor. The premium vendor is the well-signposted NPC in the terminal, where you can purchase cosmetic items with real money.
During the sale, there are discounts on several items, such as weapon skins, backpack skins, emotes, and outfit bundles – up to 75% off. The Spring Sale runs until April 20.

Such events with double rewards were already tested in the public test servers for Update 1.4 back in Autumn 2016. However, it took months for them to be implemented in the game. Just over a month ago, such “Year 1” celebration events took place, where there were double rewards for HVTs and – as this time – double supply crates as well. Such events will likely happen more frequently now.
WildStar recently lost a larger number of players. The reason: Massive exploits of premium currency and experience points that led to permanent bans. But can a game with such a small player base afford to impose such bans?
WildStar has long since ceased to have impressive player numbers, but a hardcore group of determined fans continues to play Carbine’s colorful online role-playing game. This hardcore group has now reportedly shrunk noticeably, as according to statements in the forum and on Reddit, Carbine has permanently banned numerous players due to exploits.
But can a small game like WildStar afford to ban so many players?
WildStar – The ban hammer is circling!
The exploits that led to the ban of some WildStar players were not exactly harmless:
One could passively participate in events in Arkterra and thus farm massive amounts of experience, ultimately rendering the new Urmatrix progression system absurd.
An exploit allowed one to easily farm OmniBits, a real money substitute currency, on the test server and then transfer them to the live server.
Both exploits have now been closed, and Carbine has reportedly banned quite a few people who exploited these bugs, according to some statements in the official forum and on Reddit. It seems that especially loyal long-term players were affected, some of whom “just wanted to test” if the exploits really worked so easily.
How thoroughly Carbine is proceeding with the ban wave is evidenced by the case of a player who was banned even though he has not played WildStar for a year. However, there was no hacked account, his transgression likely occurred a year ago and has now been punished.
WildStar – Exploit bans – Is WildStar destroying itself?
In the forum, some players express concern about the ban wave. WildStar already has so few players, must it be so strict? Other users, especially on Reddit, see no reason for mercy: Those who cheat get banned, simple as that!
It also seems that the number of banned accounts is by no means as high as some users claim in the forum, others believe. Some even openly admit: “We were tired of the grind, so we deliberately exploited the bug!”
WildStar – Double XP on Easter weekend without exploit!
Anyone who wants to level up quickly without grinding and exploiting can earn double the amount of experience points from April 14 to April 17. This boost is cumulative with any existing boosts, such as from a premium membership with WildStar.
If you like gambling and have too many Nether Shards, you can now spend them in WoW. Pets, toys, or hundreds of thousands of Nether Shards are waiting.
In recent days, individual quests have been unlocked on the Broken Shore of World of Warcraft. You had to help a goblin lady find a great treasure of the Legion. Note that it doesn’t matter which “type” of chest you open. Although there are many variations of chests, the content of each chest is determined randomly.
If you hit the jackpot and snag a large amount of Nether Shards, you can buy a potion from Iks’reeged for 50,000 shards that transforms the player into a Wyrm Tongue. Or save the shards for equipment at the usual Nether Shard vendor.

It seems that there will be no Easter event in ARK Survival Evolved. However, it is not completely ruled out.
Update: There will indeed be an Easter event. The head developer of ARK, Jeremy Stieglitz, announced this on Twitter last night. The event is supposed to start “today”, so between Friday noon and Saturday morning. However, this only applies to PC. For PS4 and Xbox One, the Easter event for ARK will come with the next patch. Currently, 1.18 is scheduled for April 24. Players on PS4 and Xbox One will therefore celebrate Easter in ARK with a significant delay.

Recently, questions about an Easter event have frequently arisen in the ARK community. The survival game with the dinos is perfect for this. After all, the dinosaur eggs play a big role in ARK. Wildcard lacks the time for an event this year

At Destiny, Bungie is working on update 2.6.0.2. This will bring “Quality of Life” improvements and bug fixes.
