For Black Desert , a new class called Striker has recently been announced. In Korea, the martial arts fighter will be available soon, and players of the Korean version can already create a Striker in advance in the character editor. See here what is possible.
Black Desert Online has the most beautiful, powerful, and detailed character editor ever seen in an online role-playing game. Every class has its own look and is determined by race and gender, but with enough time and effort, numerous cool heroes can be created.
Since character creation can take quite a bit of time due to the complex editor, players may already create their personal Kung Fu master in advance before the release of the new Striker class in Korea.
Black Desert Online – Striker – Fighting K-Pop Star?
Each class in Black Desert Online has a roughly defined look. The warrior is a rugged, masculine knight archetype, the Valkyrie is delicate, the witch is cute, and the wizard has long been a Gandalf-like character. The new hero Striker, on the other hand, resembles a K-Pop star in his standard appearance with his blonde, styled hair.
https://youtu.be/DAuEEK24DCs
If this look does not suit you, you can certainly change it completely, for example by shaving the hairstyle and sending the Striker into battle as a classic Kung Fu monk. Or you can give the Striker a casual long-haired hairstyle. With the theme of the young wild one, you can realize many ideas.
Black Desert Online – The Striker in the Trailer
The Striker not only looks good, but also carries his martial name justly. With light armor and armored fists, he strikes hard and can especially give a hard time to individual opponents.
The most important skills of the new Striker class have already been described in another article. However, to see how these look in action, a new trailer showcases it. We have embedded the video here for you. Enjoy!

The Striker will first be released only in Korea on April 20th. A release date for the western version is not yet known, but it should not take too long.
Is Massive really planning a The Division 2 or a big expansion? Why isn’t the shooter being developed further?
It’s quite puzzling. Massive has launched a million-dollar franchise for Ubisoft, created an MMO shooter in the wake of Destiny that has broken a ton of records and made a ridiculous amount of money. Then they developed the project for over a year with DLCs, kept it somewhat on track with updates and patches, and now we hear nothing from Malmö.
The fans had already grabbed their pitchforks and lit the torches when they learned about the Year 2 plans for The Division or rather when they learned nothing about them, as there were obviously no plans for a Year 2 in The Division.
The torches are now extinguished. Anger and frustration have been replaced by a certain wonder: How things are really going to proceed with “The Division” is not known to anyone outside of Ubisoft and Massive.
But it can’t seriously be that the studio is actually giving up “The Division” as a franchise after such a successful start to work on an “Avatar Project,” can it?
Massive Malmö is looking for 40 new employees
Massive has definitely not given up the “The Division” franchise. The location “Malmö” is more important than ever. After all, “The Avatar Project” is supposed to be developed here along with “The Division,” the next million-dollar franchise from Ubisoft.
There’s no news about large-scale layoffs. You usually hear about those when online games are being shut down. Only after the project’s release have some key figures publicly departed.
The horror scenario of “The Division” fans: Ubisoft has pulled the entire “The Division” team to work on the “Avatar Project.” But that seems far-fetched. Ubisoft has invested too much in “The Division,” and the franchise is too successful for that.
Moreover, some jobs are specifically advertised for “The Division.”
Currently, there are only two scenarios for the future of “The Division” that seem sensible: In both, The Division follows its “model” in terms of business model, Destiny.
We think Massive in Malmö is currently working on The Division:
either on a big expansion like “The Taken King,” but they’re not ready to reveal it yet
or they skip the step altogether and really go all out with “The Division 2”
Obviously, The Division is not planning any “small DLC” for €15 like in year 1 next. Because those would have been announced by now.
Massive is either planning a big expansion or a full-priced sequel. Both still seem to be a while away, otherwise, it would have been announced by now. Perhaps we will hear more at E3.
The “current” gap can be explained by the fact that Ubisoft has changed plans at short notice. Maybe “The Division 2” was indeed once planned, but now they have decided to release an expansion instead.
As evidence, a nebulous statement from the financial report in February can be cited. Ubisoft stated that they would prefer to continue developing a project rather than release a sequel for the franchise as initially planned. So far, it’s unknown which franchise from Ubisoft the statement is aimed at, but it is quite conceivable that it was referring to The Division.
An expansion would likely be well received – not The Division 2
Well, the situation for The Division isn’t good. The mood among fans remains angry and upset, as they would have expected more from the online shooter than a long pause.
If Ubisoft were to announce a “The Division 2” now, they would certainly have to face some criticism for not having done more with the first part. That wouldn’t be a good starting point for a new game. A “big expansion,” on the other hand, would have better chances.
What do you think?

The online shooter Destiny is a game where you fight aliens for three years and at the end, you get a T-shirt. Today, there are new aliens at the Weekly Reset on April 18th.
The fourth week of the Age of Triumph has begun. The first two weeks were really exciting, as there were 390 light versions of the ancient raids Crota’s End and the Vault of Glass. This week, the current raid “Wrath of the Machine” is on, which is being warmed up again, even though it is still quite warm. A bit like reheating fresh rolls, but well. Everything should be in order.
This means: You can loot exotic adept weapons from the Wrath of the Machine raid – primary weapons with elemental damage. Bungie has now allowed the legendary primary weapons in the raid to have elemental damage in their exotic versions. Originally, there were no primary weapons with elemental damage in “Wrath of the Machine”.
Fresh ornaments are definitely included. You have the chance to look even prettier today, before everything starts over again with Destiny 2. The armor ornaments in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid have this look:
Additionally, the April Iron Banner in Destiny ends with the Weekly Reset.
Modifiers in the Nightfall “Shield Brothers” in Destiny are:
Epic
Voidburn
Brawler
Grounded
Ironclad
The enemies have shields. Guardians have increased melee damage, and Void deals more damage than usual. Guardians should also stay on the ground.
The weekly Heroic strike is the “Siva Crisis” with the modifiers: Heroic, Specialist, Juggler, Airborne.
Challenge of Elders and Story Playlist
In the Challenge of Elders, there are bonus points for precision kills. Guardians deal more damage when they are in the air as well. The enemies have the Berserker modifier, meaning they do not back down.
In the story playlist, the “War of the Taken.” There is no radar, and special weapons deal more damage than usual.
The raid challenges starting April 18th – Vosik, Aksis Challenge
In Wrath of the Machine, there are two challenges (challenges). You can read about how they work in these articles:
For premium pass users, the Narco Road DLC for Ghost Recon Wildlands is already unlocked today. New content such as weapons and races are awaiting you. When will the DLC be released?
The first official expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands is being released today. It is called Narco Road and can be played by premium pass holders already today, a week before the actual release.
The release of the Wildlands expansion is again occurring in two phases. Apparently, console players already have access to the expansion.
Narco Road – Release Xbox One, PS4, PC
The release of the Narco Road DLC in Ghost Recon Wildlands is planned for today. According to a forum post, the DLC will be activated in two steps, similar to the last Wildlands patch 3.0. First access is reportedly already available for players on PS4 and Xbox One, while PC players will have to wait until this evening.
Release: In the forum, the Ubisoft community team writes that the Narco Road DLC should be available on PS4 and Xbox One since midnight.PC players have to wait until 9:00 PM today to be able to play the expansion.
However, there are already reports on social media from players who supposedly have already accessed the DLC content on PC. We have not been able to confirm this report yet and are waiting for further messages from the community and Ubisoft. The release date for players without a premium pass is next Tuesday, April 25.
Wildlands DLC – Narco Road Content
The Narco Road DLC is controversial among Ghost Recon Wildlands fans as it brings content like monster trucks or races into a game that is primarily a tactical shooter. On the other hand, there are also 15 new story missions, new side missions, nine new weapons, and new outfits. So players have other reasons besides the racing content to play the DLC.
The tamable Fenryr in World of Warcraft is causing problems. Some players have received him “incorrectly” – but Blizzard shows mercy.
Hunters in World of Warcraft are always looking for a very special companion that makes them stand out from the crowd of hunter players. With patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras,” some new wildlife was implemented in the game that hunters can tame. One of them is Fenryr, an instance boss from the Hall of Valor.
Many players already discovered that Fenryr was tamable in the first days and made the beast their own. This was possible on the mythic difficulty. A dungeon group cleared the entire instance, and the hunter then reset it, causing Fenryr to appear again. Taming thus became child’s play, and many players now roam with the noble wolf as their pet.
Instance reset for Fenryr was a bug
But that was not the plan from Blizzard. The actual challenge was to have hunters complete the instance on mythic solo all the way to Fenryr. However, the bug has since been fixed.
Since players could not foresee that this was a bug, Blizzard decided not to take Fenryr away from the corresponding characters. However, those who want to tame him now must fight their way to Fenryr’s den – only with a pet of their choice – and can then impose their will on him there. Blizzard stated in the official forum:
“To clarify: The soft reset was a bug that has now been fixed, and the intended method for taming Fenryr is a solo challenge. It would be unfair to take Fenryr away from those players who already have him, especially since the early tamers could not know that this method was not intended.”
No one has committed a crime regarding bug using, even if it was a bug – everyone can keep their Fenryr without bad conscience.
Fans of Mei rejoice, because in Overwatch she is finally once again the queen of the ice beam. A miserable bug has been fixed. We have evaluated the patch notes.
With the last major update of Overwatch, there was not only the new event “Uprising” in Blizzard’s hero shooter, but also some annoying bugs. In the late evening hours, Blizzard yesterday, on 17.04.2017, released a small patch that fixes the most annoying bugs and removes issues with the Uprising game mode.
Especially fans of Mei should be happy, because one of her most annoying bugs has been fixed.
Since the last update, Mei’s primary fire, the Endothermic Beam (“Snow Beam”), and her ultimate have not slowed many hit enemies anymore. This made both abilities essentially useless, as without the built-in slow, it was nearly impossible to freeze enemies and then take them down with a precise shot.
This bug has now been fixed, and once again all hit enemies are first slowed down and then frozen when the beam remains focused on the opponent.
Many Bug Fixes
Additionally, all players now receive the player icon (if they log in during the event) after logging into Overwatch. This is possible until May 1st.
Furthermore, the patch fixes numerous bugs in the “Uprising” game mode. For instance, opponents now always spawn during the “Payload” phase, which could previously be prevented by cleverly positioning the heroes. Additionally, the game mode now tracks the times of Sombra’s hacks, the performance of Ana’s healing, and D.Va’s enemy eliminations.
The majority of other issues are merely cosmetic in nature, such as clippings of capes by the character or incorrectly rendered ice on Pharah’s “Frostbite” skin.
You can find the complete patch notes in the original English in our sources.
Good players in Overwatch time their own cooldowns precisely. Professionals time the cooldowns of their opponents.
Every week, absurd, exciting, or simply funny moments happen in Overwatch that are often captured in a “Play of the Game.” We have searched social media and picked three special highlights for you. Enjoy our 3 “Play of the Game” moments of the week.
Every Reinhardt player probably knows this moment: the ult is ready, and you just wait for the golden moment to slam the entire enemy team to the ground with the hammer. But like so many before and after him, Jheuloh messed up the hammer strike and hit the shield of another Reinhardt. But how does one make up for this mistake? By simply getting a 4-fold kill afterward. Nothing easier than that.

Strategy and planning are the keys to success in Overwatch. But how can one plan the enemy resurrection by Mercy if you can’t start it before reaching the battlefield? About as Phluffy shows with D.Va. Thanks to Widowmaker’s extended vision, he can see Mercy approaching in advance and activates his mech just before the resurrection. What could have quickly become a game-changer is thus truly nipped in the bud.

The best “Play of the Game” moments don’t happen when you act perfectly yourself, but when the opponents make a crucial mistake. This was also the case for Winstony, who just wanted to stall time as Pharah on Ilios and was flying around the control point. Arrogant as the enemy team was, they wanted to bring the flying Egyptian down from the sky – a stupid idea.

The story of Star Wars Battlefront II is told from the perspective of the allegedly “evil”. We serve the Empire. Here are the first details about the story campaign of the new online shooter.
The campaign of Star Wars Battlefront II starts with the destruction of the second Death Star: the triumph of the Rebels. In the Star Wars movies, we experience this as a great triumph, while Star Wars Battlefront II tells it as a tragedy. For we serve the Emperor loyally.
Iden Versio believes in the Empire and the Emperor
The idol, the Emperor, is dead. The symbol of his power, the Death Star, destroyed by terrorists.
This is the starting situation for our heroine, Iden Versio, an elite soldier who is fiercely devoted to the Empire. Versio’s father was also a loyal and high-ranking general of the Empire, and Iden Versio firmly believes in his ideals and principles.

Our heroine hails from the planet Vardos, where the Empire displays its finest side. Rebels are seen there as terrorists, and the belief in the Empire is absolute.
The Empire means structure, freedom, order. The Rebels represent chaos and pose a threat to general security.
Iden Versio will lead the Inferno Squad, an elite unit. Its members are TIE Fighter pilots, saboteurs, and agents.
The Empire is not evil, it is the other side of the conflict
In Star Wars Battlefront II, the Empire is not portrayed as “evil” but is taken seriously and depicted as the “other side of the conflict,” the developers from Motive Studios and DICE assure. However, players are not limited to Iden Versio but will also take on the role of Luke Skywalker in the campaign. Kylo Ren is also expected to make an appearance.
Flying Droid as an important companion
As Versio, the developers assure, you will fulfill the role of an “Elite Trooper,” executing sabotage missions as well as engaging in epic battles.
Versio has a droid as a companion, which we can customize. It should be capable of quietly and stealthily eliminating Rebels. But Versio will also have other tricks at her disposal.
Renowned authors are responsible for the story
For the campaign, EA has enlisted high-profile authors. Walt Williams was the Lead Narrative Designer behind “Spec Ops: The Line.” He was supported by Mitch Dyer, a former journalist who wrote for IGN.
Star Wars Battlefront II will be released on November 17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Initial conflicts arise regarding a season pass or its absence. The developers and publisher EA seem to be at odds about this:
With Patch OB48, Seris comes to Paladins (PC, PS4, Xbox One), the Oracle of Abyss. Maeve, Mal’Damba, and Bomb King receive new skins. This significantly raises the level of the skins. We have summarized the patch highlights.
In Paladins’ Patch OB 48, we get a new champion: Seris, the Oracle of Abyss. She is a healing support character with a mystical, dark aura. Moreover, OB 48 seems to be an announcement for a new level of skins. It has little to do with simple “recolors”. In the new co-op mode, you play “Cops and Robbers”.
Seris – The Oracle of Abyss – Destroy or Heal Souls
Seris is the new support character in Paladins. With her lantern, she seems to collect souls to use them in battle. Seris is surrounded by a dark aura, although she is considered a healing support. The Oracle even currently has the strongest healing on a single target in the entire game.

Seris fires “Soul Orbs” at her opponents, causing them to explode. The explosion deals damage and heals Seris herself. Her ultimate creates a rift in reality that pulls enemies in. When things get dicey, Seris envelops herself in a dark mist that puts her into stealth mode.
Paladins Patch OB48: New Skins for Maeve, Mal’Damba, and Bomb King
Until now, there haven’t been many special skins for Paladins. If you look at the skins of Hi-Rez’s MOBA “Smite”, it is actually surprising. The game is bursting with detailed and sometimes very quirky skins. Hi-Rez likely wants to continue this trend in Paladins now.
Paladins mainly offers “recolors”, meaning color variations of the default skin. With Patch OB 48, 3 skins come that provide plenty of detail and changes to the champ. Hopefully, this trend continues.
Alley Cat: Maeve Gets Adorable Cat Ears
Maeve is said to have grown up on the streets and developed her cunning and talents there. She is known as a cat and receives a new skin that reflects the appearance. With the “Street Cat” skin, Maeve gets cat ears and a bell collar. There is also a cat tail printed on the back of her coat.
Biz King: Bomb King Becomes a Pimp
His Majesty receives a skin that makes him look like a king of modern times. In a pinstripe suit and chunky jewelry, the “Biz King” causes explosions on a grand scale.
Chancellor: Mal’Damba Becomes Noble as Chancellor
Mal’Damba’s “Chancellor” skin comes with a voice pack. You receive this skin from a chest. Mal’Damba and his snake are given a golden coating, adding refinement. Especially Mal’Damba’s snake has received many striking details.
Paladins: New PvE Mode in Coop – Cops and Robbers
In the new PvE mode, you play a round of “Cops and Robbers” with Lex and Maeve. Your team faces off as 5 x Lex against 5 x Bot-Maeve. Maeve’s bots have enhanced features such as reduced cooldown times for skills.
Interface: The interface of Paladins is being overhauled with OB48. Among other things, the descriptions of some maps have been improved. The champion selection is now clearer and the abilities of the heroes can now be viewed here.
Voice Chat: You now have the ability to directly talk with your team. OB 48 brings voice chat to Paladins.
Champions: Almost all champions have received an adjustment. Work on the troubled Inara continues. She is still considered too weak. This time, Hi-Rez is giving her an increase in the range at which she can use her spear. Inara fights at long range, unlike most tanks, which the studio is now addressing. As expected, Lex receives further nerfs. His damage will be slightly reduced.
Bugs: Mainly bugs in maps and champions are being fixed.
You can find the full patch notes in the source reference. Patch OB 48 is already on the test server and will be officially released soon. Expect this either this week or next week. This applies first to PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be later.
What do you think about the new champ Seris and the skins?

The map “The Center” is receiving a major overhaul in ARK Survival Evolved. In the next update, the ocean will be expanded, and many bugs will be fixed.
The Center launched as a self-made map by the modderBen “EvilMrFrank” Burkart. Later, Studio Wildcard made an official DLC expansion out of The Center. DLC stands for “Downloadable Content.” This refers to additional content for a game that can be downloaded. The “The Center” expansion is free and available for PC, Xbox, and PS4.
“The Center” is now set to be massively expanded with a major update.
Major Update for ARK DLC “The Center”
The Center is a treacherous paradise. This map features a great variety of flora and fauna. The highlight is a gigantic, flying island in the west, surrounded by dangerous swamps. To the north, there is an active volcano. Survivors are surrounded by lava and hostile creatures.
Additionally, there are many islands with jungles, tropical coastlines, and ancient ruins. Those who venture far enough inland can explore mysterious caves with artifacts and receive rewards. Survivors can even dive into two underwater domains and build their own Atlantis.
ARK’s Community Lead “evilmrfrank” recently announced that The Center will receive a major update. After much new content has been created for the survival MMO, it was time to expand The Center and eliminate bugs.
The Center: A treacherous paradise
Ocean Expansion for Huge Underwater Bases
Recently, survivors have the opportunity to build bases in the ocean. This prompted Wildcard to make the ocean in the east of the map three times deeper. Until now, the oceans did not feel like oceans but like deep puddles.
Studio Wildcard wants to create the feeling of the deep sea. Survivors should stumble upon creepy, dark places where they would expect anglerfish and other creatures. These areas will be equipped with huge, flat spaces. Ideal for building a large base.
Resources Will Be Spread Throughout The Center
Among the expansions is the distribution of resources more evenly across the map. The new area will have a new source of obsidian. Just like with other resources in The Center, certain resources will be offered in more than one place. Survivors will frequently encounter stone, oysters, and obsidian. Metal will be less prevalent here.
This aims to ensure that players move around the entire map. This prevents a single area from becoming overly dominant and more important than others.
Dino Missing! Missing Dinos Will Be Brought Back, Bugs Fixed
The developers are aware that certain dinos are currently not spawning. These will be brought back to The Center. The major update will also fix known bugs. There are gaps around The Center that players use to get under the map.
More Element and Improved Boss Fights for The Center
On “The Island,” bosses have had different difficulty levels for a long time, and the resource “Element” as a reward. The Center has comparatively less Element, and the difficulty is always the same. In the update, different difficulties will be added to the bosses. The higher the difficulty level, the more element will be given as a reward.
Test the New “The Center” Map? Here’s the Test Server
Those who are now curious about the changes and expansions can head over to the test server. This is currently only available on PC.
Server Name: The Center Temp Beta Test Server of FUN
Listed: Unofficial Server
Connect to Server Directly: steam://connect/192.227.156.12:27015
When exactly the update will go live is still unknown. Studio Wildcard expects it to be at the end of April. The update will first be rolled out for PC and will come to consoles with a few weeks delay.
What do you think of the adjustments for The Center? Will you take a look at it on the test server?
Heroes of the Storm receives a significant dose of Overwatch in April alongside HotS 2.0 and the Amazon Cassia. Following the Overwatch loot mechanic, Cyber-Ninja Genji and the first Overwatch map Hanamura are coming.
We were at Blizzard in Paris at the end of March and got to experience all the cool new features of Heroes of the Storm firsthand. Although the theme was Heroes of the Storm 2.0, it could actually have been called “Overwatch of the Storm,” as Blizzard’s MOBA is getting not only the new, loot system borrowed from Overwatch but also another hero and a map from Blizzard’s hero shooter!
HotS – Genji the Cyber-Ninja as the new hero
That Genji will be the new hero after Cassia is of course no great surprise. Various leaks had already revealed the existence of the new hero quite accurately weeks ago. But now the news embargo has been lifted and we can officially say: Genji is the new HotS hero!
The cool cyber-ninja from Japan is already a popular character in Overwatch, and his fast-paced gameplay has been well transferred to Heroes of the Storm. Just like in the shooter, Genji is extremely agile as a MOBA hero. He can change position multiple times by jumping as a trait, making him hard to catch. Like in Overwatch, he fights at close range with his shurikens.
Heroes of the Storm – These are Genji’s skills
As with all Overwatch heroes, the developers at Blizzard have once again perfectly transferred the hero’s gameplay from the shooter to the MOBA:
Q – Shuriken: Genji throws three shurikens in a fan shape, hitting either multiple enemies or dealing particularly high damage to a single opponent if he lands all shurikens on the same target.
W – Deflect: Genji’s essential skill from Overwatch is also a key to success in HotS. While the effect lasts, Genji is immune to damage and reflects it back to the opponent. Especially Tracer hates this!
E – Swift Strike: Genji dashes straight ahead and strikes with his short sword. Perfect for quickly covering distances.
R1 – Dragonblade: Genji’s ultimate from Overwatch allows for multiple strong attacks at close range with a wide arc. Deadly hits reset the cooldown on Swift Strike. This way, Genji can relentlessly pursue and slash down an opponent.
R2 – X-Strike: This skill was specially developed for HotS and allows Genji to execute a cross-shaped attack over a large area. The X remains in place briefly and explodes after a short time for even more damage!
Heroes of the Storm: We have already played Genji
All of these skills make Genji an extremely agile assassin who can strike quickly and then disappear. However, as we noticed on our trip to Paris, he’s not very easy to play and requires good timing. Especially with Deflect, it is essential to activate the skill in time to weaken the opponent strongly before the attack.
HotS – Hanamura, the first map from Overwatch!
To make Genji feel at home in the Nexus, he gets “his” map from Overwatch bundled. Hanamura is the castle of the Shimada family, the clan of Genji and Hanzo. In Heroes of the Storm, you need to destroy the enemy Nexus, but it is not directly attackable.
Instead, you need to escort so-called “payloads.” These spawn repeatedly after some time and then slowly move along tracks across the map to their destination. Once there, they turn into cannons and fire a single shot at the enemy base, causing damage.
Heroes of the Storm – Hanamura – The Anti-MOBA map
The special thing about it: The payload cannot be stopped. It goes faster when escorted and slower when an enemy stands nearby. If there is no resistance, it can also be pushed back, but it never completely disappears. This makes the battles on the new map especially fierce around the payloads. However, those who destroy enemy towers will receive a bonus to the payload’s damage.
This means Hanamura is a map that breaks with many MOBA conventions. It is less important to capture lanes or destroy the enemy fortifications. Instead, the fights focus intensely on team fights and control over the payload.
Other features of the map include:
Mercenaries are not recruited when defeated. Instead, they grant you a special skill after the victory, which you can then use once. This way you either get dragon spirits that track enemies, a portable healing pulse, or a turret that you can deploy anywhere, even on the payload.
There are only two lanes, one at the top and one at the bottom.
A giant robo-samurai is available as a boss. When defeated (and he is really tough!), he immediately fires a shot at the enemy base.
The new map Hanamura is the star of HotS 2.0
Jürgen says: I extensively played Genji and the Hanamura map in Paris. The cyber-ninja fits well with the other heroes, especially with Zarya and her shields, or Lúcio and his speed buff, harmonizing with the fast but fragile hero. The timing of his Deflect skill and clever use of his jumps are key to victory.
The secret star of the event, however, was Hanamura. The map is refreshingly different from the previous HotS maps and was a lot of fun. I love team fights and fast action. There was plenty of that in Hanamura. However, what I and many colleagues noticed was that you almost never reached maximum level in Hanamura and either won or lost much earlier. It is quite possible that Blizzard wants to improve this.
The port of Destiny 2 to PC may pose some challenges for Bungie. The existing community on PS4 and Xbox One is concerned.
It was long in the air, now it is confirmed: The Destiny franchise will make its debut on PC on September 8, when Destiny 2 is released.
This pleases some PC players who have been eagerly watching the shooter for a long time, but it angers parts of the Destiny community on PS4 and Xbox One. There are worries and discontent about PC players joining in.
Balancing could become problematic with mouse and keyboard included
On consoles, players use the controller, while on PC they primarily use mouse and keyboard. Right now, PS4 players are often suspected of using the “M+K” setup that is frowned upon by console players when they perform well. Using mouse and keyboard is considered “cheating” by some on PS4 and Xbox One. But that is not the issue.
Destiny 2 will not offer “cross-play” – players on different platforms will be separated and will not have to compete against each other.
However: A different balancing may be necessary.
Different balancing PS4/Xbox One vs. PC
For example, it is the case with Overwatch. Skills that aim “automatically” are much stronger on PS4 and Xbox One than on PC and are therefore weakened separately. Blizzard has implemented a different balancing for PS4 and Xbox One compared to PC in Overwatch. Certain skills deal about 30% less damage there.
In The Division, Massive did not implement this different balancing – and some consider that a problem for the online shooter.
The concern: If certain weapons or skills on PC are too powerful with mouse and keyboard, Bungie might weaken them on PS4 and Xbox One as well, even if they are okay there.
This could create additional problems in Destiny 2 for what is already a challenging balancing.
On PC rather weak, on PS4 and Xbox One a nasty little pest: Torbjörn.
Many doubt whether Bungie will manage to balance both versions of Destiny 2 separately.
What about the aim assist in Destiny 2? Does the gunplay work on PC?
What’s important here is how Bungie deals with “Aim Assist”. It’s the “secret of success” for the studio to ensure great gunplay on consoles. Whether this carefully calibrated assistance works at all on PC is currently in doubt.
Simply disabling aim assist on PC could also lead to problems. After all, this aim help is a fixed stat on the weapons and has been factored into their “balancing”. In Destiny 1, sniper rifles like the “Veilshadow” or “Weyloran’s March” only earned such a good reputation because the “aim assist” on the snipers was so high that even a half-blind person could become a sniper.
Whether the gunplay, the secret of success of Destiny, works on PC, we do not know yet.
Cheat danger
The other problem that console players see lies in the cheat danger of a PC version. Hacks and cheats are more prevalent there than on PS4 and Xbox One.
Console players fear that the PC version could be infested with hacks and aimbots – just as it is the case in other PC online shooters.
Some PC players come across as arrogant towards PS4 and Xbox One players. They cannot stand that at all. Players on PS4 and Xbox One are proud of their “exclusive” franchises.
Console players also fear that Bungie will be overwhelmed with an additional third platform and will develop fewer features for Destiny 2 than would actually be necessary. It is often heard: “Instead of bringing it to PC, they should rather introduce [feature X or Y].”
Consequently, players on PS4 and Xbox One are not really excited about PC players joining in.
PC players are concerned about whether the port of Destiny 2 will be good
Conversely, PC players are also not exactly thrilled since hearing that Destiny 2 will be released on PC, and many PC players are worried.
Will Bungie manage the port?
In the past, there have been too many “poor PC ports” of console games, with weak controls and unnecessarily complex interfaces that were obviously not designed for PC and left the advantages of the platforms unused.
Is Bungie doing the port itself or is Activision hiring another studio?
The PC site GameStar fears that Bungie might hire “another studio” to carry out the port and hopes that Bungie will definitely do it themselves.
The new Ghost Recon Wildlands DLC “Narco Road” is receiving a lot of criticism within the community. Many players are dissatisfied with the planned content.
Just last month, Ubisoft’s new open-world tactical shooter was released and is expected to receive its first expansion soon. Tomorrow, on April 18, the Narco Road DLC will be released (at least for premium pass holders) and will bring a lot of new content to the game.
This includes, in addition to 15 new story missions, monster trucks and other vehicle content, which many players find off-putting.
What do monster trucks have to do with ghost operations in Bolivia?
Wrong game for car races
In Ghost Recon Wildlands, you play as ghosts in Bolivia. Ghosts are a special forces unit of the military and are deployed in the game to combat the Santa Blanca drug cartel. You must complete various missions, kill gangsters, interrogate suspects, and destroy weapons to take down the gangster gangs and stop drug smuggling. You have support from rebels, whom you can regularly supply with ammunition during your adventures.
How you approach missions is usually up to you. One type of player prefers a safe approach with simultaneous shots and silencers, while other players rely on the power of assault rifles, shotguns, and grenades that are loud and explosive.
With weapon modifications, you can perfectly prepare for upcoming battles by equipping them with mentioned silencers or go for the brutal route with grenade launchers. You have these options at the gun smith, where there are over 10,000 combinations. Special enemies also drop exotic weapons that are eye-catching on your missions.
And now the first expansion for the tactical shooter from Ubisoft is just around the corner and brings what? Muscle cars, stunt planes, and monster trucks.
“We don’t want a GTA DLC”
On April 18, players with a premium pass can already access the new contents of the Narco Road DLC for Ghost Recon Wildlands. The content announced by the developers for this expansion has received much criticism from the community.
The 15 new story missions, new weapons, and new types of side missions are not the problem and are positively received by the community. Rather, it is the specific vehicle content that Narco Road brings to GRW that players are dissatisfied with:
Race challenges
Muscle cars with nitro boost
Planes for special acrobatic air maneuvers
Chopper motorcycles
Monster trucks

In social networks, many players are negatively commenting on the Narco Road expansion. “These” are really not the contents the community expected.
On Reddit, user kearnsy44 writes, “This will be a flop!” Those looking forward to this content should try GTA, as Rockstar already offers that. Looking at the vehicle controls of Ghost Recon Wildlands, racing is just “ridiculous,” he writes.
User markyymark13 mentions that he does not like the direction the game is taking. He negatively points out that he has to buy the “GTA wannabe Fast and Furious DLC” to obtain the (hopefully) good weapons and other gear.
Also, user Phister_BeHole does not like the reference to GTA. He suspects that competing with Rockstar is not a good way to give the game longevity. “Tom Clancy games are supposed to be tactical shooters. It seems that Ubisoft wants to turn the game into a half-hearted GTA. This disappoints Tom Clancy fans because the game no longer does what you expect from a Tom Clancy game. But it also disappoints GTA fans, as this is not a GTA.”
If you want all the Un’Goro cards in Hearthstone , you have to pay up. How much, we will tell you here.
With every new expansion of Hearthstone, collectors and fans of completeness are faced with an almost insurmountable task. Because collecting all the cards from “Journey to Un’Goro” is not so easy – and above all not so cheap.
On Reddit, user Seaserpent02 simply took a shot and compiled all the known numbers to find out how long it takes to completely collect all the “Journey to Un’Goro” cards. To calculate this, he created a script that starts from a fresh Hearthstone account – meaning it has no gold or arcane dust in stock.
The simulation then repeated the opening of packs containing the 135 cards until all cards of the expansion (in duplicate, Legendaries once) were present. More than duplicate or golden cards were automatically disenchanted in the calculation. The calculation also stopped once there was enough arcane dust to craft the missing cards. This process was repeated 10,000 times, resulting in an exciting graph.
All Un’Goro cards cost €370
One lucky player has already obtained all cards after 214 packs, while unlucky players need up to 437 packs. On average, it takes 316 packs from “Journey to Un’Goro” to own all cards. That translates to – when purchasing the cheapest offer (60 packs for €70) – just under €370! A hefty price for a complete collection of digital playing cards.
Another user subsequently calculated on Reddit what value a single card has.
A common card costs around €0.20 to €0.50
Rare cards cost around €1
Epic ones cost nearly €5
and Legendary cards start at €20
… at least in theory, if Hearthstone were a physical card game where you could resell the cards.
Cortyn says: In theory, that is indeed a pretty high price, and those who play Hearthstone only for completeness may rightly complain. However, those who only want one or two good decks hardly need to spend any money – somewhat active players who play 2-3 times a week have already saved enough dust for the most important cards.
World of Warcraft with fluttering capes and real physics? More and more of that is being implemented.
Although World of Warcraft with its now more than 12 years is a bit technically aged, the developers are continually striving to get the best out of the game engine. Already in the beta of Legion, data miners discovered in the game data that some weapons and armors now use realistic physics – for instance, chains swing back and forth while the weapon dangles from them.
With Patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras”, there are now some weapons in the game that actually make use of this – in the form of special artifact weapon skins.
The next logical step in this development would be fluttering capes. Although the cape animations were revamped a few years ago, “realistic” is something else. In an interview with the colleagues from Gamespot, the developers mentioned that they themselves would love to see this feature.
Even the monk’s cape sways correctly.
“It would be a natural progression if we follow our path, that capes one day will flutter properly, but we can’t promise that at the moment. But that is a cool idea and many want to see it.”
As is usual with Blizzard’s plans, it can take between 1 to 10 years until something like that is actually implemented. Maybe with the next expansion.
Another small update sneaked into Patch 7.2, which has so far been overlooked by most players. When the player has selected another character or NPC nearby, their own character turns its head in that direction – a small but nice feature that can particularly contribute to the atmosphere in role-playing.
Dauntless seems to be an interesting cooperative action RPG that somewhat resembles the “Dark Souls” series. The developers have now revealed a bit more about the game.
If you enjoy playing with a controller, you can do so with Dauntless. Apparently, it is even possible to play with an arcade controller, as a new video of the game shows. However, it is also possible to use a mouse and keyboard.
You will be able to fight the Behemoths in the game in the way that suits you best.
Many things are still in flux
The developers have also commented on the free-to-play model, as it has apparently raised some questions from the community. The fact is that many things are still in flux, including aspects related to the Founder’s Packs. This also applies to the timelines of the testing phases.
Thus, the start of the Founder’s Alpha depends on how the technical alpha goes. Accordingly, this can also affect the start of the Closed Beta and the Open Beta. The Closed Beta is currently planned for the third quarter, the Open Beta for the fourth quarter.
Free-to-play simply brings in more players
Moreover, there is an interesting statement about the free-to-play model. The team wrestled with this payment model for almost a year, as they were dissatisfied with how other games handle free-to-play. However, free-to-play does bring a significant advantage: it allows for far more players, and Dauntless is a game meant to be experienced together with friends.
Furthermore, each player has the power to decide whether to spend money and how much that should be. The developers want players to feel that the team has truly earned the money they receive.
Whether Dauntless will officially launch this year depends on how the testing phases go.

In the PvP MMORPG Crowfall you take on different classes. The developers have now introduced the male variants of the Assassin and the Druid.
The Assassin, also known as the Meuchelmörder or Meuchler, is the fastest class in Crowfall. He strikes from ambush, so it is important for him to wear light equipment that allows him to move swiftly and silently.
The male Meuchler differs from the female version in that his equipment is not made by the same craftsmen and is not exposed to the same cultural influences. He is an outcast who was supposed to have been killed right after birth.
The Assassin in Crowfall: A Dangerous Opponent
His appearance and outfit are meant to reflect that he possesses the same powers as female Assassins, yet differs from them because he does not belong to their order. The hooded helmet is meant to keep his face mostly concealed.
The male Meuchler is a formidable opponent, as his victims only realize who they are dealing with when it is already too late.
Defenders of Nature
The male Druids, on the other hand, want to protect nature, but that is not easy. Their goddess is dead, and hunger is spreading everywhere, devouring entire worlds. Therefore, the Druids cannot heal the worlds, but can only slow down their decay. This cycle of life and death should also be reflected in the appearance and equipment of the male Druids.
They wear plate armor made of bones as well as fur and hardened leather, which they adorn with leaves, vines, and stripped bark that are meant to symbolize life.
Both heroes can still be customized in terms of hairstyle, skin color, hair color, and shades of clothing and armor, keeping in mind that each piece of armor covers different body parts and protects them differently. Currently, there is still no release date for the MMORPG Crowfall.
The Asia MMORPG Age of Wushu 2 aims to carve new paths. The survival aspects are heavily emphasized, there’s sandbox too – and the combat system is supposed to resemble “Street Fighter”.
When it comes to Asia MMORPGs, especially when there’s a “2” at the end, we as Westerners have a clear idea: theme park, a lot of grinding, rather dull combat system. But “Age of Wushu 2” is supposed to be something different.
The combat system has elements of “Street Fighter”
We have already reported on the game, it was said: Many sandbox elements, many ideas from survival MMOs – that already sounded interesting. Today’s news is also noteworthy. Age of Wushu 2 has revealed more about its gameplay elements. Players are supposed to expect elements of “Street Fighter” in the combat system, especially regarding combos.
Simply pressing 1, 2, 3, or 4 will not be enough in Age of Wushu 2. Each attack comes in “light” and “heavy” variations, combining light and heavy attacks with kicks and punches, and then adding a variety of weapons gives a whole lot of Kung Fu variations.
The combat system is optimized for gamepad use, and developer Snail Games also recommends using a gamepad.
10 ranged weapons make Age of Wushu 2 feel like a shooter
It’s not just about melee combat. Fans of ranged combat will find 10 different ranged weapons in Age of Wushu 2: such as bolas, bows, or concealed weapons. These can even be poisoned.
With a ranged weapon, Age of Wushu 2 is meant to play more like a “First Person Shooter”.
“Crafting elements” can also be found in Age of Wushu 2. These are tied to the 5 elements: water, fire, earth, wood, and gold. If someone wants to improve one of the skills, they must practice in a suitable environment. For instance, someone specializing in wood should engage in activities in a wooden hut or in a blessed place associated with wood.
Age of Wushu 2: Release planned in Europe
The Age of Wushu 2 project is in an early stage. In mid-May, AoW 2 is to enter an alpha in China . Age of Wushu 2 aims to “conquer the global market”. This is planned for later in 2017. The game will be released for PC.
The survival MMO is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 – it is not a direct successor to “Age of Wushu”, which will continue to be developed.
It is not a free-to-play game, thus making it the first MMO from Snail Games that is not “free to play”.
Age of Wushu 2: Elements of ARK Survival Evolved?
AoW is produced by Snail Games, who are currently eyeing the Western market with titles like Dark and Light.
Dark and Light is also very unusual for an “Asia MMORPG” and resembles the Western survival MMO ARK Survival Evolved. Dark and Light and ARK Survival Evolved also both run on Unreal Engine 4, just like “Age of Wushu 2”.
The studio Snail Games works closely with the developers of ARK, having invested when Studio Wildcard had financial issues. Therefore, ARK elements could also be present in “Age of Wushu 2”.
In Destiny 2 , Guardians are plagued by numerous questions: Where are the Ghosts in the trailer? Why can’t Guardians use their powers anymore?
With Destiny 2 there will be a “hard reset”: Guardians will not carry over weapons from part 1. In the game, it is explained that the Cabal have overrun the Last City and destroyed the Guardians’ arsenal.
It’s okay if you cry here. Many Guardians felt the same way.
But it goes even further. This “disempowerment” at the beginning of Destiny 2 is not only limited to weapons: The Ghosts and the powers of the Guardians could also be gone.
In any case, no Ghosts are visible in the trailer – and there is only one application of a “power”: Warlock leader Ikora Rey uses the Stormcaller melee.
Destiny 2: Without Ghosts, without weapons, and without powers? Those damn space turtles!
Besides the loss of equipment, there are two further questions that are currently troubling Guardians:
In the trailer, it is stated: Guardians have died. But they can’t die as long as their Ghosts are with them. However, no Ghosts were visible in the trailer, what’s going on? Are the Ghosts gone?
Where is our Space Magic? How could the Cabal defeat us? Why don’t we nova bomb and smash their turtle faces like we always do?
Even in the announcement for the game, Bungie directly states: “Ghaul has taken the power away from the Guardians of the City.” How the hell did the top turtle manage that?
Only this one lightning sparkles in the trailer – otherwise there’s no “Space Magic.”
Are the Cabal hunting our Ghosts?
YouTuber “My name is Byf” has dealt with these questions and comes to interesting conclusions: The Cabal are much cleverer than they appear and may have actually managed to disempower the Guardians in this way. He justifies this with “lore hints” found in the game.
But first: We do not know whether the Ghosts are truly gone – just because they were not seen in the trailer. The English voice of “our Ghost,” Nolan North, will definitely be heard again in Destiny 2. The award-winning voice actor has announced that he is back.
It could really be that the Cabal have figured out the “trick of the Guardians” to become immortal through the Ghosts. In the Grimoire card “Ghost Fragment Cabal 4” it is clear that the Cabal know about the power of the Ghosts to resurrect the Guardians. The Cabal may have specifically destroyed the Ghosts in an attack to finally defeat the Guardians. The space turtles are much cleverer than they look.
Ghaul: Cleverer than Donatello – and he was the cleverest Ninja Turtle!
In this context, the damn clever Cabal could also have figured out that our “space tricks” come from the Light. The Light was granted to us by the Traveler. The Cabal are very familiar with the Traveler. The Cabal may have found a way to attack the Traveler and thus strip us of our power. They could have taken the trick from the Hive.
In the trailer, it can be seen that the Traveler is surrounded by a kind of “energy shield” that, upon closer inspection, looks like Cabal technology. Did the Cabal cut us off from the “space magic” this way?
It really looks like a shield.
Since the Ghosts are connected to the Traveler, they could be separated from us this way. Or the Ghosts have formed the shield around the Traveler and therefore cannot stand by the Guardians.
In any case, a targeted attack by the Cabal on the Traveler would be a “logical explanation” for why the Guardians are less powerful than they were during Destiny 1.
The Guardians would then need to learn new powers in Destiny 2 that do not directly come from the Traveler and the Light or “free” the Traveler in the course of Destiny 2’s storyline.

Mein-MMO says: It’s funny. The reason for starting anew with Destiny 2 is actually: Because it’s a new game and you start “weak” and not already all-powerful. Because getting stronger is the appeal of Destiny.
But justifying it lore-wise is tricky as you can tell. With the reasoning “All your stuff is gone!” like in the trailer, the Guardians are not satisfied. They immediately say: Wait! My stuff was in the “Reef” – that should still be there.
One must be curious whether Bungie is really as clever as My name is Byf believes, and whether Bungie will provide a coherent justification for this “disempowerment.” It would certainly be an interesting approach for the story of Destiny 2.
With the strange state that fans of Destiny are currently in, we are dealing with here:
