The Overwatch character “Hanzo” finally gets the love he deserves. Several legendary skins are in production.
If you want to stand out in Blizzard’s shooter “Overwatch”, you can do so not only with your gameplay skills but also with cool skins. Especially Hanzo players should be excited, as new items have finally been announced. According to the Overwatch developers, this character will have multiple legendary!
When it was announced that there would be no special skin for Hanzo for this event, some players were disappointed. The user Orthane wrote in the Overwatch forum that it was time for the developers to show some love for Hanzo. While other characters are already getting their ninth skin, heroes like Hanzo are being neglected, the user wrote.

Amelie and Gérard Lacroix – The Creation of Widowmaker
One of the spray logos has since caught the attention of fans, as it shows a happy couple on a wedding photo. While many may not understand the picture, lore fans have long recognized: the spray logo depicts Amelie and Gérard Lacroix.
Gérard was a member of Overwatch and was publicly known for his services. The terrorist group Talon wanted to eliminate Gérard. Therefore, they kidnapped his wife Amelie and brainwashed her so that she would wait as a sleeper agent for the right moment. When the order came, she killed Gérard and returned to Talon, where the brainwashing was completed and she became known as the perfect, emotionless assassin: Widowmaker.

The lead designer of StarCraft II is taking on a new position at Blizzard. Many developers are now working on a secret project.
Anyone who has been observing Blizzard and especially its employees in recent weeks and months may have noticed that there have been some restructuring. The top developers from some titles have been reassigned and redistributed within Blizzard. A while back, Tom Chilton, the former Game Director of World of Warcraft, switched teams and moved to a new project.
Now it has also caught David Kim, who has been the Lead Gameplay Designer of StarCraft II. In Blizzard’s official forum, he announced that he had “reached a point in his career where it’s time to face new challenges to continue to grow as a game designer.”
What exactly Blizzard is working on remains a mystery. However, a few hints can be found in the job postings from the past months. Just in November 2016, Blizzard was looking for software engineers capable of “creating a solid first-person engine for an yet-to-be-announced project.”

Fans speculate about first-person Diablo action
There are already many fan theories about what this could be about. Some players hope for a revival of the former “StarCraft: Ghost”, but that is likely history with the Nova missions. Other fans hope for an action game in the Diablo universe, and still others wish that Blizzard develops a single-player shooter for Overwatch.
Whether any of these theories is true is questionable. It is also uncertain whether Blizzard is working on just one new project or already has more hot irons in the fire. The earliest possible date for an announcement would likely be GamesCom or BlizzCon this year. Will the digital PC version of Destiny 2 be available via Steam? According to rumors, the answer is: Yes!
What has been speculated and puzzled over for months and years is certain since the end of March 2017: Destiny is finally coming to PC! While PC gamers have waited in vain for Destiny 1, they are on board with the sequel Destiny 2. Until now, the Destiny experience has been reserved for console players (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 – since autumn 2016 only Current-Gen).
If you want to pre-order Destiny 2 for PC to secure beta early access, you can currently only purchase the disc version. A digital version is not yet available. Many aspiring PC Guardians are therefore wondering: Is Destiny 2 also coming to Steam?

In recent days, concerns have circulated that Activision might provide its own launcher for Destiny 2. However, there are already enough platforms with their own game libraries and friend lists, such as Steam, Origin, Uplay, or Blizzard’s launcher. There is no need for another client. As Gadget 360 now reports, multiple sources have confirmed to them that Destiny 2 will use Steam. However, it is still unclear when pre-orders will begin there. In For Honor, there are increasing indications that the new heroes will be a Ninja and a Centurion. Dataminers discovered images of these warriors in the game data.

Ubisoft has consistently avoided questions about the Ninja and the Centurion in live streams. They are expected to break their silence as the first season of the faction war comes to an end. In a few hours, the fourth round will end. A season consists of 5 rounds, and a round lasts two weeks.
According to the Year 1 plan, two new heroes, two new maps, and additional content will be launched before each new season. The Ninja and the Centurion are the hottest candidates to become the first DLC heroes. By the way, there are also hints of a Highlander.

On the evening of April 10th, there are difficulties in Battle.Net (Blizzard App), leading to login issues for Diablo 3, Overwatch, WoW, and other games. Players cannot log in and are facing closed doors. The server status at WoW is experiencing problems. Hearthstone is down.

The event is scheduled to start tomorrow, on April 11, and will be active until May 1. You can expect a four-player PvE event that looks like an evolution of the Frankenstein event at Halloween where you must fight waves of enemies. However, different heroes will be available for this event compared to Halloween: Tracer, Reinhardt, Torbjörn, and Mercy.
This event is said to have taken place in Overwatch history about seven years ago and has already been teased in the comic that hinted at the 4 characters for the game mode.

Cortyn says: The second chapter of “Aldor RP” strikes different tones than the first part, but is still quite entertaining. Currently, a new hack is circulating in GTA 5 Online that affects your ranks. So far, there has been no official statement from Rockstar.
The online mode of GTA 5 has recently been heavily plagued by hackers. This primarily affects players on PC. In the last few days, the community has noticed a new hack that apparently can change the ranks of all players in an online session. Your character level instantly rises to Level 250 or higher, regardless of how low your level was before. Affected players should definitely report this to Rockstar to prevent possible penalties.
GTA 5 Online – Suddenly Rank 250
On Reddit, players warn that modders can raise your rank to 250, even though you are actually far from that level. This hack frightens many players, as Rockstar’s anti-cheat system has already shown in the past that it needs improvement in many areas and has apparently banned innocent players.
Players often write in the GTA forums that they were banned after a hacker gifted them several million GTA dollars. Hackers enter online sessions and let money fall from the sky above the players, which is then automatically collected by unsuspecting players in the session. Due to the influx of large sums of money without the corresponding efforts, the anti-cheat protection assumed that the money was earned with money hacks and banned several accounts.
Now, players whose accounts have been pushed to level 250 or higher by cheaters are afraid of these bans as well. On Reddit, user CyborgWarrior points out this method and posts a screenshot of a session in which this method was used.
Another problem with this cheat is that these ranks are not just changed for a session, but remain so permanently. You cannot fix this accidental rank increase yourself.
If you are affected by this problem, we recommend that you open a ticket with Rockstar support and describe the situation in detail. This way, you will be on the safe side if your account is punished. To avoid hackers, you can use solo sessions or sessions with friends that cheaters cannot access.

The developers of the upcoming MMORPG Dark and Light have talked about the game world and the first area The Sacred Path. Interestingly, a maximum of 100 players per server will be allowed.

The first game area, where the heroes arrive, is called The Sacred Path. It is a large area consisting of various places such as dense forests, cities, floating islands, a mysterious shipwreck, and more. Additionally, you will find ten interesting dungeons in the landscape.
Plenty of space for 70 to 100 players
The Sacred Path is designed to convey the impression of a beautiful fantasy world with much to discover. However, Dark and Light will not be a theme park MMORPG, but a sandbox in which you can forge your own path. To allow you to fully immerse yourselves and have enough space for all your projects, only 70 to 100 players will be allowed per server. Fans fear that this is too few players to create a good MMORPG atmosphere, but the developers see it differently.
Because Dark and Light will not be a typical MMORPG. It is meant to be special, encountering other players, and survival elements only make sense if you don’t run into a fellow player every few seconds. The PvP system will also benefit from this limitation of player numbers. Three factions compete for dominance in the world of Dark and Light: the Vardo, Estel, and Zaharul – each will have their base at three strategically important points on the map.
There will be wars over so-called spawn points, which allow respawning outside of cities. Additionally, city sieges are planned.
Dark and Light: Early Access is coming, but when?
Furthermore, each player should try to reach the flying islands as quickly as possible, which is only possible with special flying mounts. On the islands, specific rewards and many secrets await. The game area The Sacred Path will therefore offer plenty of space for interesting activities and many diverse places to explore. An early access phase for the MMORPG is imminent, but there is no date for the start yet.
ARK Survival Evolved receives Patch v257 for PC. New dinos and Tek structures are added. The update is planned for late April.

Ark Survival Evolved: Patch v257 – ETA April 30 for PC
Studio Wildcard announced the new Patch v257 for April 30. The update will first be released for PC. It is still unknown when the patch will be available for PS4 and Xbox One. However, console players can also look forward to new creatures in Ark.
The Liopleurodon provides survivors with extra oxygen – long dives are secured.
New Dinos in Ark with Patch v257: Giant Bee, Daeodon, Liopleurodon, Kentrosaurus
These are the new creatures of the survival MMO:
Giant Bee: A large bee whose honey is suitable for hunting mammals. The queen can be tamed and creates a new nest with drones when tamed. Daeodon: They are among the largest mammals and are also known as “Hell Pigs”. The nickname was likely given to these creatures due to their extremely aggressive nature. The Daeodon is an omnivore and is always seeking food, whether it be meat or plants. Survivors who get too close quickly find out how aggressive these animals are. Tamed, the “Hell Pigs” are often used in war, as they are true combat pigs. Particularly interesting for combat: the Daeodon can heal itself.
Daeodon: The “Hell Pig” behaves as ugly as it looks.
Liopleurodon: These creatures belong to the reptile family. They live in water and hide in bushes to surprise and hunt prey. Many cultures believed that the Liopleurodon was a magical being. The skin of the reptile produces an oil that provides survivors with more oxygen while diving. Tamed, this beast is often used for long dives to farm oil and oysters.
Kentrosaurus: The Kentrosaurus is a close relative of the Stegosaurus. Thanks to its sharp spikes, the Kentrosaurus is hardly attackable. They pierce through the thickest skin and armor. When the Kentrosaurus goes on the attack, it can even crush muchlarger creatures. Survivors have had little success riding these spiky animals. In larger herds, they are valuable protectors and hunters of large carnivores.
Survivors should better not get too close to the spikes of a Kentrosaurus.

The fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is now available for free for PS4, PC, Mac, and Xbox One for one week. The free play week is a type of demo or trial for ESO.
As Zenimax announces, there will be a “Free Play Week” for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online starting tomorrow.
From Tuesday, April 11, starting at 4 PM, until April 18, the base game will be free to play for one week. Otherwise, ESO is a “Buy-to-Play” game, so you need to own the base game to play the MMORPG. Ongoing costs through a subscription have not been necessary since 2015.

Is the download of The Elder Scrolls Online worth it?
The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online has undergone a remarkable transformation since its release in 2014 – for the better. It is considered one of the “most improved MMORPGs” in recent years.
The Elder Scrolls Online has continuously received new content. In June, a major expansion called “Morrowind” is coming. To prepare for that, Zenimax now presumably wants to give as many players as possible the opportunity to take a look at Tamriel and stop by for a visit.

In our opinion, The Elder Scrolls Online is one of the recommendable MMORPGs, especially for players who value an atmospheric world and exciting stories. There is much to explore even alone. This is where ESO shines. A visit is definitely worthwhile.
Those who illegally play Mass Effect: Andromeda will be left with wooden faces. The new patch causes headaches for piracy fans.
Over the past week, BioWare has released the long-awaited Patch 1.05 for Mass Effect: Andromeda, which, alongside numerous bug fixes and quality of life improvements, also removed a particularly large point of criticism: The eyes have received a new shader.
What sounds like a small change has significantly enhanced the dialogues and cutscenes, as many of the former “pancake faces” now look more lively and eyes are illuminated correctly. The days of having eyes that glowed “from within,” giving characters a ghostly passivity, are over.
However, there is a group of players who cannot be happy about these changes: pirates. This does not refer to the enemies found in the game, but rather to all who play Mass Effect: Andromeda using a crack and have not purchased the game.
The official patch notes do not mention these changes, but this step is understandable, as they probably do not want to give any hints to the cheaters. The same copy protection is also used in games like Nier: Automata and Dead Rising 4 – and has surprisingly held up for nearly 2 weeks.
Those who acquire the game illegally must therefore continue to live with lifeless faces. So here’s a simple tip: just buy the game.
Perhaps piracy fans will one day be as tired as the faces they are trying to eliminate.

The last update of Star Wars: The Old Republic was a while ago, and slowly the lightsaber-wielders of the former Republic and the Empire are hungry for fresh content. How timely that SWTOR will roll out Patch 5.2 “The War for Iokath” this week, bringing plenty of new content.
The centerpiece of the update is the new operation (raid instance) “Gods from the Machine,” as Iokath is a highly technical world that operates almost entirely through droid technology. And since autonomous machines have always been a cause for conflict, this is no different in Patch 5.2. An initial trailer is said to have already excited players for the new enemies that the Outlander will encounter – both alone and in a group of like-minded raiders.
